"I ain't the man I never used to be." I am late getting started. I had to run to the post office this Morning and decided to go to the feed store to combine trips. I just unloaded six sacks of feed [4-75 pounders and 2- 100s] and put them away in the chicken house. Every time I am finished with this chore, I think, "Well, I can still do it." Picking a 75 or 100 pound sack off the floor, and dumping it into the feed can, is getting to be at the edge of my ability.
I like waking up in the Morning and feel that deep sense of peace. The feeling that all is well. It is being in love with life. It didn't happen this Morning. It wasn't a bad Morning. Everything seemed a little off. Like the entity, in charge of orchestrating my life, was having a day off. For instance, I just came in the house, after unloading the feed, Jamie was standing in front of a kitchen appliance, that was humming a long; I said something and startled her to the brink of her grave.
Even when we have a rough start, we can elevate our consciousness. Have you ever noticed, that sometimes we like to wallow in less than a good mood. We like the range of our emotions, and we have to admit, that sometimes, we can enjoy the most sourest.
I am not going to do that today. After finishing that last paragraph, I sat back in my chair and connected with a deep sense of peace, that seemed to arise around me. I know that peace is always available to me. With peace, arises thankfulness. Thankfulness, brings a glow of love.
The good news is: we are the entity that orchestrates our life. We know when we are allowing a negative vibration into our lives and we can do something about it. It is relatively easy, to stop what we are doing and look around us. We can find thankfulness in almost everything our eyes fall on. The cup of coffee at our elbow. That tall glass of water waiting for us. The air wafting in the window. When we look out the window we may see the lushness of Nature. We have flowers blooming in the gardens, and this time of year, the world is bursting with new growth.
Speaking of growth, I have grass to mow and some other chores to do. I will have more to say about keeping our consciousness elevated.
Happy Friday.
Love and Peace, Gregg
