Eventually, we ask the question, "What am I doing here." If we assume free will, then we must have chosen to be born in to this world. Why? If we are all part of Source, and we chose to explore creativity separate from Source, then we all have a part in preparing for our return to Source. What do we have to learn to know our part in Source? Well we are One, so we have to learn what Oneness is. We are, at our center, Unconditional Love {as is Source}, so we need to learn Unconditional Love.
So what did we [each individual] decide to do, or learn, in a given lifetime? At some point, it occurs to us, that we have some kind of mission or calling to contribute to the One. For some of us it is clear. We paint pictures, sculpt statues, teach, heal, build houses, raise crops, fix TVs, repair plumbing, dig big holes, etc.; we know what we are good at and we do it. We know it is important and we can see how it is helpful to everybody. For others, sure their job contributes, and they do it lovingly, but they feel their main contribution is how they make people feel. Others, may see that they spur people to think about things they never thought of before.
This whole calling or mission thing would have been easy, if it wasn't for, the corruption of the ego, and the ages of manipulation humankind has endured. How can we know what we are supposed to do or feel, when we have been manipulated to fulfill some agenda of society?
We get to the point where we realize, we have a reason for being here, we could be ten, we could be twenty, thirty, maybe not tell were eighty. How do we discover what we really were meant to be or do? I can be reassuring on this point, we do know, and most of us, at least, find the form of what we are meant to do. We do have abilities. and coupled with intuition, we find the place where we can contribute.
We have heard for ages, that we must find our passion, we must find what we really love to do. We do have all the guidance we need. We were born with it. However, our upbringing in a corrupt world has stilled the voice of guidance and we often ignore our loving urges in favor of pursuing something that brings us wealth, fame, celebrity or notoriety of one kind or another. There is nothing inherently wrong with any of these things, as long as they just happen, and are not ego pursuits.
Our world has been heavily focused on doing and neglects being. If we focus on our being, our doing will take care of itself. We need to be aware of our internal state. Are we peaceful? Do we feel love? When we know- who we are, and we are centered on Love, we can not help but express our gifts; whatever they are. We are creators. We can't help but create. All we really need to do, is be in touch with our loving center.
As we awaken, we will shed, all the ideas and aspirations about ourselves, that we inculcated from society, and are not really us. We will appreciate who we are and love ourselves for our being. The more we love ourselves the more we contribute to the One. We will learn to Trust and give up all judgement.
Part of awakening is giving up measurement, it won't occur to us, whether we are contributing more or less, than our neighbor. We know, all are contributing. Everything is perfect at this moment. We are all moving towards Oneness. We are all discovering Unconditional Love. That is what we are. Let us know our being. Be in the moment. Be Love.
Love and Peace, Gregg
