It was 21 degrees F when I got up this Morning. I had to break the ice on the outside water buckets for the chickens. It is a quite a dramatic turn down in the weather and a reminder that Winter is coming.
Everything in the world and national economic news is going in the opposite direction of my prediction, Wednesday. In fact, quite pointedly so, as if to say, "I'll show you". Well, we won't know which way things are going until the first or second week in December. I will revisit the crystal ball then.
Halloween used to be one of my favorite Holidays. It has gradually faded. Where we live we rarely get Tricks or Treaters. Our friends, in this neighborhood, are not big celebrators of Halloween. My extended family is, and my Son, Stuart, has a great party every year. We live about 85 miles from them, which is a little too distant for an Evening party. We have a Grandson {Elijah 6} living with us, so we have some festivity. We will carve a pumpkin and of course, eat the candy that we bought for the Tricks and Treaters that didn't show up. There, presently, is only one family in our neighborhood who have young children. I am sure they will visit.
It is sometimes hard to rise above the negative vibrations of the world. Wow! The news can be awful. It is a spectacular waste of energy paying attention to the fear and negativity, rampant in the world. We can let go of it as soon as we are aware of it entering our mind. We are needed to shine the light. What we focus on will grow. We need to focus on the love we find, as we go about our daily lives. With a little practice we can switch our minds in a loving direction no matter where we find them.
The bad news in the world causes a strain, it affects our personal relationships. It can cause tension and arguments where none would exist. Any percentage of attention we give to the negative vibrations will drain our energy. We need to rise above it. We need to remember that love is the only solution for everything.
It is turning into a beautiful day. The Sun is shining brightly. Let us celebrate! Let us create a most fantastic day! Look for the Love. All is love.
I need to go to town and buy a pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern.

PREDICTIONS
Despite the fact that our mentors tell us our salvation lies in keeping our minds focused on the moment, we like to see if we can peer into the crystal ball, now and again.
As I mentioned in an earlier blog, I am a world watcher. I have been observing the national and world economic system teetering on the brink for a long time. Forty years ago it looked like it was on the verge of collapse. It has become a joke among some of my friends. We have been expecting some kind of financial disaster for so long it has become a source of amusement. The numbers have not added up for a long time, and it has been especially shaky, since Nixon removed us from the last vestiges of the gold standard. Since then, we have proven that fiat money can work. Or have we? Forty years is not a long time.
Anyone can find a prediction that agrees with them; you want it to stay the course, there are plenty of those predictions. Do you want the stock market to go through the roof? There are those, too. Are you expecting a collapse? There are many of those.
I weed out those that have written a book and are sticking to their preconceived ideas. I ignore those that are heavily ideological. I don't give much weight to the doomsayers and the fire and brimstone folks.
Then there are the people who are just fascinated by political economics. They don't seem to have an agenda, they share what they are seeing. I don't know that I am qualified to say there is a consensus, but there are a few major points they are making.
The U.S. is essentially bankrupt. The big banks still have trillions of dollars in bad paper that can't be redeemed. The Fed has been funneling billions a week to prop them up. This supposed stimulation has only stimulated the Wall Street gambling casino and has not aided the economy as we experience it. The last vestige for support for the dollar is oil. When the oil producing countries stop insisting on dollars [this has begun] the dollar will begin its collapse on the world market.
The real wealth of any economic system is the labor of the people. Labor has been outsourced to China and the third world.
Fiat money works fine until faith in it starts to waver. As long as the issuer, whether it be a bank or government, seems to have the resources and willingness to back it up, nobody questions it. The first attack to the credibility of a countries money, is when creditors demand, something other than a monetary instrument, to settle debts or for trade.
The United States government, nor its big banks, have a sizable amount of precious metals.
Gold and other precious metals have been flowing to China, Russia and elsewhere for several years.
Europe is, also, shaky, they are heavily indebted to the World Bank and are more in need of rescue than being in the role of rescuer.
The United States is heavily indebted to China, Japan and others. Will they keep accepting our paper? Where is the breaking Point?
The BRICS nations, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are forming their own bank. They are creating a monetary system that stands alone, separate from the The Fed and the World Bank. They have enough gold to issue a new monetary unit based on gold.
These are a few of the factors I could list. I am sure I left out several equally important items.
The rumblings, that appear right now, imply that the world economic system is about to hit a brick wall. The dollar will collapse and there will be a short period of world wide deflation. The world's currencies will be reset led by the issuance of a gold backed currency from the BRICS nations.
I don't know if any if this will happen. If it does it will be good. It will signal the end, of the dominance of the cabal, and the ushering in of a new age.
