We had a great Thanksgiving? I have a mountain of dishes to do. I might write a blog later today; if not, tomorrow.
I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving.

THANKFULNESS
The folks here on Laughing Water Farm are getting ready for the great feast. It has been a tradition for our children and their families to meet here for Thanksgiving. Sometimes they all can't make it, but we always have a house full.
We sold our turkeys last year so we bartered with the Amish for beautiful, fat, free range turkey. In recent years Jamie has gallantined the turkey. That is taking it off the bone and rolling it up with the dressing inside. It may not be as picturesque in the center of the table, but those slices of turkey with a center of dressing are fantastic.
The carcass doesn't go to waste. Jamie roast it and then boils it for a few hours extracting all the goodness from the bones. There is always a lot of meat that clings to the bones, this adds to the broth which is canned for future soups.
I had a dream date of Thanksgiving to get our addition complete, but alas, the contractor had other dreams to meet and it won't be complete for awhile. That is fine. We have a great deal to be thankful for.
There is a great deal of attention to thankfulness this time of year, some of it a little too embalmed with treacle for our taste. But extra syrupy or not, thankfulness, like forgiveness, gets amazing results.
How does thankfulness work? Thankfulness helps us focus on what we appreciate about life. That awareness itself is a positive, as it raises our consciousness and makes us more aware of the love that surrounds us. It does more. As we have discussed here, many times before, we create with our thoughts. We increase what we focus on. What we expect to happen has a higher probability of being manifest. When we are thankful for the things in our lives, that we appreciate, we give them energy to expand and continue.
Thankfulness opens up our heart center. It enhances the loving communication between us. It increases our awareness that we are indeed One.
Thankfulness, like forgiveness, works like a tool to help us when we are in a tight spot. When we are down and everything looks bleak, the last thing we might think about is thankfulness. It works. The next time you find yourself in a gloomy pickle. Look for the things that you like about your life and say thank you for them. When we are really down we don't want to hear that. We might be enjoying our tantrum too much or we might just be so numb we don't think we can pivot our mind around to see anything good. If we force ourselves to find something good about our lives our consciousness will rise. Some times we will instantly feel better, other times we need to keep at it for awhile but we will begin to feel better.
Thankfulness is only realizing the truth. We are beings created with love. Love surrounds us. Love is everything. If it isn't love it is part of the illusion and doesn't exist. We have been on a long voyage in an illusion created by fear. We are just emerging from it. In the next few months, we will become more and more aware of the reality that love creates. There will be some chaos but the old world will fade away.
Thankfulness for the love in your life will help the new world emerge. Give thanks for all the wonderful folks around you. See the love in everybody you meet and thank them for bringing their love to you.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

STAYING IN THE LIGHT
Sometimes we are going along, everything is fine we are happy as clams, then somebody does something to hurt our feelings. We don't remember we have forgiveness at our disposal, we hang onto the hurt with righteous indignation. We know we can let it go, but we won't, we want the other to appreciate what they have done. We can waste minutes or hours or even days living in misery. Have you ever done this?
What if the person who hurt your feelings had no intention of doing so? Even if they did, how is your suffering going to help the situation? Sometime we hang onto pain as if it is a special jewel. We weave a bizarre fabric of rationalizations for feeling bad and not dealing with it.
Hurt feelings are machinations of the ego attempting to control the situation and your decisions. Sure, someone else, temporarily ruled by their ego, may hurt our feelings. But to accept the invitation to be angry or feel less of ourselves is a kind of madness we don't need. We invite all kinds of negativity into our life when we justify being angry at someone. We don't need to do that.
We are surrounded by love. The solution to all interactions, painful or otherwise, are provided by spirit, on a moment by moment basis. Hurt feelings are past injuries brought into the present. We need to ask ourselves why this hurt our feelings. What experience from the past did we bring to it? Who do we need to forgive from the past? When the past has been given up and all forgiven; injuries in the present are momentarily bothersome and it is easy to see that is not our problem. The perpetrator is calling for love and needs our understanding and forgiveness.
As we go through life we can imagine being in a beam of light. A light that provides us with all necessary answers. A beam of light that lights the way and keeps our eyes open. Our egos are on the alert for fear. Fear bumps us out of the light. When we feel the light diminishing, we should be calm and ask the spirit for direction. If we listen, the answer will nudge us back into the light. The ego supplies all that noise in our minds. That obsessive chatter, filled with judgement, is to be ignored. There are no answers there, only more questions that lead nowhere. The ego is full of questions; it has no answers.
We are one and as individuals we walk with Spirit that is One. We are always safe. We are always protected. We need only follow the path laid out before us. It takes a leap to trust the Source that created us. We have learned to be skeptical of a benevolent universe. Trust, and thankfulness for that trust, have great rewards. However, we do need to get over the distrust we have of Source.
When we make a commitment to walk in the light, all our little mistrusts will arise. We will need to deal with them as they come up. As we lay our mistrusts and fears aside, our consciousness expands, we begin to see more and before long, we won't remember what we were afraid of.
Let us walk in the light and beam out loving energy for all to appreciate.
Love and Peace, Gregg

