OPTIMISM

I just want to watch the snow melt today. Finally we are seeing evidence that Spring is real. There are now large swathes of snowless pasture along the fencerows. I can see from my window the sheep laying in the Sun with chickens pecking around them. They love the bare ground. And it is almost bare, the grass is very short, there is not much for the sheep to nibble on in these stretches. As the snow melts it will expose areas of the pasture that have been snow covered all winter, then they will find plenty to nibble on.

The sheep shearer wants to come tomorrow. I have to see if I can get around the barn where I can close the door on the sheep. I have to lock them up at Night as they will be in the other pasture in the Morning and too far away to lure easily with corn. Well, if I we didn't have deep snow it wouldn't be a problem. However, that is the problem and why I may have difficulty getting around to the side of the barn, where the door is, that needs to be closed. The gates I could use were frozen in place the last time I checked. The snow kept piling up, it would melt in the day and freeze at Night, it is like cement right now; hopefully by the end of the day it will soften enough that I can get the gate open.

I don't want to bore people with my Winter lament. I would like to share the excitement of the emergence of Spring. It may be a month late but it is sure welcome.

I get stuck at this point in writing my blog. I don't want to go on comparing our current world craziness and this passing Winter. I want folks to know that the craziness will end. I want them to be confident and optimistic. But, what can I say? If you look at the world through the lens of the main stream media it is crazy indeed and there doesn't appear to be much hope. One can find encouragement in the alternative media, but there is much darkness too. I don't want people to take it on blind faith that things are getting better. I think they are. In fact I know they are, what can I point to that will help people see?

There is a power in optimism, besides adding positive energy to the mix, it guides what we look for and helps us discern what we see. If we look for confirmation that love is increasing in the world, we see it. If we look for the increase in darkness we are likely to find it.

It all goes back to the basic notion that we are the creators. Everything is energy. Individually and collectively, we create the world we see with our thoughts and feelings. We have been creating a very dense world characterized by separation maintained with violence. We get a lot of help from the folks that benefit from this dark scenario.

The awakening is the individual and collective awareness that we don't have to do this anymore. We don't have to create along the dark lines that have been given us by our controllers.

I can't convince anyone that things are getting better. Everyone peers out of their body with eyes and other senses that are programmed by their mind. What we see depends upon the beliefs we hold dear and the thoughts and feelings that are engendered by them. So we shape what we see.

We see, what we think there is, to see. That is why optimism is so powerful. It affects what we think and feel and helps shape what we see. What we see grows. We are the creators, what we focus on GROWS.

So it all goes back to us, but instead of wondering how we can change the world, how about just changing what we see inside ourselves. When we look inside do we see love, do we see judgement, do we like what we see? Unless we like what we see inside we won't like what we see outside. We are creators and we out-picture what we think we are inside.

We change the world by changing how we see ourselves. When we love ourselves we will out-picture love. Love is infectious, as we love ourselves we kindle love in others.

We will get to the point where we know ourselves as great beings of light, all else is illusion.

HAPPY SPRING!

Love and Peace, Gregg
