No matter how good everything else is going in our lives, it is nothing if our relationships are not healthy. This is especially true about our primary relationships. We cannot see paradise when we are having difficulties, in our relationships, with those closest to us. Oh sure, we can get a glimpse now and then. We may be able to visit paradise sometimes; but to have a sustained vision of paradise we need to be able to share it with those closest to us. That means being able to love freely and completely in the relationship[s] we are in.
What keeps us from loving freely and completely? Every reader could make their own list. Many of the things we might think of are shadows from past relationships, some perhaps going back to our early formative years. We fought for survival, sometimes in very dysfunctional families and environments. We developed strategies, that seemed useful at the time, but are now interfering. We developed limits to our self-esteem. We had shame and guilt inculcated in us. We can't, all, lay on a therapist couch and recreate these dilemmas and free ourselves. And, we don't have to, for we can be our own therapist.
We all have the power of being aware of ourselves. We will go through periods of blindness when we "will need a little help from our friends". Still, we can be very effective self-therapist. We can learn what it feels like when our ego light comes on. We can learn to pause and let that moment elapse and not speak or act until the ego light dims. We can learn to listen to others. Listen, listen, listen and listen some more.
We need to remember that opinions, yours and others are only opinions. They are mental formulations of the moment. They do not need attack, defense or agreement. It is a mistake to be too fond of our own opinions. In a relationship, fondness of our own opinions, can easily lead to defensiveness in both members. When we confuse our opinions with our being, the ego light will be luminescent indeed. We are not our opinions. We need not defend them.
We need to tune into when we are defensive. Defensiveness can be subtle. We need to remember, that the other person, will generally see defensiveness as an attack upon them. They will see, our need to be defensive, as an accusation that they could or might hurt us. When we see defensiveness in others, and our self-esteem is strong, we don't see attack, we see insecurity and a call for love.
We have a love light as well as an ego light. That warm feeling that comes over us when we feel loved or loving, that light that shines in our eyes; we can learn to identify that, in ourselves, when it is happening. We can actually learn to shine that light. We can even learn to switch it on when we are in a tough spot. But, that only comes with awareness.
Have you made your list? At the top of my list, is learning to be gentle. Gentleness goes a long way. Gentleness gets us listened to, when nothing else will. Gentleness makes people comfortable with us. Gentleness helps people dim their ego light. Gentleness helps us keep our ego light off. Gentleness wards off defensiveness. Gentleness lets our love flow unimpeded.
I am sure I will have a relationship four and five. I don't think we can exhaust this subject.

FREEDOM
It is a gorgeous day and promises to get better and better. I don't know what to blog about. Inspiration seems to evade me. I know I wrote FREEDOM in the title space. I don't know that I can handle that. I don' know what I was thinking. It would take several blogs just to define the word.
Should I just erase it and start over or should I take a stab at it? Perhaps it is easier to look at how we are not free. We are held by our culture, our beliefs, our concepts, dogmas, prejudices, preconceived notions, family rules, etc. That is just a few things in our heads. Outside, we have laws, governments, corporations, workplace rules; our food and entertainment is pretty much defined by others. Our station in life decides many things like travel, luxury, clothing choices etc.
Paradoxically, we can acknowledge all that and still feel free. We may not want to do anything that is not in concert with custom, culture or law so we don't even notice the limitation.
To cut to the chase, so to speak, I think the only meaningful limitation we have is how we think. Especially, in areas of how we see ourselves. How we think about ourselves. How we value ourselves. From the time we were born we were taught limitation by our parents, teachers, ministers, priests and society in general. We were carefully taught that we did not want/deserve freedom. We were taught not even to question, if we really had it. Those individuals who challenge the system are dealt with. Periods of societal rebellion, like the sixties, come and go; then a period of regrouping and repression follows.
Do we want to be free? Do we want every individual be as free as he chooses as long as he doesn't impinge on others' freedom? That concept has been brought up in every generation for the last few thousand years. There are forces that don't want us to look at the concept of freedom with our eyes open. The concept is only brought up with flag waving and violent intent. Those same forces use the concept of freedom to further our slavery.
As the reader knows, I believe we are moving out of the age of domination. I think we can no longer be controlled by those who relish power. So............ are we ready to be free? Are we ready to grant our neighbor the right to believe, think and do what ever they want as long as it doesn't impinge on anybody else's freedom?
Most of us would like to say, yes. I am not sure we can be sure how we think and feel about it until we look at our own 'stuff'. By stuff, I mean all the things we believe and act upon without even knowing it. We have dogmas, tenets, customs etc, that we have absorbed and they have become part of us. The most important of these is, how we feel about ourselves. Many of us were taught we don't deserve anything. We never even stopped to consider if we felt free. Our religion taught us we were bad and even needed saving. Our cultural surroundings didn't belie that belief. Wow! How do you feel free with that load of crap?
