THE DISCUSSION BEGINS

The weather is dreary; overcast and 35.9F. However, there is a promise of Spring in the extended forecast. I am not gloomy, myself, but I seem to be in some kind of holding pattern. I am not sure what to write. I would like to comment on the world situation; but, it seems so bizarre. On the surface, nothing makes any sense. It appears that structural collapse is imminent; but, the economy, and other structures, go along as if they are not on the verge of going in the dumper.

Perhaps, the collapse will be slow and gentle, that would give us an opportunity to imagine the world we want. I think we need healing/learning centers to help folks reconnect with Nature in a healthy way. I don't think many of us realize how separate we have become.

If we realize we are one with Nature, and Nature being part of Source, everything we need for a happy productive life must be all around us. Didn't we, at one time, rely on Nature? What happened? For the last thousand years or more we have been teaching separation from Nature. We have learned to exploit the Earth, but not live with it, and cherish it. The Earth is a loving being like everything else in creation. Didn't we know that once?

Why have we been denying our oneness with the Earth and all of the Universe? Is this the ultimate separation of the Ego?

How would it be if we perceived the Earth as a loving being that longed to provide nurture for all her denizens? When we felt ill, wouldn't we be able to find relief in the plants that grow around us? Wouldn't a loving Earth provide everything for her lovely children? Could it really be any other way?

It seems to me that our separation, that happened a long time ago, is the source of all our problems. Separation has been a source of power and money for a few. Our present state of insanity is not an accident.

We need to reconnect with each other and the Earth. What should our learning/healing centers look like? What ideas do you have? We need to re-learn everything.

I will be discussing this subject further.

Love and Peace, Gregg
