It is a beautiful Morning. It is cool but not cold. It is Sunny and there is a slight breeze. A perfect day for weeding the garden and other outside chores. I still have my gladiolas to plant. I have to get them, in this week, if I want to be sure they bloom before an early frost. I have had some of the bulbs for thirty years, last year they didn't do too well, and actually got smaller. I let them get too weedy and didn't water them when it was crucial. Oh well, perfection eludes me. I need to buy a few more bulbs. I, also, need to get my amaryllis in the ground.
On our individual paths and our collective path, we are going to have bumps. On Wednesday, I stressed the importance of forgiveness in our ongoing relationships with each other. We will, also, experience bumps on our collective path as our society readjust. We can see how everything has to change. We cannot permit banks and corporations to rule over us anymore. Capitalism, as we now know it, has to end. None of the systems, that operate in society now, can continue without major adjustments. Our motives must be creativity and service. Profit, as the primary motivator, has to end.
If we can look at the world and imagine, love as the major motivator, for all actions and decision making, we can see what needs to change.
As a collective, we are not that far from making the necessary attitudinal changes. Most of us, already want to do our jobs in the most loving way possible. We are not greedy. We just want to be comfortable and happy. We are much closer to a loving, peaceful world than we know.
The dark still controls the media, so we don't realize how much progress we have made. It is hard to imagine the end of conflict and violence, when the media plays up all the negative that occurs in the world, and ignores most the signs of peace.
So, there will be bumps in the road as our institutions adjust to the new paradigm.
Then there is our Mother Earth. We need to listen to her and ask her how we can help. We need to see her as a living being; perhaps, a community of beings, making up a whole. The Earth needs to restore herself to her pristine condition. We need to be part of this. We need to learn how to remove the poisons from the soil and water. The Earth has amazing healing abilities, but she needs help.
The geologic history of the Earth indicates there have been many sudden, as well as gradual, changes. Those folks, who are interested, can easily access web sites that follow the volcanic and seismic activities. Volcanoes and earthquakes are cranking up. Some adjustments in North America are overdue. We are likely to experience more activity in California and on the New Madrid fault. Fear and apprehension are not things to indulge; but we must be aware, that our Mother, might have to sneeze and belch now and again.
We need to love our Mother with all our might. Listen to Her. Take care of her. Stop our crazy exploitations. Keep in mind, always, She is a living being. If we live with the rhythm of Nature we will know when we need to move or otherwise protect ourselves. There will always be some folks who will choose to experience a geologic event for reasons of their own.
Everything is unfolding perfectly. Everything is as it should be.