Even the best of us have psychological limitations to deal with. How are we to understand what freedom is? What is free will?
Can we decide that all the limiting crap we absorbed is not true? Can we stand on Earth like newborns and see with clarity? Can we see everything with new eyes? Can we see the Earth is our loving Mother who gives us everything our bodies need? Can we accept that the Universe might be Love? If we shed our crap, will we fall in love with ourselves? Will we see that everyone else is somebody to love, too?
Hey! We believed a lot of crap in our lives. Let's believe something that might help. Let's believe in Love. Let's believe we were just wearing disguises and we are really loving beings of light.
Free will- that is the freedom to choose love over all limitation. With love we will know freedom.

LIVING
We have a ring of stones in our backyard. It is, actually, a pit lined with stones, but it hasn't been cleaned out lately, so it is filled with ashes, and appears to be just a fire ring. We haven't used it much for sitting around this year. Perhaps now that Fall is here, we might utilize it. In times past, we did much of our cooking outside.
Many times I sat around the fire, usually with friends or family members, and I would often feel a connection with humanity. I would feel that we were doing something, that folks have experienced, for thousands, maybe, millions of years. Was it profound? It was simple. It was peaceful. It was oneness with the Earth and mankind.
Yesterday, I was sitting outside near the shed where I am raising thirty young chickens. The shed is situated about 100 yards from the main chicken coop, so for the most part, the big chickens don't interfere. These young chickens are almost six weeks old, they are fully feathered out and look like miniature versions of adults. We have plastic lawn chairs set out around the farm, so I can sit and meditate, or rest, or just observe. Around five in the afternoon I gather the eggs from the main coop and then I visit the young chickens and feed them and sit and visit with them. They are old enough now that I release them from their enclosure every Morning and allow them to free range.
While I was sitting there, some of the chickens, gathered around me, looked at me quizzically, and pecked at my trousers. Sometimes they jump in my lap. I had a similar feeling to the campfire experience. I felt like I was experiencing something mankind has experienced for thousands of years. There was great peace and a sense of continuity and oneness. I felt like I have lived like this for thousands of years.
How are we to live on the Earth? I am sure there is not just one way to live on this globe we call Earth. Yet, if we are going to be here, why not live as if we belong here? Why not be part of it? Jamie and I have pursued kind of a peasant existence. How did peasant become a pejorative term? Peasant life doesn't mean one lives without art, music, literature and other graces of life. We all came from peasant stock at one time. Perhaps, peasant became a term of denigration because they were relatively defenseless against those who would exploit them. Then all classes, except the elite, are defenseless against the exploiters.
In any case, we are moving out of the age of exploitation, how do we want to live on the Earth? We have much to appreciate in the peasant lifestyle. We take from what the Earth lovingly gives us and give to the Earth in return by enriching the soil. We tend our flocks and gardens. We play music. We create art. We laugh. We sing. We enhance our lives with beauty. We enjoy. We live.
The peasant lifestyle doesn't mean we eschew technology. It does mean we don't let technology destroy the planet and insulate us from life. I am using a computer to type and send this message. It doesn't interfere with my lifestyle. Technology is great. We need free energy. We are great beings of light. We need to express ourselves. We need to experience. We need to travel around this Earth and our galaxy.
To become fully conscious means, we are aware when we are being destructive, and we choose not to be. When we become aware that all is life, we will treat our surroundings differently. Life is precious. Life is Love. Yes, we are free beings, let us choose love.

AUTUMNAL EQUINOX
Wow! What a beautiful day! We have been experiencing the waning of Summer these last few weeks. This Morning, it is brilliant. The Autumnal Equinox arrives at 9:29PM Central Time. What a spectacularly beautiful day to mark the end of one season and the beginning of another. The air is cool 58F right now [10:53AM] but the Sun is hot and it feels much warmer.
The light from the Central Sun, from Source, from The Creator, from God, or lets call it, The Everything There Is, is shining brightly upon the Earth. Folks are waking up, to the knowledge, that Love is the only thing there is. All else is illusion. Love creates reality. Darkness {fear} makes illusion.
The veil is lifting and we are moving out of the illusion, that has been with us, for at least thirteen thousand years. As more and more of us realize we are surrounded by nothing but Love, we sweep away the illusion around us. Folks, feel the change, and approach us for help in opening their eyes wider. We know, that all we need to do, is focus on Love and appreciate our Oneness to bring down the veil. We already live in Paradise.
Meanwhile, more and more folks are seeing the illusion for what it is, a manufactured nightmare designed to enslave us. The truth of 9/11 is becoming obvious. The majority of folks now believe it was a put up job to create endless war. There is a strong reason to believe that there are no terrorist and never have been. The idea of terrorism was conceived by the cabal to keep us in endless fear. Fear is their power. Fear is their lifeblood. They cannot survive without our cooperation. When we give up fear we choke off their source of energy.