I just thought I would share what I have been reading and hearing. Our salvation remains in keeping our attention focused on the moment. We need to find happiness in our day to day activities and love every moment.
Let us keep holding our light high. Imagine the world of love emerging.

ONENESS A REALITY
What does Oneness really mean? It doesn't come up in dinner conversation very often. I have had conversations about the concept of oneness in social situations. It seems to be a nice philosophical concept, but I don't get the feeling of reality. Perhaps, it is difficult, in our illusion of separateness, to really appreciate it.
Let us examine the concept. If we are, in actuality, totally connected and just pretending to be separate, what does that mean? At the most basic level, it means, that anything we do to another we do to ourselves. When we poke pins in our neighbor, we poke pins in ourselves. The pins can be judgements, scorn, bad mouthing, neglect, anger, jealousy, attacks of any kind; pretty obvious, isn't it?
The admonitions "love your neighbor as yourself" and "do unto others, as you would want others to do unto you" make perfect sense don't they. So, we must have been thinking, these were just nice admonitions and not something, our very survival depended on.
And, of course, our very survival does depend on it. We can't destroy each other with the idea we are helping ourselves, can we? We can't protect ourselves by going around the world killing people with drones, can we? We can't let disease and starvation ravage peoples around the world while believing we are safe, can we? We can't keep imprisoning those, who have difficulty fitting in, and believing we are free, can we? There is no end to these speculations, is there?
Hey! This is not a philosophical concept, this is a reality; we are One.
Let's look at our own lives. How do your feelings affect others? Can you be happy when your wife, husband, child or best friend is miserable? You can try, and you should, because you want to bring them up, not join them in their pit; but, it does affect you, one way or another.
Everything we feel, think and do affects everyone else. ALWAYS! No exception; it can be subtle or great, positive or negative. It always happens.
This is a powerful concept. It may seem overwhelming to us, at first glance, but it is actually freeing. It is as simple as loving ourselves. Love is not special. Love cannot be confined. Love has to be extended.
One cannot love themselves without loving everyone. The exclusive focus on self, is not love. It never really satisfies and becomes an addiction of self-indulgence. One cannot stuff enough into self to be satisfied. The ego has no saturation point. Loving ourselves, always means, we love everyone else, and visa versa.
If we are conscious of our oneness, we want to be of service. We don't have to be overly concerned about this. Loving service is actually automatic. If you embrace love, whether you are an artist, scientist, teacher, architect, athlete, window washer, farmer, road builder, whatever, your contribution will be to the greater good, as well as yourself.
By understanding Oneness we, change the world. We know if we are kind and gentle with ourselves, we will be kind and gentle with our neighbor. We know that if we just have good thoughts about ourselves we will be blessing the world. We know, that when we bring love and peace to our own hearts, we raise the consciousness of everyone.
When we know we are One, there can be no more war. There can be no more famine. There can be no more poverty or neglect. No more prejudice or disregard for any part of humanity. Peace and joy will reign on the Earth. We will begin to appreciate the loving beings we are.
Let's go for it!

UPS AND DOWNS
So far we have had a beautiful October and the forecast looks good for the rest of the month. We haven't finished working on the new chicken coop and potatoes still need digging. Hopefully, we will get our Fall chores done before inclement weather sets in.
Generalities are generalities and often they belie specifics. When I was talking about The Church in Wednesday's blog, I believe my comments to be accurate, concerning the overall impact, in the last two thousand years. This, of course, is for the church as an institutional entity. There has always been, and are now, priest/ministers and congregations who try to break out of the negative controlling mode and teach only love as the truth. There are great things these groups do; many are dedicated towards bringing peace and love to the world.
However, the old model of religion most pass. Any idea that one group has the truth, and one must join them to be saved, must be over. We need to give up all our ideas that cause divisiveness. We must embrace Oneness. We must see all humanity as One. We can experience the truth of this at an individual level. We will realize that, what we do to any other, we do to ourselves. It is obvious right now in our personal life.
As individuals, and as a world community, we can't escape the awareness that every thought and deed affects everyone.
We have our ups and downs. We have periods of hope where things seem to be getting better and then our hopes are dashed, by some idiocy, whether it be in our personal life, or on the world stage.
We are not getting any help from the main stream media, in seeing that things are getting better. Sometimes we have only faith to hang on to. We do need help in getting through the ups and downs of life. It helps greatly to find time, at least twice a day, to meditate or find that quiet place inside, however we do it.
While we are in that quiet place, we get a glimpse of Oneness. Our egos are suspended; we can experience the peace from where all good comes from.
