Tomorrow is Global Belly Laugh Day. I don't know how it got its name, but it is an idea that I support. There is nothing like a good belly laugh to raise the vibration. Deep, soul felt laughter increases the light and helps lift us all.
Laughter washes away fear. Laughter brings us to the present moment. Laughter takes us out of our negativity. We could all use a good belly laugh.
Tomorrow is, also, my birthday. Eighty years on planet Earth; I can't believe it. Time flies when we are having fun. I don't know why I have looked forward to being eighty with such anticipation; but I have. Heh! I am finally grown up!
The thing that I see clearly, about being grown up, is that, we must release all fear thoughts from our mind. We create with fear or love and we are creators. I have been paying attention to how fear thoughts creep into the mind and take up residence. That is scarey. Fear thoughts can be very subtle. They can take the form of vague apprehensions and we don't realize we are entertaining them. These thoughts throw us into the future and rob us of the present moment.
I have discovered that we hang unto fear thoughts because we actually think they give us protection. We have a superstition, that what we are afraid of, won't happen. As we steer through our lives, we feel naked without our usual petty or big fears. I have recently become aware of this, as I have increased my intent to eliminate fear from my mind.
We cannot fight fear. Fighting always brings us what we don't want. We can give up our attachments to the thoughts, however, acknowledge them and let them float away. We might say, "Oh, that is a fear thought", then let it float away without further attention. If we do make the error of attaching feelings to them, we can say, "These are not my feelings" experience them and let them pass without further attention.
We have a lot of help, right now, in raising our consciousness, out of the fear created, illusion. With practice we can find a meditative state of mind almost instantaneously. It is useful to pause throughout the day and let peace take over our minds. Expect help. Expect the arms of a loving universe to raise you above the hubbub. It happens.
Remember to smile. Shower the world with your laughter today, tomorrow and everyday.
Happy Friday!
Love and Peace, Gregg