ARE WE AWAKENING
And what is awakening? First we need to get a glimmer of who we were before we took the adventure into separation. We can't expect to see this very clearly yet, but we can imagine what it would be like to know our connection with each other and the universe.
Then we need to understand how we have been misused, and are continuing to be misused, by folks dedicated to amassing power and money. We will see that this is a condition we all contributed to by our embracement of fear. We will see all as equal victims of the craziness we created. We will remove them from power. We will not judge them and condemn them. However, folks who continue to think in terms of power and domination will need to evolve or reincarnate in a world that suits them.
Waking up will mean seeing where we came from. Did we evolve on this planet? Did we have help evolving from folks from other planets? What influence did/do folks from other worlds have on our life now?
We will understand we have been living in an illusion that we continue to create with our thought. We will experience how we can alter the illusion by having only loving thoughts. A world created without fear is vastly different from the one we experience now.
What is a dimension? We hear people talk about dimensions, what are they? We have been living in the third dimension. It is the dimension of dichotomy, where one is continually able to choose between love and fear. We have been raising our vibratory state; we are lifting ourselves out of the dichotomy and moving into a state where we create with love. It is called the fifth dimension.
When we are awake we will see our true history. We have always known history was decided by those in power. We haven't realized how fictitious it is. Some will be amazed at how facts have been twisted and turned to suit those in power.
Every generation has had people who saw that the Earth could be paradise. That it gave us everything and we didn't need to dig into it, mine it, rape and torture it to survive. Many folks all through history have taught that the Earth was a living being, created by Spirit and it needed to be loved and cherished. The Spirit of the Earth loved us and we were returning the love with violence. As we awaken, we will see those folks were correct and we will dedicate ourselves to correcting the damage we have done. The Earth has a remarkable ability to heal herself and together we will set things right.
Tesla and others showed us that energy exists all around us. We live in a field of energy. The energy that exist naturally in our lifespace can be utilized to power our homes.
Finally, as we awaken we will realize we have never been free. Freedom has always eluded us. We are continually tortured by a past that doesn't exist and a future that hasn't happened. True freedom has been a dream we have not been able to grasp. We have been continually bathed in anxiety about our physical safety, our financial security, our status, and our various positions vis-a-vis each other.
To be truly awake will mean being in the moment, absolutely free to create with love.
Everyday with our loving intent we raise our vibrational status. We are awakening. We will awake.
The power of Love cannot be denied. Feel the love, it is all around us.
Happy Friday!

BE WHAT YOU WANT
We want peace. We want love. We want joy. And we want them all the time. Until we raise out of this particular level of evolution, we won't have them all the time. We can have them most of the time. All the time is in the near future.
What can we do now? We can be love. We can be joy. We can be peace. Some of us will protest, "That's too hard. We can't do that." Okay, you have tried and failed. You have gotten discouraged. It happens to all of us. Get up and try again. We are here to grow. We know the direction we want to go. Keep plugging away.
We won't see the love that surrounds us if we don't realize the love we are. Let us look at it from a different perspective. Know that we are already; love, peace and joy. Over thousands of years we developed this film of negativity around us, which is ruled by our egos. It is only a wisp, an illusion.
We can break through the illusion easily. It doesn't seem easy at times. There is quite a bit of resistance in this shell that surrounds us. Like any thing else that we learn for the first time; driving a car, playing bridge, playing football, dancing etc. Part of learning is natural other parts are difficult. Sometimes it is formidable. We know we can do it! So we keep trying.
Growing spiritually is a new adventure. We have spent so much time in various levels of negativity that it is hard to believe we can be what we want. Let us convince ourselves we are there already. Our vision is only obscured by a veil of ego. As we practice being what we want, the veil becomes thinner. Each time we fail and are disappointed in our behavior, we have made the veil thinner. It doesn't matter how big a jerk we are or how ferocious the argument with our spouse; we have thinned the veil a little more. We can't go backward. We only go forward.
Our intent is important. If we intend to reflect love, we will grow in that direction no matter what many times we fail. We can only fall off that bicycle so many times before we learn to ride. Soon it becomes second nature. Knowing love, is so reinforcing, that once over the hump we learn very quickly. And it will seem as easy as riding a bike.
Let's keep our vision on a world of Love, Joy and Peace. It shall be ours.
In the meantime, back at laughing Water Farm, we have about completed our Fall chores. If we got three foot of snow tomorrow, we would be ready. We got the pullets we bought this spring in with the flock, day before yesterday. It will take them a few days to get acclimated to their new surroundings. It will take at least three days before I can chance letting them out. I don't want to gather roosting chickens from all over the farm every night. We have a bushel plus apples to process. They are great eating apples, but we are not eating them very fast. I don't have a good place to store them. A root cellar has always been on our wish list.
We took a year off from intensive gardening. We are looking forward to next year. We had tomatoes, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, cabbages, radishes, lettuce and a few other things. Our beans and peas did not do well and we lost some potatoes to the frost. We have often waited until mid November to harvest potatoes. During late Summer and Fall we dig them as we need them. This year we waited to long. We normally do not have frost that penetrates deep enough to hurt potatoes the first have of November. This year we had a few nights in the single digits. That was enough. We lost about half the crop. Hey, that is okay. That's what life on planet Earth is for, to learn and learn to love. Love everything.
Love and Peace, Gregg

