GUIDANCE

What is guidance? I see it as inspiration. A flash of intuition, perhaps. Whatever it is, we use it a lot. Writers and artist depend upon it. For them it is obvious. But we all do it. Whether planning a dinner party or the best way to dig a drainage ditch, we get guidance or flashes of intuition helping us proceed.

Where does this guidance come from? The answer depends on your orientation. Some would say the group mind. Some would say your higher self. Some would say your unconscious. Some would say a guardian angel. Does it Matter? We depend on this process much more than we realize. We have convinced ourselves that we use logic. Actually logic plays little part in our ongoing life. We go from moment to moment doing what we do. We continually make small decisions that decide the outcome of our day. Some are based on the past. Some are just what we always do. In a very few cases do we stop and evaluate something logically and more times than we realize we have an aha thought, a flash of intuition and we follow it.

What if we went through the day moment to moment making all these little decisions [many are so small you don't even know they are decisions] with Love. What if every time we remembered, we brought love to the surface and based our decision on what felt the most loving. What if every time we had an intuitive flash, we passed it through a love filter? A filter that felt out the most loving direction. What if in our moment to moment awareness, we became so practiced in remembering love, that love became the underlying guidance in both our logical and intuitive flashes?

Let us do it. Let us see what a world we could create!

We have a little excitement at our house today. We are planning an addition to our house 14X26 feet. Jamie's reasoning is that as we get older, we may require or at least desire a bathroom down stairs and we do need a better laundry setup and we can always use more library space. I concur, but it would not have occurred to me. Jamie is the one with the vision in these areas. I will begin my eightieth year on planet Earth on January 24th, I might not want to trudge upstairs to use the bathroom.

The excitement is the builders are coming today for a final look and do any necessary planning. They will have it all built and insulated before the doorways are cut into the existing structure. I say that because it seems late in the year to begin but actually it isn't. It won't take them long to get it up. They are going to construct the shell and insulate it and we will be doing much of the interior ourselves.

We are heading into a busy time. We have potatoes to dig, chickens to butcher, canning, and getting ready for the Winter.

Love and Peace,  Gregg
