STANDING IN THE GARDEN

We had some large thunderstorms pass to the South of us last night. We got barely a sprinkle. Too bad. We could use the rain. We have heavy soil and we are not drying out, but it would, still be nice, to get a good strong rain. We are ahead of schedule, by about a week, looking at how the crab apples are blooming. It seems to me they usually come into full bloom the second or third week of May; they are blooming now. The barn swallows have returned, at least the scouts have arrived; they are males, that return a week ahead of the main flock. We have a pair of robins that seem to be building a nest.

Yes, Spring has sprung! It is a whole New World. Many of us feel the drag of the old dark world and we feel we are just schlepping through life. Those of us, that feel that way, should not be dismayed. Stepping out, of the old world created by fear, is not as easy as one would think. Our minds are accustomed to think in terms of limitations. Many of us are still caught in a web of fear thoughts. Our minds are still looking for dangers. We still feel we need to defend ourselves. Our egos are still alert for any transgressions that may come our way.

We need to test what it would be like to live outside this illusion. It is like sticking our big toe in the water. What would it be like seeing everything as love? What would it be like, to accept; that if it isn't love, it doesn't exist? Can we look outside our disguise and see only loving eyes looking back?

Some of us, may have one giant breakthrough, and walk out of the darkness into the light. Other of us, will wear away at our disguise, until we feel we don't need it any longer. We will pull the curtains up, that are blocking love, little by little.

The old metaphor, of darkness before the dawn, can be a reality. Globally the dark tries to hold unto its grip and, individually, our egos hang on for dear life, they want to stay in control and will whisper, anything they can into our ears, to maintain control.

But, again I say, don't be dismayed. The illusion is getting thin and very frayed. The old world is very tired. It is ready to be over. Our intention [intent] is very important. It points the way. It is like a team of horses pulling us out of the muck [illusion]. It will help greatly if we reaffirm our intention to awaken several times a day. Be alert to thoughts that keep us stuck, and don't give them credence, but, also, don't fight them, just let them fade away. We can't fight our way out of this illusion. We can only love our way out. We can refuse to acknowledge anything that is not love.

We are emerging! The beauty of our true selves is beginning to show. We can greatly help by, being alert, to the light in each other. Look for the beam of light in your neighbor. It is there. The more we look for the love in each other, the more we will see it. Tend to the love, in each other, as you would tend a beautiful garden. We will see a magnificent bloom.

There are great changes globally. Everyday, more minds are choosing peace. The people of the world, are seeing through the manipulations, of those who would control. The people are realizing, they have the power to demand a peaceful world. We are seeing it despite the obfuscation of the media. The more we can focus on love, the better we will see the change.

We are standing in a garden. The people around us are struggling to bloom. Let us pour our loving light all around us. Watch, the flowers of love, open their petals.

Love and Peace,  Gregg