As long as our egos have a major influence on our lives, we will be vulnerable, to reacting inappropriately, to a threat from another. In our intimate and family relationships, this will continue until we can see when our ego light comes on and realize we can't see correctly. We will learn to cease our reacting.
There will be turmoil in our personal lives and on the world stage for a little while to come. Let us not lose hope. The Earth is being inundated with Love. Let us sit and find our quiet place. Let us bathe ourselves in Love. Our guides and our teachers are here. They are eager to help. Let us open ourselves to the help that is here.

WORLD WATCHER
It looks like we are in for a stretch of nice autumnal weather. It will be in the sixties tomorrow. It has been very pleasant these last couple weeks. Sunday we had family party; all six of my children were in attendance and six of my eight grand kids. You know you are getting old when two of your grand kids have lives of their own. It has not been usual for all six of my children to be together, Noah has been in California for several years. I guess it is not that unusual, as he has visited at least once a year; but it is different having them all living in the same area [twin cities]. We had a great time and we sat by the fire in the evening. We had a good hot campfire, and we needed it, as it got down to 35F.
I am a world watcher. I don't watch the news on television, but I do read the paper, daily and read a news magazine. To paraphrase Lincoln, some of these periodicals are so respectful of the truth that they use it very sparingly. I generally can discern the kernels of truth from the chaff. At least, I hope I can. The propaganda is being laid out thick and this being an election year makes it worse.
The main stream media is dedicated to propping up the status quo. The collapse of our institutions is not focused on. Yes, they love scandal, whether it be in the church or politics, but they stay away from looking at how the very foundations of our institutions are rotten.
Instead of giving us spiritual guidance and helping us live a more fulfilling life, the church has been our tormentor. It has taught us that we are inadequate and incomplete without them. Without them, we are damned to torment; what kind of message of love and freedom is that? In essence, the church has acted as controllers.
The constitution of the United States outlines a government that could be great. The principles of the constitution have been shitcanned many years ago and we are now governed by politicians, who have largely sold their souls to the corporate managers. Many of them go into politics with the idea they can make a difference, but they run into the shadow government, then they have to shout the truth from the roof tops and take the risk of being marginalized or they find a way to go along.
Our educational system seems to be more dedicated to raising slaves for the corporate tyrants than to educate free, loving, fully functioning people. Most folks who get advanced degrees are in debt slavery for many years.
I have talked about the monetary system before. It is bankrupt and has been on life support for months. It is a snake eating its tail and cannot last long.
Hey! I didn't mean this to be a rant and I don't mean it to be dark. My point is, the old world is collapsing and I am watching the world to observe the collapse and the beginning, of the bright light, of the new world, that is emerging.
It, truly is, darkest before the dawn. The MSM does not show the emerging light. It is there. Folks all over the world are waking up. They are demanding to be treated with love and respect. They know they have been manipulated and misused for centuries. They won't have anymore of it. They now see clearly that humankind can live in peace. Without the manipulations of the controllers, we love each other and we are eager to embrace all humanity with love.
We are all created as equal, loving beings. We insist that we are free beings. We insist that the Earth and the Universe be seen as the source of unconditional love for all.
We are not afraid and we will reject all invitations to embrace fear. Love is our guidance. Love is our essence. We can only see Love.
Let us feel the embrace of a loving universe and watch the New World emerge.

HAPPINESS-OUR CHOICE
The title might be irritating to some folks. I read, many years ago, that happiness was our choice. I never doubted it intellectually, that didn't keep it from being irritating, however. Knowing it is true and learning it is true are different things. It doesn't seem true, when we are in the depth of despair. It doesn't seem true, when all the world is against us. None the less, it is true. We can decide to be happy.
Happiness is our natural state. We had to learn to be unhappy in an imperfect world. We learn to be unhappy for various reasons. The most prevalent one is; we feel we don't deserve it. Everything about our culture teaches us we are unworthy and must somehow earn happiness. In our recent culture, this has been intertwined with money. It is pounded into our heads that we need money to be happy. Everything is monetized and happiness must be bought.
Another thing is we have a profoundly passive-aggressive thread running through our society. We learn, when we are still toddlers, that we can get back at our parents, teachers and caregivers by being unhappy. Those adults are supposed to make us happy, they are failing at their job when we are morose. If for any reason, a more functional expression of our dissatisfaction is blocked, we can resort to being unhappy to punish those around us.
When we become adults, and gain some interpersonal sophistication, these mechanisms are buried; but, they don't disappear. We might be amazed at how many times we are unhappy because we are angry with someone. We automatically go in to this punishing mode without knowing it.
