BE ALERT BUT HAVE NO FEAR

It's been a perfect Morning. I am late getting started. I have been sitting here looking out the North room window. It is a picture, framing a magnificent world. I watch monarchs and other butterflies float by; dragon flies dart by, and the sheep trudge and munch their way through the pasture, turned wild meadow. A chicken's cackling, periodically, gets me up to see if something is wrong. Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between the joyful cackle saying, " I laid an egg" and the hysterical call that says "I see a hawk". It is especially difficult when a couple other hens and a rooster join in on the egg celebration.

As I mentioned last week, we lost a rooster to an unknown predator, I suspect a fox. Then two days later we lost a White Orpington hen to a Red Tailed Hawk. Ironically, Red Tailed Hawks are one of my favorite birds. On Wednesday, I came in to the yard from the pasture, and I interrupted a Red Fox chasing the chickens. He or she was so intent on catching a squawking chicken, that it didn't hear me hollering, until I was very close. So, I am alert to potential dangers to my animals.

Yet, does it disturb the peace? No, one can be alert without being fearful. I don't think anything could disturb this beautiful Morning.

It is so beautiful and peaceful, I don't want to write anything. At this moment I have no trouble experiencing all creation, as love. I know if I turn on the radio, or look at certain web, sites I will see a world of pain and confusion. I know many folks are experiencing doubt and anguish. I know, I am no stranger to those feelings. I have learned to stay out of those cesspools of pain and anguish; sure, I trip and fall in once and awhile. But, as creative beings, we know, by now, that we create what we focus on. We don't want to perpetuate the crap.

Yes, we need to be alert and avoid fearfulness, we need to have trust in our ability to create a world of love. We are not alone, we are part of Source; we are being swept away in creation, as well as being creators. We can have trust in Source. Unconditional Love, can Will, only Love.

An important way, to maintain our peace, as the world collapses, is to focus on how we can be of service. Service is love. Service will bring peace to both the giver and receiver. The more we give, the more we have. Let us not stint in our giving. Everybody has had an inkling, that the world, will never be the same again; but many, just put their heads down, and go forward in their life, not really questioning what they are told. These folks will need reassurance that things will work out. They will need re-education. Folks will need help in having a new world view. Those, who haven't learned to garden, will need help. We will learn how to share with everybody around us.

Imagine a world where there is no profit motive in education, medicine, farming, transportation, entertainment etc. Imagine all work being accomplished because it is a loving service that one can contribute to the whole [One]. Imagine working for love, rather than profit. Many, many of us already do, and have been, all our lives.

Be alert; but have no fear. Big changes are coming.

Love and Peace,  Gregg
