PEACE!

We have been missing the Spring rain. We have good ground moisture, so it is not vital we get it, but it would accentuate the greening up process. We were forecast, to get a substantial amount of rain, yesterday and last night, and didn't get enough to wet the deck. Well perhaps we won't get the snow we are supposed to get this afternoon. It is 45.6 degrees F, it would be possible to get snow when it is this warm, we have seen it, but it's unlikely.

I think we are over the siege of strange events that I reported on Friday, but as an addendum, I might say, I couldn't publish my blog, for a while, because I kept getting an error message. That never happened before. Then our kitchen sink plugged up Friday afternoon. It was sudden, it wasn't sluggish first. I had just emptied it from doing dishes and that water went down fine. We have a double sink and Jamie and I worked plungers in both bowls simultaneously and we couldn't budge the clog. I baled out the sink and used a drain cleaner. Three treatments, and the next Morning, before it was cleared. I was convinced I would have to remove the double trap [which would have been easier]. The three treatments must have done something, though it took a very vigorous plunging. We have lived here since 1975 and never had an experience quite like that.

However, when that plug gave way, with a whoosh, I felt something was leaving our life space. Or, we were moving out of something. Anyway peace has reigned since.

Regardless of what is going on I try to achieve peace. If I remember, I can generally be successful. I don't always remember. How is it, that we will wallow in some negative emotion, when if we are aware, we can pull ourselves out of it? We have learned, time and time again, that what is happening outside us, does not have to disturb the inside. It is possible to resist the invitations to be involved in someone else's negative emotion. It is possible not to declare doomsday, when the car breaks down, or some other seeming calamity, appears before us.

The greatest gift, one can give to another, through troubled times, is to remain peaceful. Many times joining in on someone else's negative feelings [fear, anxiety, anger etc,] is like throwing gasoline on a fire. We can help each other best by remaining peaceful.

The world is going through some troubled times right now, we need peace. All of us, who can find our center and remain peaceful, have a great gift to give to the world. When we are peaceful, we are channels for love. We shower love on all that are around. Like the butterfly that flaps it's wings, the reverberations are felt around the world.

Pay no attention to the darkness. Humanity is far along in the awakening process. We are awakening from the bad dream. Let us find the peace in ourselves and extend it.

Love, Joy and Peace are ours. They are our birthright.

Love and Peace, Gregg
