Spring is struggling to get a firm hold
in our locale. It will make it. There are crocuses popping up in our
lawn and I didn't see any Slate Covered Juncos yesterday. I haven't
been out today, but yesterday, I was out driving around a couple
times and I didn't see any of these little harbingers. These Juncos
migrate to our area every Autumn, right before the first snow storm.
The lore is; when you see them in the Fall it will snow within two
weeks. In the Spring they go back North. I believe they breed close
to the arctic. It is hard to believe, that a little bird would find
our climate desirable, for Winter habitation.
I am blogging late today. We have two
grandsons here. One from California, who is staying the week and one
local from St Cloud, who came yesterday with his Mom, and stayed over
night. One twelve [almost thirteen] and the other nine. They are very
well behaved, but sometimes bedlam reigns.
They are just a few feet away from me
playing some game on iPads. I have been occupied all Morning, if not
being the entertainment, the audience. I am writing this to inform
folks, I am not blogging today. I still have a few chores to do and I
haven't had my afternoon nap.
Stay in the moment and love your life;
all of it.
Love and Peace, Gregg