The world, built by this illusion, is crumbling at every level. The weakest link is the financial system. Fiat money only has value by agreement. It has no tangible value. When folks lose their faith in it, it is worthless paper or just numbers on a computer screen. The Fed has been attacking peoples faith by producing trillions of dollars in a supposed attempt to stimulate the economy. This, so called, 'quantitative easing' has done nothing to stimulate the economy. People, around the world, have been getting poorer and poorer, as the banks and the elite, get richer and richer. Yet they, too, have nothing because their wealth is empty numbers. Banks [the big banks making up the cabal] know this and they are running scared. They have been using all their power and wealth to stir up trouble around the globe; they desperately need a war to save them. It is not going to happen.
There are rumors that the dollar will collapse soon. The petrodollar is breaking down, as more and more nations have given their willingness, to trade in oil, for currency other than dollars. Without the support of oil to give the dollar value, it is doomed. The only value the dollar had, besides faith, was the agreement among the oil nations that they would sell oil only for dollars. Without that backing, the dollar looks worthless. One of the rumors is that Saudi Arabia will begin selling oil for other currencies in the coming weeks.
Another rumor, is that the BRICS nations led by Russia and China have been buying up gold and plan to issue a new currency based on gold. If this is true, it will be the end of the tyranny that has been imposed on us by the banking cartel.
It has been long proposed, by those I seek mentoring from, that a currency reset is due soon. A new currency will be issued and universal debt forgiveness will be announced. They [my mentors] have stated, that folks, round the world, could foresee the collapse and have been working to get a system in place to replace the old. This a necessary requirement of the new age. Just as there has been, a shadow government of the dark, running things, there has been a group of people of the light, anticipating their moves and preparing for these times.
We will watch it unfold, just as we watch the changing of the seasons. The world is awash with love. Let's keep our focus on Love. If it is not Love, it is not real.

WHY I BLOG
My life is perfect, but my mind is blank. Since I can't think of anything to write today, I will discuss why I blog in the first place.
When I first started this blog, I envisioned writing about self-sufficiency. I could see that the end of our present civilization was approaching and I felt folks needed guidance on how to live off the land. I wanted to create a blog where there would be much discussion and participation by the reader.
We lived for many years, with our garden and small farm, as the main source of food. We didn't have electricity for seven years and didn't have modern plumbing for ten years. We lived elegantly and comfortably. We heated and cooked with wood. We raised chickens, sheep and goats. Made our own cheese. We had a cow and horse once, and we raised pigs. We learned how to make and smoke our own bacon and ham and Jamie became quite an expert on canning and drying foods for storage.
I thought that when everything crashes, this knowledge and experience would be valuable. I wanted to share it so others could achieve self-sufficiency in relative comfort.
That never happened. I am, also, fascinated with, who we are as human beings, our evolution, where we have been and where we are going.
I haven't given up on the idea of self-sufficiency as of significant value, but as I talked about what appeared to be happening, it seemed that our spiritual evolution was the most important thing.
Jamie and I have been on a spiritual quest since we met. I was on a path of agnostic, intellectual humanism and one of our first serious arguments was about reincarnation. She thought it was plausible and I thought it was the most anti-intellectual claptrap I ever heard of. But, if I am anything, I am curious. I was in the private practice of psycho-therapy at the time and I had taken courses in hypnotherapy. Most of my clients were more than willing to see if they had a past life. At first, I assumed, that the past life experiences, that emerged, were created by ego [some wish fulfillment]. It became impossible to explain them that way or any other way but to speculate, perhaps, reincarnation is a reality.
Once I opened up my mind to the idea, that there was more to the human experience, than intellectual humanism explained, I was on a path of discovery. Jamie introduced me to the Edgar Cayce material and several other related works. So here I am today, with the help of Carlos Castaneda, Ram Dass, The Course in Miracles [went through three times] and many, many more works that are just as good as the ones mentioned.
When I started out my blog, with the idea of focusing on self-sufficiency, I was hoping, for many questions and comments, I could relate to. I couldn't keep a blog, of that nature, going without knowing what people wanted to learn about. Did folks want to know about canning, chicken raising, compost, mulching, cheese making, keeping things cold without electricity or ice, food storage, latrine building, heating water and bathing without running water, lighting, making candles, how to tell when a hen stops laying, there is really no end to the topics that could be discussed. I couldn't guess what people wanted to know.
Ah, but spiritual and psychological evolution! I am in the middle of that. I want to know who I am and where I am going. What are we! Who are we? How do our minds work? What happened to all the civilizations that have gone before? How did our minds get corrupted with fear? Who corrupted our minds with fear? Why would anybody want to control us? What is power anyway? Why would someone want power over others?
