We are hosting a graduation party for Naomi tomorrow. She is now a Registered Nurse, the pinning ceremony was last week.
Because of the late Spring I haven't done much yard work. I picked up some of the larger branches. There are still many smaller branches to be picked up before I mow. That plus all the other things that, seem to, need to be done before one has a party, could be overwhelming. No matter how many times we go through these episodes, it is easy to get caught up in the anxiousness of getting everything done.
After almost eight decades on planet Earth, I am learning it doesn't have to be a harrying experience. No matter how much one has to do and how much time there is to do it, it is possible to stay grounded, find your center, and proceed one task at a time. Our inner proddings will guide us from task to task and everything that needs to get done will get done.
It is possible to, always, be at peace. We have been so inured to this third dimension, where our minds are normally full of noise. Thoughts pulling us this way and that way. Negative past experiences constantly cranking out negative thoughts and experiences. We are so used to it and it can become so subtle, that we can be robbed of our peace and not know why.
Those of us that have been seeking peace, through meditation and ongoing discipline of our minds, can catch ourselves, find our centers and go with the natural rhythm of our activities. Getting ready for an event, like a party, can be exciting but peaceful experience.
Our minds are full of rules, regulations, dos and don'ts. We have accumulated thousands of little rules, in the form of judgements, that rule our perception. We create continually the future from the past. It is an unconscious process. Our perception is formed by those thousands of little judgements and we look at the world through that filter.
We can see why our teachers, past and present, have cautioned us to give up judgements and live only in the present.
Yet, we find it difficult to do this. Our judgements form a fabric, a maze, an impenetrable veil. We learned them well from a society that had an interest in control and manipulation. It is indeed a difficult situation. A trap.
The way out. All judgement: higher and lower; good and bad; better or worse; richer or poorer; etc. etc. etc. are based on some modicum of fear. Without fear, we would not measure ourselves against others or our things against others' things. Or our tastes, dreams, wishes, or anything else. If we need approval, only from ourselves, there is no need to look elsewhere.
With love we find our way out. Love with forgiveness dissolves all judgement because it dispels fear.
The Great Awakening is the realization that we can emerge from this third dimensional trap by seeing differently. For an individual to do it before now, was difficult because it took so much light to dispel our accumulated darkness and escape from our negative time loop.
The light is increasing so fast that more and more of us are able to walk through life in the perpetual now. Our minds are clear. The past is a reference point, a memory, a place that we learned from but it is not repeated in the present. Our minds are in the present moment. We see only love. We experience great joy and an exuberance for life. We are free to create new experience, to experiment, to enjoy life to the fullest. We can't even imagine what it would be like to be fearful. We know we can have absolute faith in a universe of love.
We may not be there yet, but we are well on the way.
Love and Peace, Gregg
