IT IS JUST A BAD MOVIE

The first full day of my 83rd year on planet Earth has started uneventfully. I had an excellent sleep, I did the chores and paid some bills. We escaped the latest snow storm but our January thaw is ending. Back to normal temperatures; that's fine, as long as they are normal, we are on the downside of Winter now.

How can my World be so peaceful, when all around, peoples minds seem so revved up? Yet, the hyper quality, is not evident in the folks I see everyday. It is the main stream media, the alternative media and social media, they all seem to verge on hysteria. I don't remember a time when so many people operated on anticipation. It seems, few people can 'wait and see'. I get the feeling like none of it is real. That the folks on Facebook are just, joining in the fun, and when they get done posting 'whatever', they go back to a fairly peaceful existence. I don't know. I can't tell. The folks I meet everyday are pretty relaxed and one could say even optimistic.

The drama on the surface is chaotic, confused and patchy, like a badly put together and spliced movie. What is the real action behind the scenes? I have my opinion but I certainly can't know. This is not a time to rely on other's opinions. I will say a little of what I think.

I think it is all part of the great awakening. Everything looks ridiculous – because it is ridiculous! It has always been ridiculous! We need to see that nothing we accepted as true- was true! We have been living in a fairy tale created by those in control so they could continue their money and power game. They had a strangle hold on both political parties. If liberal and conservative meant something it was lost during the last three administrations. The Clintons, put the nail in the coffin, of liberalism when they cozied up to Wall Street and did not oppose the Empire's wars. The cabal continues their divisive tactics to drive wedges between all groups. I am a life long democrat and a raving liberal. The democratic party left me. I didn't leave them. I am still for some form of socialized medicine. I still think a guaranteed minimum income is a good idea. I would like to see guaranteed clothing, housing and food for all. I want excellent public schools. I want people to know they are really free, to live the way they want, as long as they respect other's beliefs and wishes and respect the planet.

We need to quit joining groups because it makes us feel good or gives us protection. We don't need labels. We are all human beings deserving everything necessary for a satisfactory life.

Let us just sit back and enjoy this bizarre spectacle. I know we are love, don't you? I know, if we maintain our peace, and love our neighbor, the chips will come down in the right place. They are not going to come down in the right place, through anger, fear, demonization of our fellow man or any other fear-based egoic response.

Each one of us can create paradise in our own life right now. Let us be in the moment and let love stream through us. We can do it. We can light up and help those next to us light up.

Come on folks! Let us stop being crazy. If we want to live in paradise- we can!

Love and Peace, Gregg
