TRUTHSAYERS

Truthsayers come in all sizes and packages. Everyone has had the experience of hearing someone who talks to your inner being. What they say may resonate deeply and you know they speak the truth. I am not speaking of people who say what you believe is true, people speak to your ego, too.  It is always nice to have, what you already believe, reinforced. We must check and see if what we believe passes the love test. Does it come from unconditional love? Is it inclusive? Does it support the idea that we are all equally loved and worthy? Is it devoid of fear? We learn to feel what is truth. It resonates in our hearts. It broadens us. It opens our eyes a little wider.

Over our lifetime, we will hear the truth spoken by some very unlikely people. They may be people who don't speak the truth very often, but at the moment, they had a message for us. It may not be a welcome message. The truth has a way of sinking in.

Then there are the folks who have a mission to tell the truth to the people. They may not tell the truth all the time or even most of the time. But they do carry messages for us. They say things in ways we can accept and understand. In a few minutes they can communicate what others have tried to say in volumes.

I know we have had this experience a number of times and in the last fifty years or so, there has been many people who have had a message for us. I ran across such a message the other day on Facebook. A comedian, who died about twenty years ago did a comedy sketch called, "Its Just a Ride". His name was Bill Hicks. It is accessible on YouTube. It says simply what many of us have been saying without belaboring the point. Check it out.

It occurs to me that many comedians have served as truthsayers these last few decades and they continue. George Carlin is a name that pops into my mind. There have been some great ones.

All that is hidden is coming out now. Truthsayers abound as well as those whose mission is to mislead. Be wary of any message that contains fear. There can be truthful messages that can be a mite fearful but the purpose will always be love. Pure messages from source will never contain fear. We are being inundated with information right now, some truth is disturbing. Still it feels right. What opens our eyes, also, increases our capacity to love.

If we remember that our choice is to follow fear or love and we choose love. We will be okay.

Everything is great here at Laughing Water Farm. Jamie is back to her old self. She is always working at something. If it isn't carpentry or cabinet making, it is an art project. Her relaxation consist, mostly, of researching on the internet. Many of our Fall chores have been completed. We still need to dig potatoes and I need to get my pullets joined with the adult chickens. Our construction project is nearing completion.

I need to get at my dishes.

Love and Peace,  Gregg