STAYING IN THE MOMENT
Have you tried staying in the moment? Not easy is it? Our thoughts keep pulling us into the future because of something that happened in the past. Why is it so difficult?
Our past is a minefield of encysted hurts and angry spots. We are not aware of how many there are. We don't think of the issues that caused them any more; but they wait to be resolved. Each one needs forgiveness applied before it will no longer be a generator of negative thought.
Notice how we argue with those closest to us. Someone close to you says something that causes us to seethe. Note that the thing said doesn't warrant the intensity of our feeling. It is the accumulation of things from the past that we're bringing into the present. We may be applying a mountain of past hurts in reaction to what is said. Then the fur may fly.
If it wasn't for the past issues, you may have reacted only with a quizzical look and inquired about the meaning of the remark, in a way that wasn't blaming.
Folks in close relationships were attracted to each other because each saw something in the other that would compliment them. We are teachers for each other. The positive part of that is great. Well the other part { I won't call it negative- it isn't, but it can be painful}, is that they trigger off each others encysted painful places. When those of us in long term relationships get into an argument, we are arguing about things that happened in the past. Painful hurts from childhood can be poured out on an unsuspecting spouse and that spouse can react with energy from their own childhood hurts.
When we learn to stay in the moment, these unhappy moments are much easier to deal with. Without the past we are able to deal creatively with the things of the present.
That begs the question, how do we let go of the past? First we need to recognize the value, letting go, has for us. Peace, love and joy exist only in the present. When we are experiencing one of these states, we are in the present.
Most basic to letting go of the past is forgiveness. Most people find forgiveness of others easier than forgiveness of self. When you re-experience one of these painful episodes it is easier to see what we need to forgive in the other, than what it is we need to forgive in ourselves.
When something keeps coming back over and over again and we are convinced that we have forgiven the other; it is wise to see if we need to forgive ourselves, also.
Some of us are fortunate enough to see the past has no reality and can be given up, as a whole, now. Others of us need to do it incrementally issue by issue.
Right now, in the evolution of humankind, there is a great impetus to grow and discover who we really are. To walk through the portals into the new world we need to leave our past behind. When we have the intent to let go of the past, we will get the help we need.
We need to pay attention to our minds. We can learn to entertain only loving thoughts. When we are tortured by a negative thought that keeps coming back. We can ask for help from our guides. No matter how one defines, it help is available, it doesn't matter where we think help comes from e.g. angels, guides, Source, God, saints, ascended masters, group mind etc. help is available.
Remember always, we are surrounded by love. All is love.
We need to always keep forgiveness at the ready. When we see the world with the innocent eyes of a very young child, we won't see the past. We will look upon a forgiven world. We may see paradise.

