THE PAST

This could be a short blog as I am just getting started and the Morning is almost gone. I spent about an hour and a half, sometimes reading things on the internet, but mostly just staring into space, wondering what I had to write about. Then Jamie and I, got into a conversation, about the psycho-dynamics, of certain experiences we had. We might have made a little headway.

People seem to keep re-creating the same experience, over and over again, until they learn what they need to learn, to move on. We are in a hurry to move higher, and get out of this low density. In order to reach a higher vibration, we must learn to give up old ways of thinking and feeling.

Everybody has a different set of things they are trying to learn. For me, it is learning not to react, when I am confronted with the emotions, of someone close to me. I rarely have a problem with friends or acquaintances. [Or perhaps, you would need to ask them.] It is more likely to happen with family members. I can react with an emotional outburst, saying things that I regret. At the time, I may feel I am being perfectly logical; or at least, logically defensive. I am getting better, but it is like wearing away a stone.

These struggles we have, with our evolution, have to do with the past. They may arise from a sense of inadequacy, unworthiness, or unresolved anger. They can be well hidden from our everyday conscious mind and are expressed only when triggered. The good news is, that the vibration of love that surrounds us is helping us greatly. The bad news is, that the vibration of love around us is helping us greatly. No, I didn't say the same thing by accident. The very energy that is lifting us up, is the energy, that is bringing the problems to the surface.

We want to be cleared of all those negative thoughts and feelings that are holding us back. Paradoxically, as the love increases around us, the greater turmoil we may feel in a some aspects of our lives.

It is often valuable to explore, i.e. psychotherapy, the origins of these negative feelings and thoughts; but there comes a time, when we must make a conscious choice, to put the past behind us. If we pay attention to our mind, we will notice the same quality of thought repeating itself in various forms. We can learn not to pay attention to the thought and we can just let it float by. Eventually, the frequency will attenuate if we don't add feeling to it. We can, also, remind ourselves several times a day, "The past, is past, and cannot touch me."

We are told by our mentors to live in the moment. We know, enough by now, to know that is where Freedom lies. That is where Love is. That is where Peace is. That is where we experience Vastness. That is where we experience Freedom from Fear.

I know its not easy [hey that's a song-isn't it?]. We have no choice. If we want to rise; we have to eliminate negativity from our lives. It is the same unlearning I talked about a hundred times before. We were [and still are] taught all kinds of garbage about our incompetence and unworthiness. We need to quit paying attention to any current source of that pollution. We need to look, to any groups or institutions we are associated with, and if they are in, anyway diminishing of our being, we must wave bye bye to them. But, most of all, we need to pay attention, to what we are saying to ourselves.

The moment is here. Let us jump in, the water is fine!

Happy Friday!

Love and Peace,  Gregg
