We have been having a drought. The plants with deep roots, the trees and most bushes look fine; but farmer's fields are suffering, especially corn. Yesterday and this Morning it rained. We have received an inch so far. We are very grateful.
How do we deal with the disinformation coming from the main stream media. Until recently, I have pretty much ignored it all and treated it as BS. Now it appears that some truth may be leaking out, but it takes a great deal of discernment. It is probably best to continue ignoring it until we have a genuine sea change.
This Syria thing, for example, is especially confusing. I can find no evidence that the U.S. government knows the Syrian government is responsible for the gas attacks. Any investigation of what the U.S. knows, leads to secret information. How is that possible? If they are asking the people to go to war, they better tell us why. What could be secret? If Assad is responsible, then show us how. It would be cruel, ridiculous and pointless to bomb Syria anyway. The people would suffer not Assad. There is fairly conclusive evidence that a rebel group was responsible. We don't see mention of that in the MSM.
To complicate matters, the rumor is that the administration has no intention of bombing Syria. That it is all posturing. There have been attempts by factions in this country, backed by some Israeli factions, to paint Obama as a weak president. The purpose is to undercut him, to hamper him in his dealings on some upcoming emergency situations. The failure of the big banks for one. There are many important issues pending. I will discuss them in the future. A weak president woulds be easier to control. These factions didn't expect Obama to take a hard line on Syria; he thus took away their momentum.
By appearing determined and resolute Obama took away their issue, but then, he said he would seek congressional approval. He actually challenged congress to defy him. The house Republicans are itching for a chance to defy him and the sensible Democrats wouldn't go along with it. It looks to me that the motion will be defeated. If Obama really wanted it to pass, is this the way he would have handled it? I don't know. I am only speculating. We will all know soon.
Out of this whole fiasco comes the obvious fact, that we the people and I mean the people of the entire world, do not want any of it. We see the futility of trying to solve problems with violence of any kind, whether it be arms or rhetoric. It is just as easy to seek understanding as it is to react with violence. It is only a small faction that want war. Unfortunately, they still control the media. In terms, of percentage of the population, this group is teeny. They still hold sway over those who accept everything the MSM says. That group is getting smaller as people wake up and see what has been going on.
The war game is over. We won't support it. We know that when this faction quits fomenting divisiveness of all kinds, the people of the world will come together in love and cooperation. We do love each other. We know we love each other. We know it is the only way to be.
Celebrate Love. Celebrate Peace.
Love and Peace, Gregg