I puzzle about the last question. Why would one want power over another? Power means one cannot experience love. A person who is afraid of another's power can't love that person. How could one love someone who is in control of them? If they are good, we could appreciate them. We may honor them. I suppose one could love as a child loves a parent. But adult love includes the possibility of intimacy, it implies equality. It invites a sense of oneness.
Then it occurs to me that those into power don't seem to care about love. They are not nice, unless they are being manipulative. They don't seem to understand kindness, for kindness sake. Is it possible that they are so convinced that they are unlovable that control, through power, is the only closeness they can experience? Do you suppose the cabal is made up of folks who are incapable of love? Or, at least, think they are?
This blog has really turned out to be a ramble. So, in the absence of questions comments etc., I write about what I am trying to learn. And I am learning, I teach myself something every time I write.
I feel, with all my heart and mind, that we are on the cusp of a new age. I believe that our insistence on love is creating a new world. The fear generators are dying. We need only to resist fear, in all its forms, to increase the light. Love is everything. Let us keep focusing on paradise. We will bring it about.
Love and Peace, Gregg

We need only to resist fear, in all its forms, to increase the light. Love is everything. Let us keep focusing on paradise. We will bring it about.

RELATIONSHIPS TWO
I am going to write a couple more blogs on relationships but not necessarily sequentially. One of the important aspects of relationship is how we help each other. We are going through an era, characterized by rapid growth by some, and slow or real foot dragging by others. The waking up is quite uneven. A few have something invested in keeping the old world intact.
Those of us, who are beginning to see, want those around to join us. It is difficult to find a balance but keeping a few things in mind will help. As a general rule don't give your opinion unless asked. When we are learning something and are excited about it we will attract questions, from those around us, that want to know. Some of the things we are learning may be threatening to those who are trying to hang on to their belief systems. Challenging someone's belief system drives them further into their shell and may even bring out hostility. No one wants their beliefs threatened.
Keep in mind that everybody is responsible for their own spiritual/intellectual growth. Our friends and relatives are where they need to be now. When they are ready to know what you know, they will ask. If you have reached a greater level of peace, they will know it. Eventually, they will inquire about the change they experience in you.
It is difficult to watch somebody be ignorant of something you are learning. The urge to help is great. Remember, a child can't tie his/her shoes until their ready. Any attempt to teach too soon is just frustrating. It is the same with what we are beginning to see. Everything we thought we knew is untrue. Many folks are not ready for that.
A teacher teaches best what she/he is trying to learn. In reality the roles are reversed, the teacher learns more from the process. The student, acts like a magnate, and draws from the teacher information that the teacher did not realize she/he knew.
As our eyes open and we become more aware, we radiate that energy to those around us. We don't need to initiate the discussion. Be at peace, folks will ask.
We are learning very fast and we don't know where we are on the continuum. We are giving up old beliefs, be careful not to attach yourself to new ideas. Examine, learn, appreciate, but don't attach. We are in flux. Remember an opinion is just an opinion, don't hold on too tightly and don't share unless asked.
These are amazing, glorious times. The light is bright. We are on the threshold. A year from now, we will look back and realize what we think we know now is, not much. Don't concern yourself with those who don't seem to be learning at your pace. Know the love that is flowing all around us. Share that love with the folks, with your kindness, your smiles, your laughter. When they sense they have something to learn from us, they will ask.

RELATIONSHIPS
Friday, I mentioned that I would talk about relationships, today. That is a huge subject and I know so little and yet so much. We are all in relationships all the time. I don't know that there is, such a person, as an expert on relationships. Some folks see a little more, and I am not sure one can guess who, according to profession. Writers, such as novelist and playwrights, may head the list.
I want to accomplish two things today. I would like to give a brief overview of the ego and I would like to point out that relationships are under stress during this period of adjustment.
As we have discussed before the ego is not inherently a bad thing. We created it as part of our body experience. When we first found ourselves separate from each other, in these strange bodies, we felt vulnerable. We still knew we were One and we still had connection with Source. Yet, encapsulated in these bodies, we felt we needed some warning system to alert us of danger. We made our egos to give us a sharpened sense of our separate bodies and to be alert to anything that could threaten the body. As long as we knew our Oneness with each other and Source, the ego had a valuable function.
To make a very long story short; we gradually sunk deeper in to density and lost our connection with each other and Source. With separation fear entered in. The ego interprets fear as a need for greater protection and increases the mechanisms of separation. Of course, a related story, is how a handful of people learned how to use the ego's, propensity for fear, for control.
Thus the ego began as a protection, because of our separation, and it ended as a cause of our separation.
