TIME TO SHED ILLUSION

We have been in a celebratory mood these last two days. On Monday, the doctor [orthopedist] told Jamie that her shoulder dislocation did not cause any permanent damage. It should heal nicely and she doesn't have to worry about it reoccurring, as that would be very unusual, when the first occurrence was in the seventies. He told her he she didn't need to wear the brace [sling] anymore and she can resume normal activities. He advised her to use her left arm in a low position for now. Do not try to do things where the arm is raised high. She is going to see a physical therapist today to learn some exercises to aid healing.

We both feel exuberant. I think, the thought of another health problem weighed more heavily on us than we realized. At least for me. Jamie was more open about being worried. I tend to keep a stiff upper lip.

These are uncertain times. It sometimes seems the whole world fell down the rabbit hole; without the magic or amusement. Yet, we can change how we see things. We can choose to see things differently. If we look for magic and amusement we will see it.

I think the solution, more than ever, is to stay out of the drama created by the main stream media. The more we can lovingly focus on our day to day lives, the more we will, intensify the love, to calm the troubled waters of the world. We can only be responsible for ourselves, our own minds. If we want peace, love and joy in the world, we must start with our minds. Let us create it, in ourselves, and thus in our families, and relationships.

I am not saying it is easy. Although, the energy of love is very high, the competing energies that create divisiveness are rampant. Emotional touchiness is widespread. Jamie and I can have a spectacular fight in the spur of the moment. We can get over it fast, too.

It is hard to have, the trust and faith, that things in the world will turn out okay, when it appears that the leaders, of the world, are stark raving mad. It does seem that sanity is in short supply. Yet, if we can put our figurative, ear to the ground in the right place and right time, we can sense a rising tide of awareness. We know that folks are opening their eyes. They realize they have been misused and abused for centuries. It is dawning on, us that we don't need leaders or governments, that would promote conflict and war. The only purpose of government is to serve, where we cannot serve ourselves. We don't need protection from others in the world. All the people in the world are beautiful loving beings. It is only those whom would manipulate us that would suggest otherwise. We know the truth. We don't need any big daddies or mommies to explain things to us.

2016 is the time for the sane leaders of the world to get together, and develop strategies, to get us out of this horrible illusion of separation. Everybody in the world, at their core, is a loving being, all else is an illusion, promoted by those that would wield power.

This is the year to shed illusions and embrace who we really are.

Love and Peace, Gregg