Both of these mechanisms, our sense of unworthiness and our need to get back at folks, get buried as adults. We certainly don't want to admit, we would be so childish, as to be unhappy to punish someone and we don't want to admit we feel unworthy. We all have developed an array of little triggers, that when pushed, set off one of these processes.
When we are unhappy we can generally find reasons to remain unhappy. In those moments, it is hard to believe we want to be unhappy. Yet, if we are willing to look honestly at ourselves, we will discover we did make the decision to be unhappy.
Each one of us has to make this discovery personally. It is our thing. It is our thoughts that trigger unhappiness. When we find that we are unhappy, we can look look at our thoughts; and ask ourselves. Do we need to be thinking like this? Do I want to think like this? What do I get out of being unhappy? Am I trying to punish someone? Myself? God?
When we are at the bottom of a pit, and only darkness can be seen, it is hard to believe that it is our choice. It might make us angry to suggest that it is our choice; yet, yet that is our freedom. That is our ticket out of the pit. From there, we can begin to search for light.
We are creative beings. We shape our perception. We can't escape the truth, that we create our experience with our thoughts. Happiness is always our choice.
Happiness is our natural state. Happiness promotes optimum body functioning. Happiness attracts happy thoughts. Happiness is contagious, it brings out the smiles in those around us.
The old world is collapsing around us. The fear mongers are doing all they can to keep us trapped in, fear induced, negative thinking. We don't need to pay attention to the horror they are trying to create. We need to keep our focus away from what the mainstream media would like us to think. What we think is our choice. What we create is our choice.
When we embrace love, happiness is. Happiness doesn't have to be raucous. Happiness is not loud. Happiness may be quiet; very quiet. Everything that is good comes from the deep peace of our being. From the deep peace of our being, we are creating the New World of Love. Let us be joyful. Let us be happy.
Love and Peace, Gregg

WHAT ARE WE SAYING TO OURSELVES?
I awoke to a cloudy day; although the Sun is trying to peak out now. It stayed fairly warm all night. I don't think it got below 50F. Last evening, we were able to sit on the porch until after Sundown. Warm evenings are rare this time of year.
I felt a little dull last night; not really radiating with happiness. What was I saying to myself? Was I criticizing myself for being judgmental? It is easy to catch ourselves when we are blatantly self-critical but more difficult when the feeling is like a wet blanket. Still, we are saying something to ourselves. Sometimes we might be critical because we are not particularly happy and we see no reason for unhappiness. That is a trick we can play on ourselves. If we ask ourselves if we are happy, we invite unhappiness. Always assume happiness. The opposite is obvious.
We want to evolve. We know where we are going. We know paradise beckons. As we get more sophisticated, the self imposed, attacks on our self esteem become more subtle. They can begin as little niggly things in our consciousness and then have real consequences.
Yes, we know we want to evolve, but in some ways we hold ourselves back. Change can be scarey. We know we want to be unconditionally loving beings but, but...................
We need to look at it differently. We are not evolving, in the sense, that we are changing into something new. We are discovering who we are already. We are already unconditionally loving beings. We are perceptually, creative beings who made an illusion, so real to us, that we can't easily find a way out.
So we are not trying to be unconditionally loving beings. We are already. We just need to give up the act we developed in the illusion. When we divest ourselves of everything that is not love, we are who we really are. We don't have to achieve anything, we just need to give up our dreck.
We are so used to the disguise, that we developed for the illusion, that we panic a little when we find it slipping. And it is slipping. it is dissolving in the love that surrounds us and emanates from us.
We will give up all that is holding us back. We don't need to concern ourselves with our ultimate goal. We will succeed. Time is the only factor. How long our we willing to suffer the illusion? How long are we willing to mess around in this uncertain world? How long are we willing to say negative things to ourselves?
Keeping two things in mind helps: one; we are unconditionally loving beings of light, two; we are One. When we pay attention to what we say to ourselves, these guidelines are helpful. Let us not say anything to ourselves that we wouldn't say to an unconditionally loving person. And remember that whatever we say to ourselves, we are saying to the whole. So, we raise the consciousness of all when we say positive things to ourselves. Perhaps, we should mention a third thing; keep in mind, this is our responsibility. It is not a matter of blame, duty or burden, but simply our responsibility. We are responsible for discovering and acting upon who are; loving and creative beings of the Universe.
And/also, loving beings don't take themselves so seriously. They don't have to- they know everything is perfect. Celebrate, dance, sing- have a great belly laugh!
Happy Friday!