The ego has become a tyrant. It has become identified [ in our minds] with who we are. In order to protect itself it guards against any danger that we might see ourselves as One. This little tiny part of us acts like it is all of us. It is jealous of what it sees as its identity and fights to maintain it. The ego {with great help from our controllers} has developed a range of mechanisms to maintain separation. I will mention what comes to my mind, other folks may think of other things: competitiveness, self-aggrandizement, defensiveness, belief in higher and lower, greed, prejudice, domination, inequality, ingratiation, up putting and down putting of all kinds, etc. We could go on and on. The ego uses anything it can to give us a sense of separation from each other and Source.
We are at a time when Love is flowing abundantly on Earth. Not all of us are aware of it yet. Still it is enough that our egos feel threatened. That tiny part of us that has become comfortable with control thinks it is, all of us. When we attempt to grow and decide to give up the dominance of the ego, it rebels, it feels threatened with extinguishment. It makes us hypersensitive to threats from others.
All through the ages, folks who wanted to grow spiritually, had to deal with their egos. This certainly in not a new thing and literature is replete with examples. Now, however, the love that encompasses the world invites all of us to put aside our egos. The strife occurs for two reasons: one; the urge to grow, that has laid dormant in some, has begun to express itself and folks that were before, willing to put up with a smothering or limiting relationship, are reaching for something more. Two; folks in relationships, that are growing, are suddenly finding themselves in heightened conflict because their egos are panicked. Their ego's know their time of control is limited and they attempt to flood the mind with panic that is connected with whichever ego attribute is triggered.
What can we do? First have faith that this period of chaos will be short lived. We need to look at ourselves and honestly assess what ego attributes we are hanging on to. Why can't we keep our mouths shut when one of our buttons are pushed? Do we still need that button? What would happen if we didn't react when our spouse, friend, relative said something we found offensive?
During this time we are going to find ourselves ego involved in one way or another. We can become sensitive to it and be wary of any off-beat behavior we might be expressing. It would be nice if we all had a light that lit up on our foreheads when we were ego involved. Since ego involvement is a gradient thing [we are always somewhat influenced by ego] the light could intensify with the ego involvement. When the light was shining bright folks could say, "We better ignore him until the light dims". Likewise, it would be nice if we had our own internal light that would warn us when we are about to be crazy.
You know what? We already do. We know perfectly well when we are being nuts and we generally see it in others. But in that moment we don't care. Ego triggers ego. We may know perfectly well our spouse is having a bad time, but they may say something that we just can't pass up, and away we go. Action and reaction, when the ego light is on, is insane. It is amazing how two credible people can be in an ongoing fight that essentially is about who will quit first or who started it.
We will learn not to do this. Our egos will drag us through a lot of dreck if we allow them. We can think of our egos as terrified and spoiled little children; threatened by everything and wanting to control everything. We can help them grow up. When we feel our ego light come on [don't deny it-you know when it happens] we can tell ourselves lovingly, that everything is okay, we are not abandoned, we are loved. We can do that a thousand times a day if necessary. We don't need to react when poked. We can become aware of our own poking. We are learning. We are growing. Interpersonal discord will become a memory soon. First it will just be funny and then we will give it up completely.
Egos are a source of great amusement and when we can laugh at ourselves; really great belly laughs we will be healing.
We are constantly in relationship. It is a kaleidoscope. Even when we are alone we are in relationship. With our memories, with intimates who are temporarily not there, with ourselves; most of these relationships, regardless of the strife, are growing and enriching. We are in a time when we must realize we are responsible for our own growth. It is not helpful to maintain relationships in which we feel hurt, poisoned or undermined. If a relationship oozes negativity, why would we do it? We need to love everybody. In some situations it is easier to love from afar that it is up close. When we find ourselves in that kind of situation, know that you can't help them, if you can't love them up close.
The light is getting very intense. We are being forced to give up our craziness. Any hidden beliefs we have in darkness will cause us pain until confronted and melted away. Be wary of those ego lights, yours and others, we will make it through this period just fine. Paradise beckons.

BACK TO THE BASICS
It suppose to get down to 33 degrees tonight with widely scattered frost. Autumn has arrived. I think it is a human condition not to feel ready for it; but this year folks seem especially unready. Of course, I am basing this on just a few comments I hear; for myself, time has been going so fast, it is a blur.
The infrastructure of the old world is collapsing. The banks are insolvent, the stock market makes no sense at all. Although, the banks are making more money than they ever have before, they cannot make up for the bad debt that lies in their vaults, e.g. credit default swaps etc. The average worker makes less than she/he did during the 70s when corrected for inflation. The so-called recovery does not exist. Only, the rich have become richer.
Nobody can stop the New World, created by love, from emerging. It will arrive in stages. We will be surprised by the sudden sense of world peace as the existing skirmishes shut down. A new banking system will be in operation, soon, based on precious metals. This will be a temporary fix. Our whole relationship with money will change and soon, we will realize we don't need it. New energy sources will relieve us from our dependence on fossil fuels. There are many devices in development that use so called "free energy". There will, no longer, be the buying and selling of energy. Exploitation of the Earth will come to an end. Folks will recognize the equality and worthiness of everyone.
