PUTTING AN END TO WORRY

It is a balmy 18.1 degrees F, that is a far cry from the near 30 below it was yesterday Morning. It is supposed to be normal temperatures this week. Normal highs for this time of year are in the high twenties.

We have been having a glitch getting hay. I usually buy four large bales of hay and that is enough to last the Winter. I only have eight sheep this year so I probably can get by on three bales. I was supposed to have the hay delivered about three weeks ago, but my hay man's truck broke down. He delivered ten square bales hoping his truck would be repaired before I needed more. The delivery of the big bales was delayed again by further mechanical problems. He optimistically, brought only four more square bales over believing he would soon be off and running. I fed the last bale this Morning and he hasn't answered his phone. If I can't get a hold of him I know where I can get some hay. It is inconvenient, but at least it is nice weather.

Life on Planet Earth often doesn't come according to our prescription. That is okay; it keeps our creative juices flowing.

How often do we have to discover, that things generally turn out just fine, to quit worrying? And what does worrying accomplish anyway? I know where I can get some hay tomorrow, if I can't get a hold of my hay man today. It is no big deal. Yet my mind can make a huge deal out of it, and if I am not vigilant about my thoughts, I can suffer angst.

No matter how often we learn that worry accomplishes nothing, we find ourselves in its embrace. Okay, I am not going to do it!

I know, love and peace, is in the present moment. And in the present moment, I am in the position to listen to my intuition and know what needs to be done. Worry robs us of the love and peace, we could be enjoying, and hampers are decision making by blocking our intuition.

More importantly, we are channels for the Love of the Universe, when we are in the present moment we pour love out unto the world. That is how we change the world. We change the world by knowing we were created by Love and therefore are Love. All that noise, created by fear, is part of the illusion. We don't have to listen to it. When we are quiet and sink deeply into our being, we get in touch with who we are. We find a deep peace; it is infinite, it is love. With practice we can go there whenever we realize we are to involved in the illusion.

I will remind myself today, to get in touch with my being, whenever I am not at peace. I will bless all I see and shine love on the world.

I need to get my dishes washed and I need to mail a letter.

Love and Peace, Gregg

P.S.  I went out to mail my letter about 1:PM and there was one huge round bale of hay sitting alongside the driveway. Our Alarm dog, that usually goes off like a siren, didn't even bark.