SEEING
It is another beautiful Morning on Planet Earth. I was half way through my Morning chores when I realized it. I walked out to let the young chickens out, then I walked over to the main coop and let the old biddies [about thirty] and their three roosters out. It wasn't until I was on the way back that I realized what a marvelous day it was. I was paying attention to something in my head, I don't know what, I know it wasn't important.
When I awoke to my surroundings, I marveled at the carpet of red, orange, yellow, and green leaves I was walking through. There was hardly a breeze, yet the leaves of the Quaking Aspen were shaking quite vigorously. They are well named, their leaves will wave when there is no detectable breeze. We call them Popple. I think some people do so derisively. I don't. They are one of the first trees to repopulate the forest after logging or a fire. They grow rapidly and I suppose some people think of them as weeds. I have read that they are the most numerous tree in North America. It is interesting how we sometimes can't appreciate something that is common and easy to raise, even when it is very beautiful and has high value.
I walk to the chicken coop at least three times everyday and, sometimes, more often. It is not unusual for me to traverse quite a distance before I realize I am not seeing. Of course, 'seeing' is not just off and on. There are gradations. Preoccupation with our thoughts is the main thing that keeps us from seeing; but, anything that cast a haze over our vision affects our seeing. Depression, crabbiness, boredom and other moodiness will affect how well we can see.
Sometimes I wonder if we ever see what is really there. When we discuss reality and what is it; we always come back to perception. Every person seems to be their own perceptual device. We take what is [energy?] and form it into something familiar. We agree on shapes, sizes, colors, etc. But do we see the same thing?
We all have had the experience of seeing the same event or thing completely differently, at different times, depending on an experience. We perceive according to, what is in our mind, at any given time. Sometimes the difference is subtle, but sometimes it is huge.
I try to catch myself, whenever I am outside, and I am paying attention to what is in my mind and not my Natural surroundings. It seems, going outside, demands clarity. Am I more locked into the familiar when I am inside? Do I see what I expect to see? Am I so accepting of usual form and color that I am blind to any variability? I am not sure. I know I have had moments, where I seem to see everything with fresh eyes; like seeing everything for the first time. I remember coming back from vacation, and on entering the house, being startled by seeing how differently things looked {always in a positive direction}.
How will we see, when we can finally put a stop to the clutter in our minds? We get a glimmer of that now. What if we could sustain it for hours? Days? Can we imagine seeing everything with love? Always?
The world is so beautiful when we see it without thought [judgement]. The thoughts that occupy our minds are generally some form of judgement or/and evaluation. We see through this filter, a foggy filter, indeed.
We won't know how incredibly beautiful the world is until we can see it anew. We are learning to do that. As we catch ourselves, more and more, thinking about the past and the future and return our focus to the present moment, we begin to 'see'. We see with startling clarity that everything is Love. Look how beautiful our World is!

JUDGEMENT
I awoke this Morning and it was dim. I thought, "I can't get up until the Sun comes over the rim of the Earth". I rolled over and looked at the clock, it was getting close to eight o'clock. It has been bright and sparkling these last few days. I wasn't prepared for such a heavy overcast. Yet, it is not dismal; rather it is kind of cozy. It is a Morning for curling up with a nice cup of coffee and a good read.
It is a good Morning to sit at the computer and write a bog, too; and I do have a nice cup of coffee at my elbow.
Off and on, this weekend, I thought about writing about judgement. I am in the midst of trying to understand why we have such a hard time giving up judgement. In part it is because we have trained our left brain to evaluate, evaluate, evaluate and it is easy for evaluation to slip into judgement. We have been trained to see things as good or bad; better or worse. Whether evaluation itself is necessary, is a topic for another time; and it is not, the judging, of what is useful or not, that is a concern. We are concerned with the judging of each other and ourselves.
Our teachers, The Great Ones, have implored us not to judge. They have emphasized we can't judge, because we can never see the whole picture. Judgement prevents us from seeing oneness. Judgement keeps us locked into our singularity. More pertinently, judgement causes us pain. We may not realize it, but when we judge others we condemn ourselves.
Most of us have accepted these concepts and endeavor not to judge. Yet, we find it difficult not to. Our mentors tell us we can rise above judgement and that seems to work sometimes. We might be aware that someone is judging us and not react. We might be able to see where they're coming from and realize their judgement is a comment on themselves and not us. Other times, not so much.
Other times we feel a judgement and we feel a twinge or sometimes we even erupt. What is going on? Could it be that their judgement placed a finger on a sore spot? Could it be that we judge ourselves for the very thing we were being judged about? Hmmmm.......what do you think?