In the years to come, we will rethink everything we thought we knew. Education, healthcare, transportation etc. will all be changed. Most of what we have done has been based on false premises of who we are and what is our purpose. As we learn our true history and get a better sense of who we are, we will modify or completely replace, our existing institutions.
Things will look a little chaotic for awhile. Those, who would have enslaved us, have indoctrinated us with many, many fears and many false beliefs. We have much unlearning to do. The consensus illusion, we created [what we thought of as reality] is insane. It has little connection with the reality, that we create as a heart expression. The reality we create as part of Source.
To get through this short, chaotic, re-adjustment period, we need to get back to the basics. Over the last several years, we have learned to appreciate how our perception decides our experience. How we think and feel determines what we see. We are the creators of our individual experience and we create the world, we see jointly, with our neighbors.
The basics are: we are creators; we create with the energy of love or we create with fear; we create by having thoughts and then giving them the energy of our feelings; we are One- what we feel or do effects everyone; there is only now. I am sure the reader could add to this list but this is a solid beginning.
The chaos will not affect us if we can stick to the basics. We don't need to allow fear in our minds. We need to be alert to what enters our mind and give fear the bum's rush when it appears. We need to convince ourselves that worry has no value. Worry, as an aspect of fear, is a tricky companion. Worry tries to trick us into thinking it is responsibility. Worry plays into our superstitious natures, "what we worry about won't happen". Don't let worry dress itself up as something respectable. It never is.
But we can't fight fear. We can only choose not to be afraid. The best way to eschew fear is to open up to love. If we constantly remind ourselves we are love, fear will have difficulty taking hold. Love is easy. Love is enriching. Love is natural. We can practice bringing our love to the surface. When we see someone, we can intentionally look at them with love. It might help to say to ourselves, "I love you". When our friend, neighbor, relative or stranger feels the beam of love, they can't help but light up. Your smile at someone in the grocery store may go around the world.
We need to love ourselves. We are not little love machines in isolation. We are 'one' with each other and one with 'Source'. The love, we beam out at the person in the grocery store, is the Love of Source. All is One.
Those of us who have learned to meditate have probably found that place of quiet and felt the love of the universe. It doesn't have to be a formal meditation. It can be just a period of suspension of usual thought, a quieting of the noise in the mind, a period of deep peace. We can have this experience washing dishes or weeding the garden. We need to find a way, to periodically drop into a peaceful place, where we can feel the flood of love emanating from the universe. We can talk to our higher self [or if it fits with our belief- talk to God] It helps to talk things over with ourselves when we are in quiet place of love. We all have guidance. Our actions can come from a deep place of being.
Many folks will will need our help. When we come from a place of peace and love our help will be effective.
On Monday, I would like to talk about relationships.

STRANGE DAY
Summer lost its grip overnight. It was warm yesterday, upper to middle 70sF, then a storm system came in. It looked very foreboding but a major storm did not materialize. From late afternoon until Midnight, the weather threatened but nothing happened. It didn't start getting cold until late evening and it finally began to rain about midnight. Overnight it rained about an inch. It hasn't warmed up. It is 50F at 3:40PM.
Yes, 3:40PM and I am just starting to blog. Things kept happening to slow me down. I have a little over an hour until I need to do my afternoon chores. Do I have anything to say?
Our old world appears on the edge of collapse. The cabal is filling the mainstream media with war cries. They keep claiming the Russians have made incursions into Ukraine but they have not a shred of evidence. Meanwhile, Putin seems to be making real progress in bringing peace to the area. Every country the U.S. has meddled with, is in chaos; Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. That is only the countries where we meddled majorly. There are many other countries that have been thrown into chaos, like the Ukraine, where our meddling was more hidden from the average observer. The Ukraine government would have never been overthrown if it wasn't for U. S. interference.
I use the label U.S. I don't think my friends and neighbors support this behavior. I don't think even a majority of government officials support this military adventurism. How does it happen? How does a relatively small military/industrial complex dictate to the government what they are going to do with their troops? These are innocent people, on both sides, that die and suffer without ever knowing why. I think it is dawning on folks that we are not fighting for our country. That is why I refer to those who manipulate us into warlike behavior, the Cabal. This power group does not originate in the U.S. We just provide the military force that they use in their enslavement of the world. These people, who have habitually garnered all power and wealth to themselves, have been orchestrating war and strife for thousands of years for their own benefit. They have no loyalty to any country or group. They use the fear and prejudices of the people to maintain control.
