WE CAN FLY!

Spring is here! We have had about five days now of unmistakable Spring weather. The buds are swelling on the trees, it won't be long before the first flowers emerge. It hasn't dried our here and we still have patches of snow on the lawn and pasture and yes, large piles left by the snow plow, yet it is Spring indeed.

I can see a huge wild tom turkey from my window. He is pacing back and forth along the fence. He apparently got in but can't figure out how to get out. An hour or so ago, his ladies were on the other side of the fence and he was making a display of his magnificence. His ladies must have vacated the area and he now seems desperate. Did he forget he could fly?

Maybe that is how we are. We are trapped inside an enclosure and can't remember how to get out. We create these enclosures with our beliefs. We get locked into them and we label them: liberal, conservative, religious, agnostic, atheist, optimistic, pessimistic etc. etc. We got lots of labels and we build our fences high. We get so enmeshed in our beliefs that we can't understand what the people in the other enclosures are thinking. We forget we can fly. In this case flying would be 'seeing'. We can't see when our minds are clouded with beliefs. It reminds me of a quote Jamie ran across, “The eyes are useless when the mind is blind.” I don't know who to attribute it to.

I have been hoping that one big disclosure would shatter the thinking of folks enough to open there eyes to how much they have been lied to. Something like proof that 9-11 was an inside job or evidence that UFOs are real and the government knew it all along. Would it? I don't know? There have been reputable scientist who have concluded that the buildings in the 9-11 episode could only come down from a controlled demolition. I just saw something about it today on Facebook. I think it ends up to being 'preaching to the choir' though. I think most people will stay locked into their belief systems as long as the main stream media keeps supporting the fictions.

Perhaps we won't get out of our cages until we accept the fact that we are living in an illusion created by our thoughts and feelings. Nothing is real except the energy used in the creation. We create an illusion according to our beliefs. We are the writers, producers, directors and actors in our own drama. If we don't like the movie we can alter it by changing our beliefs.

According to how I read the masters that is what they have been saying to us down through the ages. We have the world we are forging and we can have the world we want by changing our beliefs. If we choose love in every decision we make, we will see love. We will see what we believe in. We do now.

I don't see that turkey, he must have remembered he could fly.

Let's fly out of our enclosures. Let's decide that love is the only thing worthy of belief. We don't want to grovel around in darkness anymore.

There is a world of love, joy and peace beckoning to us. Let us join it.

Love and Peace, Gregg