It is an axiom, that we judge others for the flaws we think we have in ourselves. It seems to be also true, that we react to others' judgements, in direct proportion, to how true, we are afraid, the judgement might be.
So, how do we rise above judgement. As long as we are on Planet Earth we are going to have some friends, relatives, associates etc. who have yet to give up judging. If we can rise above that judgement floor, we can see their judgements, as a call for love. Yet, most of us still have sore spots, ourselves. We still are struggling with giving up our own judgements. Sometimes the faults in others still seem glaring to us. What do we do?
It all begins with ourselves. If we have intent to solve this dilemma, we shall. Love will be there. Love will help. We solve the problem, not by struggling to give up judgement of others, but by giving up judgment of ourselves. When we give up judging ourselves, it won't occur to us, to judge others.
Is it a paradox to see ourselves as perfectly flawed? Can we be perfect and flawed, too? I don't think it matters. We can fall in love with ourselves because we are love. Beneath all this struggle, is a being who wants, what is best for everyone. We are beings who want to love wholly, without reservation. Despite the veneer of ego that obfuscates our vision, we know everything is perfect.
It seems to me, if we stay on the course of love, if we remind ourselves everyday that we are beings of Love, stick with the intent to give up judging ourselves, this problem has to resolve itself. Let us remind ourselves, that when we judge ourselves, we judge everybody, including the One who created us. We are One.

CHANGING SEASONS
It has been freezing most nights for a week now. Monday, I saw a flock of Slate Colored Juncos. They raise their youngsters way up North and spend the Winter in regions like Minnesota. [Can you imagine Minnesota as a place to spend your Winters?] The lore is that, when they appear, snow will follow in two weeks. That particular myth may have its origins with me. Several years ago, I told a colleague, where I worked, that the Slate Colored Juncos had arrived so that Winter could not be far behind. A couple years later she said, " Just as you told me, I saw the Juncos arrive two weeks ago and today its snowing". Since then I have been observing every year and generally some form of snowfall occurs within two weeks of their arrival. If it happens again this year, I hope it warms up again. I am wishing for a long Autumnal Season.
Like the Seasons, our world is going through rapid change. A month ago we were being told that the crises in the Ukraine may lead to war. For at least two weeks news from the Ukraine was splashed on the front pages, now one has to dig deep into the newspaper to find anything about it. Then ISIS raised its ugly head and now, it too, is fading from the front page. Then Ebola hit the front pages, but as people learn the truth, that it is not an airborne virus, but is transferred by body fluids, that too, will find its way to the back pages; probably, swept off by a new scare.
Yes, there will be wave after wave of new scares until the media is free from the grip of those in control. Meanwhile the news, that has been suppressed, is coming out and some of that, is not too pleasant, either. We need to know enough to free our minds from the old propaganda; but that is it. We must not wallow in the darkness. There is a real temptation to look at just how bad things were and could be, that is not good for most of us. We are needed to shine our light on the world. We need to let the love flow through us unimpeded.
It is time to focus on our own individual awakening. It is time to see, only the love in the world. That is what real Seeing is. It is seeing what really is. It is seeing the world without the 3rd dimensional judgements. We are beings of light that got trapped in this density, partly because of our intrepid willingness to experiment and experience. And that part is great. Our error was to turn away from Love and to attempt creation without love. Wow! It has been painful.
We are beginning to fall in love with ourselves again. As we accept that we are loving beings, we will rise above any others' evaluation of us. Other peoples criticisms, reactions, comments will be seen as their need to love and not as a comment on ourselves. That is freedom, and we will be free to answer their call for love [that is what their criticism is] with a beam of light.
Remember that fear is the absence of love and fear has been used to manipulate us for thirteen thousand years. That time is over. We have entered into a new era. The cabal still cast a long shadow of darkness, but the light is shining it away. The best recommendation to give ourselves, is to reject any message that has fear in it. If we see a tiger staring at us through the keyhole that is one thing; if we just hear a rumor that a tiger is in the neighborhood, it is probably not true. Let us stay in the present moment, we are surrounded by love, I don't think we will see any tigers.
Light up the world! Celebrate!
Happy Friday!

LETTING GO
I awoke to another amazing autumnal day. There was a mild frost last night, but it is warming up nicely. The Sun is brilliant, the air is fresh and clear; another beautiful day, on this place, on planet Earth.
My ego light went on last night. I got my feelings hurt about something inconsequential. At the time I didn't think of it as hurt feelings; I am more likely to feel abandonment or betrayal. Recognizing hurt feelings and owning them can prevent what happens next. Jamie and I are a team, when one of us jumps off the sanity cliff, the other is happy to follow. I won't bore you with the details. They are mundane, silly and indeed boring.