I wouldn't even mention it if there wasn't so much negative energy coming from the media right now. It gets to one. I don't even see television news. I do read a news magazine and look at the paper every day. I wouldn't even mention it because I know it is over. The old order is crumbling. The Cabal is in a frenzy trying to whip up a war. The people are not buying. Despite what we may read/hear in the media people are not being swayed. How many people do you know who support the war mentality?
The people of the world have decided they want no more war. War has never decided a conflict. They only produce more war down the line. Without interference of the war mongers, we can manage all conflicts and arrive at resolutions without killing.
I preach that we should never focus on the negative. Should I erase what I have just written to avoid creating negative feelings? It is kind of a tightrope walk. We need to be aware of what is going on without responding to it emotionally. We increase what we focus on. We need to have the courage to see the truth without reacting negatively to it. We can acknowledge the awfulness and then focus our minds on the love that is everywhere. And the love is everywhere.
If we can keep our minds out of the dreck we will see what an absolutely gorgeous world we live in. And it is a beautiful world, peopled by wonderful loving beings, that just want to live and let live, and love and let love. All we need to do is focus on the love around us. It is growing. The old world is passing.
It is almost five and I need to do my chores. Keep beaming your light. I have a feeling I had my shade a little drawn when I first started this blog. I apologize. It helps to write. Let us shine our light together and wash away the dark.
Love and Peace, Gregg

HAPPINESS
Do most of us really understand happiness? Do we ever find ourselves hanging on to something we think we should be unsatisfied with? Don't we sometimes postpone being happy until something gets resolved?
Whatever the current conditions in our lives, it has little to do with happiness. If we observe ourselves, we will find that we turn on happiness like a switch. We can go to place to place and turn our mood from sour to bright like a chameleon turning colors. I can be in a rather somber mood and guests come over and I light up like a Christmas tree. Likewise, I have found myself lighting up when I go into one of the stores we frequent.
I have experimented enough to realize this brightening up is voluntary. It is under my control. It is not the outside conditions that determine when we throw the happiness switch. Happiness seems to be a minute by minute decision we make.
Yet, sometimes we seem to prefer to wallow in our unhappiness; interesting. Just this Morning I was grossing about something, in my mind, and I caught myself feeling, that the situation had to rectify itself, before I would be happy. Fortunately, the time was measured in seconds rather than minutes or hours. But I have known people that seemed to wallow in misery for months when they could have merely decided it wasn't necessary to be unhappy.
Our materialistic culture encourages us to forgo happiness until we attain certain goods or parameters. We sometimes go through life chasing a carrot on a stick. We can't quite relax into happiness until some desire is fulfilled.
What would happen in the World, if everybody decided to be happy right now? Can we imagine how intensely it would light up? Light and love would wash away every worry in the world, right now. We are all beacons of light. We can pull our shades down or let them up. When we let our shades up and let our light beam out, we brighten those around us. The light multiplies as the shades go up and folks let their light beam out.
It all begins with us. How would we know if paradise were here if we are wallowing around in some dreck? If we had our shade pulled down we wouldn't be able to see. Yes, it is all inside us. All knowledge. All experience. We Are and we are One. Paradise is in each one of us and all of us. Find the switch. Turn on the light. Raise the shade. Let us out picture our dreams. Let paradise unfold.

UPS AND DOWNS
I know. I know. This journey is tiring. Sometimes we get discouraged. We think we are getting it together then, someone close to us hurts our feelings, and we have a tantrum. Or we are the person hurting someone's feelings, because we are impatient or careless. Sometimes we find ourselves irritated and depressed for no discernible reason. It seems like we have a myriad ways of defeating ourselves. We have grown enough now, that we can experience times when we feel really together. We get a glimpse, of what it would be like, to always be peaceful; to always be happy. This makes the backward sliding times more distressful, as we know it is unnecessary.
But, perhaps, it is necessary. Our egos don't want to give up control. Our growth scares everything our egos stand for: competitiveness; higher and lower; dominance; separation; division; fears and judgements of every kind; etc. These traits are deeply imbedded in the best of us. Our egos take us on a carnival ride of craziness attempting to stay in control.
The good news, our egos are losing out. They can't stand up to the love that we are opening ourselves to. It is painful, but it only seems like we are going backward. We can't go backward. We made an intent to go grow. We can only go forward. Everything is learning. All experience will lead to more growth.
When we are having a downer, it is time to review the basics. We are the creators. What are we focusing on? What are our thoughts? Are we wallowing in a sea of crap? We only explore these dark places because we have accepted the invitation of our ego. Every time we do it, we learn not to do it. There will be a last time.
The global ego, the world that is passing, is inundating us with negativity, as it fades away. As our individual egos, it doesn't want to give up without a fight. The global ego uses the media in hope of perpetuating the craziness. If we are not careful, the vibrations emanating from the mainstream media wears us down.
As I said; back to the basics. We increase what we focus on. Let us not pay attention to the negativity coming from the media. We are well practiced, by now, in catching ourselves having negative thoughts. They can be subtle and we can be well engrossed in a thought process before we realize the negativity. Let us renew our efforts to think positively, or better yet, have the peace of no thought.
Peace is basic to all we want; love, happiness, joy, intimacy, oneness, etc. Peace originates with us. We can't fight for peace. We can't confront for peace. We can't argue for peace. We can't do anything for peace. We can be peaceful. When our being is peaceful, our doing will promote peace.
We will bring peace to the world by learning to be peaceful. We all have that peaceful place inside us. We will learn to extend it to the world. Let's do it now. Let's sink into that peaceful place inside and bless the world.
Most of all, let us reassure ourselves that we cannot lose. We have succeeded. Love has eclipsed the dark. Be confident that it will soon be clear. Peace is descending on the Earth. Let us hold our light high, so all can see.

FINDING OURSELVES
So much of this journey is finding who we are. We know we are not meant to be subject to any one else, either their person, or ideas. Religion was not able to help much, as it encouraged our subjection to its own organization and the powerful in general. We have been made servants or slaves to the powerful and we have been discouraged to think for ourselves.
We need to give up all these preconceived ideas that were foisted on us from outside us. We are one with our Creator. That means we have all the knowledge that the Creator gave us. We only need to look inside us to know the truth of anything. As part of Source, we are of Everything. Source is Love, so we can only be love. We have been carefully taught to look outside ourselves for guidance and validation; that is a recipe for slavery. Truth, love and validation can only be found inside.
It is good to reach a point where we recognize we know nothing. Nothing! Nothing, we think of as knowledge, can be trusted. We know only one thing, we are Love. If our Creator, Our Source, is Love, then we are too.
The chaos we see around us, was made from our belief in separation from Source. Because we are creators we made a very convincing world of anti-love. Because we are, also, loving children of Source, we could not make a world completely separated. Even in the darkest eras of the illusion, love showed itself. Our Source would never abandon us; however, we did our best to abandon Source.
We are at a point in our journey when we can evaluate, what is true or not true, by immersing ourselves in our own being. We can bring an idea into our mind and turn it over. Does it feel like love? Does it enhance our feeling of oneness? Is the result of accepting this idea, love?
We are one with Everything. We are one with the Earth [Gaia] and one with Source [God]. It is not, an either or, situation. There is no division. We are like great trees with our roots wrapped around the Earth and our branches in heaven.
Let us go inward and search for ourselves. Let us find that place. That place of silence. That place of infinite creation. That place of unconditional love. That place of perpetual peace. It is there. It is the place where we know our Oneness. The place where we expand to cover Heaven and Earth. When we look at the world, from that place inside, we see the reality of love. The illusion of separation drops away.
No longer will we harbor ideas of limitation. We are great beings of light. Any thoughts, feelings, attitudes to the contrary are part of the illusion. We will let the illusion drop away. We know we are free. We will bask in the Love of our Creator. We will bask in the Love of each other. We have a universe to explore.

THE BEST LAID SCHEMES........................
The best laid schemes o' Mice and Men, Gang aft a'gley. Yup, Robert Burns was right, we didn't make it to the Fair Friday. It was pouring rain and the forecast didn't show much promise that it would get better. We went out to a neighboring town [Princeton], had a good brunch and visited the Rock Shop. We all bought a piece of the Earth from somewhere. I bought a stone of lapis lazuli. I have heard of it all my life and have never seen any offered in a rock shop. An interesting little blue stone to go with our other interesting stones.
We couldn't go to the Fair on Saturday or Sunday because Naomi had to work. So, we are going today. It rained again last night, an inch and one half, but this time the forecast is for Sunny weather for most of the day.
I don't have anything to say that I haven't said many times. These are difficult times if we pay any attention to the mainstream media. The Cabal is desperate to whip up a war and the news of the world is very untrustworthy. On many fronts; climate, disease, national and world strife, the cabal, through the media, is attempting to create fear. We are best off ignoring the the mainstream media. It is possible to find trustworthy news on the internet, but it takes a lot of searching through dreck. Whatever we do it is important we don't scare ourselves.
This period won't last and we will get through it all right. We are on the verge of a new world. The light has eclipsed the dark. Soon the dark will be only a memory. It will be easier to get through this period if we remember a few things. Look for light and love in everything. Remember all of us are needed to intensify the light. Know that we are creators, and as such, we increase what we focus on. When we find ourselves focusing on a dark issue, we can say to ourselves, "these are not my thoughts" and switch our thoughts to something loving. With practice we can keep our mind out of the gutter of fear thoughts.
I need to cut this short as I have dishes to do, and a few other chores, before we head for the fair. Let us keep blessing the world and holding our light high for all to see.
Happy Labor Day!
Love and Peace, Gregg