It is kind of a shock when these things happen. Everything is going along fine and suddenly we are in a rip-roaring fight. I just wanted to indulge my little complaint to a willing audience. That is hardly going to work when the complaint contains, not so hidden, blame. Oh well, another day of learning on Laughing Water Farm.
Why do these things happen? Especially when the light is pouring down on Earth and we are on the threshold of a New World. The world we are about to enter is a world of love. We can't perceive this New World when we still hang on to judgements, ideas, concepts, expectations etc. that are not loving. In other words, we need to give up all our crap.
We want to live in a world where everybody loves everybody else. Where do you think that starts? If I loved myself completely, my feelings would not have been hurt. If I loved myself completely, I would not have harbored the judgement [that attracted the thought] that instigated my complaint. In close relationships, it is difficult for the other person not to jump off the sanity cliff too, because they will see the complaint as our betrayal.
We are all on a voyage of enlightenment. It seems paradoxical, that the love that is pouring down on Earth could cause problems for us. However, to get on board with the awakening, we need to become aware of how we are limiting the love we feel and express, by the nonsense in our minds. We need to elevate ourselves, that means giving up all that low self esteem stuff we have been imbued with. We, all, know what we need to do. Sometimes we are not sure, how.
When we made the intent to awaken, we got on the train. It will carry us to paradise. We have to keep in mind that the truth is worth any of the brambles we go through. We don't have to fight and squabble to see what we need to give up on our journey. Every person is going to develop their own way of seeing and giving up their limitations.
When we keep in mind that we are giving up, in ourselves, what is not love, it will be easier. Also, remember that love is always the solution. We are going to slip. Self criticism and even self evaluation is not warranted. Self evaluation is important to the extent that it is couched in love and is an honest evaluation; often, it is criticism is disguise.
It cannot be stressed enough, that love is always the solution. Any time we separate from love, we are insane. We recover by reopening the channels to love. It is essentially remembering, that we are loved, unconditionally, by Source. When we discover we are insane, we need to forgive ourselves and bless everybody, our insanity touched.
It is very helpful if we give ourselves a break a few times a day. If we just sit and calm ourselves, quiet our minds, reach for the core of our being, feel the love emanating from ourselves and pouring down from the universe, we will find it uplifting. It is possible, to let the Love of Source, melt away all that is not loving. It is possible to learn to love yourself without going through the brambles. No matter how you do it, it is worth it. Love beckons, it leads us to paradise.
Love and Peace, Gregg
P.S. When I reread this I note the word FORGIVENESS needs to be stressed.

P.S. When I reread this I note the word FORGIVENESS needs to be stressed.

TWO WORLDS
It is a gorgeous morning. Autumn is such an amazing season. It has been cold these last few nights. Must have been in the upper 20s Fahrenheit last night. It was thirty when I first looked at the thermometer and the Sun had already been shining brightly for over an hour. The colors are stunning. I think this has been the most colorful Fall in many years. The frost, these last few nights, has all but ended our gardening season. We still have broccoli and Brussels sprouts will continue to develop for at least another month. Of course, that is assuming the usual progression of the season. We need to have Sunny, above freezing, daytime weather for anything to continue. Potatoes need to be dug. It is an unplanned tradition, here on Laughing Water Farm, to dig potatoes in the most miserable weather possible. We like doing it, but we seem to put it off until the weather forecast demands we do it; then it is sleeting or there is a nasty cold wind. Potatoes seem to keep better when dug late.
We live in illusions created by our perceptions. There seems to be two worlds existing side by side. If we are immersed in the main stream media, we live in a world of Ebola, ISIS, war, threats to our security and happiness from every quarter. There seems to be no escape from a dismal future for mankind. Every means, to create fear in the people, is being used by those who would like to stay in control. People, who are afraid, are easy to manipulate and control. Fortunes can be made from frightened people.
Those who have turned away from the main stream media, and look to each other for entertainment, and get their news from alternative sources, see a different world indeed. They see folks brimming over with good cheer. They see love shining from the eyes of the people they meet. They sense the rising of the consciousness around them. They know we are on the verge of a great breakthrough; fear and all its ugly creations will be a distant memory.
When we realize our world is our creation. When we know our perception is everything; why would we want to look at ugliness? Why would we want to contaminate our perception with the fears of that passing world? We won't. We will ignore the MSM. Let them rant and rave and wave their fear provoking memes. We will create our own world by focusing on love. Without attention, that world, will dry up and blow away, in the Love, that is sweeping the planet.
The old world won't last much longer. Let us not give it any attention. It will shrivel without our notice. Let us see only with eyes of love. Sure, we are not finished going through our little trials and tribulations. We need to do this to let go of everything that is not love. Even when we are weighed down with troubles we can choose to turn our attention to love. Intention is very powerful, when we intend to be loving, we draw love, to us; even when we are temporarily in the dark. Let us keep up our intent to see the light.
Many us have been holding the light high as individuals, perhaps it is time to be more connected. I am referring to a conscious connection. Of course we are already connected as we are one. I think that consciously joining together will create more powerfully, bringing the perception of paradise to everyone sooner.

NEW CHICKEN COOP
We have been planning to convert our goat barn into a chicken coop this Summer. Our present chicken coop is 100 yards from the house and these last few Winters have not been fun. We have been getting milk from the Amish and Jamie has been making cheese from cow's milk. We have been milking goats for over forty years and we are going to take a break from it.
We picked a day, a month ago, for my Son Matt to come up and help. Our Son Noah is staying with us now and between them they can get the job done. Of course, we hoped for good weather and instead we have the coldest, windiest, drizzliest, day of the Season. Then a moment ago a person called who wants our last goat. He is a year and half old buck who hasn't been handled much; he will be fun to catch.
The major work in the new chicken coop will consist of insulating and building nest boxes and roosts.
I got to go help.
We will meet again on Monday.

RELATIONSHIP WITH SELF
The most important relationship we have is the one with ourselves. This is a subject with many different facets. Remember I am a student like you are; we are learning together. What I am discovering is that how we feel about ourselves, in any moment, affects how we feel about and treat all others. We can only love others to the extent we can love ourselves.
In order to love ourselves we need to unlearn all the negative programming that we experienced since leaving the womb. As I pointed out in my last blog, we don't need a therapist couch to accomplish this. All is in our minds. How do we think and feel about ourselves? It has been said that there are no neutral thoughts. I cannot argue the truth of this, but it is a useful working hypothesis. We can look at each thought, we have about ourselves, and ask "is this thought helpful?"
Whether a thought originates in ourselves or comes from outside [if there really is an outside] it is loving or it is fearful. Some of us have learned to catch ourselves when we have negative thoughts about others and have become quite efficient at being non-judgmental. Yet we will allow a negative interpretation of our own behavior and think we are just being honest. We will whip ourselves with switches, figuratively, for some transgression. If it is not okay to judge another, it is not okay to do it to ourselves. We must stop it. Sure, we see with clarity, there are places, in which we need to grow, but we don't need to beat ourselves up over it.
This is an area where the concept of oneness is important. We are One. Separation only exist in this illusion. How we feel about ourselves affects everyone. When we put ourselves down, we put humanity down. We elevate the consciousness of humanity by raising our own consciousness. We are the ones awakening humanity, by awakening ourselves. We cannot contribute to the awakening while we are dragging ourselves down with negative thoughts and feelings.
I can hear someone thinking, "but I don't have negative thoughts about myself and I still don't feel good about myself". As I have said before the ego is tricky. It is not hard to develop blindness about how we see ourselves. Since we left the womb we inculcated others feelings and attitudes; they are like dark clouds that form layers at the bottom of our psyches. They attract negative thoughts and experiences to us. No matter how dark this matter seems to be, it cannot stand up to love. When we have the courage to look into ourselves we can say to each layer, "that is not me" "I am a being of love. I will not harbor darkness" Love will wash away the darkness and if we continue to focus on love it will not come back.
Affirmations are very valuable in washing away the darkness and keeping it away. They are very personal, however, what works for me might sound silly to you. Reminding ourselves that we are love and we love ourselves is very valuable. We might develop a habit of looking in the mirror every Morning and tell ourselves how much we love ourselves.
Loving ourselves is not self-centeredness. Focus on self comes from fear. People who are self-centered are afraid they don't measure up. The doubts they have about themselves create separation and exaggerated focus on self. Love goes out. It expands. The more you love yourself the more your love flows to all.
Remember that Love is reality. Fear creates illusion. Life on this planet is a constant choice between love and fear. It all begins in our mind.
We need to spend as much time, as we can, in quiet time. The core of our being is unconditional love. If we learn to be quiet, and let our thoughts go, we can feel the love embracing us; reassuring us that we are indeed love. We can go through our whole day, with the knowledge, that we are in the embrace of a loving universe, and we are one with it.
Let's not forget to laugh at ourselves. Great belly laughs. Life on this planet is nothing, if not amusing.