I KNOW NOTHING
EXCEPT THAT LIFE IS BETTER WHEN I CHOOSE LOVE OVER FEAR. I only surmise. I see a world on the edge of collapse. the folks who know me will say,"Ya, ya, he has said that before." Hey it has been collapsing for a long time. I can't predict when the house of cards will finally crumble. It feels soon. Pope Francis is remaking the Catholic Church. He cancelled the immunity the Vatican officials have had for centuries to civil law. Recently he advised Catholic bishops to avoid ideology in their pronouncements. He advises that church officials lead a simple life and return to the example of Jesus Christ.
Country after country is rejecting GMO foods. The American dollar is on shaky ground in several countries. People are waking up. They don't want to be exploited anymore. There is a growing demand that the big banks be held responsible and their criminal behavior be dealt with. There is news story after news story about the increased production of poppies in Afghanistan. This is in a country we have occupied for several years. We have no trouble blanketing countries with 2-4D when we want to eliminate vegetation. We spray coca fields in South America all the time {the fields that are not supporting our trade-that is another story}. So, these stories don't explain who is really getting rich off this trade. We know every plane that goes and comes from Afghanistan. The farmers are making a pittance. Who is making the big money? Let us connect the dots and see if it leads to the big banks. Of course the CIA and the shadow government must pocket a big chunk. They still need the banks to launder money and finance their ventures.
The banks are bankrupt. If it wasn't for the ongoing bailout from the Fed to the tune of billions a week, they would have long since gone belly up. What is going to happen when folks face up to the fact, that the money they have in their pocket, is backed by a bankrupt government rife with corruption and ruled by a corporate elite?
I am just touching the surface. I could go on and on. The stench of the pollution, of the old world, is overwhelming. I can't begin to touch on the horror that exist. Every thing has been designed to make the rich richer and more powerful.
The folks of darkness have not given up, though I believe they know it is over. Monsanto and their cohorts are still attempting to take over the world food supply with their chemical dependent GMO crops. Pharmaceutical companies continue to come out with dangerous and costly drugs with the pretense of promoting health.
This blog's purpose is not to curse the darkness. I bring a few things up because I want folks to appreciate how precarious the old establishment is. The goal of the dark has always been to enslave the people. They have done it physically, psychologically, socially, and their favorite, economically. For the last seventy years or so the forces of light have been quietly working to open people's eyes. There has been a huge spiritual movement growing like a giant mushroom under the surface. People discovering, "hey- if we just love each other it is going to turn out okay". People have been searching for authenticity through music, art, gardening, organic farming etc. People have been craving for something real, rich and earthy. All of this is the search for Love.
Love is far more powerful than the fear the dark depend on to promulgate their ideas. Since we are all connected, every time someone opened their eyes a little it helped everybody else. The sixties revolution scared the crap out of the dark. They were afraid they were going to lose their power, then. However, they managed to demonize that generation and began programs to destroy the middle class so it couldn't happen again. They didn't see that the seeds of their destruction were planted deeply. Folks started to realize, we don't need war. We can love people of different skin tones and religions just like we love ourselves. We don't need to take orders from the elite, just because they have more money. We can live freely and we can live in Love.
Love doesn't depend on the sanction of the government or the promotion of the media. It grows by leaps and bounds. It has spread through the Peoples of the Earth. A majority of the people see that paradise is not only possible but reachable on this planet.
Because of the up-swelling of love, the old order is crumbling. Those of us who are beginning to see, need to be on the alert to help those who are yet to see. We need to reassure folks that everything is okay. There will be a new banking system available when the old systems collapse. People at all levels of our society have been opening their eyes. There are people in government and banking that are ready for the collapse. Still there will be some chaos and uncertainty. We need to know in our hearts and minds that everything is okay, so we can reach out in peace to our neighbors who are confused.
It looks like big changes will come very rapidly in the next few months. Be at peace. The best thing we can do is keep grounded. Be happy. Love everybody and everything. Let us open our hearts and accept life as it comes. It is all Love.
Myself, I need to do my dishes and then I am going to dig potatoes, I hope they are still okay.
Love and Peace, Gregg

I AM DETERMINED TO BE HAPPY
The title is an affirmation of sorts. I didn't originate it. It has been around for a long time. But I have seen the idea as recently as yesterday; and I thought about it this morning, when the timed ticked by and the builders didn't come. And they didn't come yesterday or the day before. The exterior of our addition is complete, except for the painting, which will be done next year. We are eager to have the interior work finished.
Does it really matter? Is it worth fretting about? We humans have a tendency to spend time being unhappy for reasons we have no control over. We have talked about worrying and how fruitless that is. How about all the other reasons we choose to be unhappy? Sometimes the unhappiness last only a few seconds and sometimes hours or days. What are these episodes usually about? Oh, we might think we hurt somebody's feelings. We are not sure how to check it out. We spend some time in misery until we get tired of it or we find out for sure some how. Sure, some of us have the sense to call the person and say, "Did I hurt your feelings by saying such and such? If I did I am sorry. I didn't mean it the way it sounded." Something like that. So often when we hurt somebody's feelings or when our own feelings are hurt, we just suffer with it. Why? Often the whole thing wasn't real anyway. Nothing insulting was intended.
There are so many examples of how we make ourselves unhappy, I couldn't cover them in a huge volume, much less this little blog. So much of the time, like my building situation, it consists of expectations and disappointments. Of course, we are who we are and we are going to have momentary disappointments. The key word is momentary. We don't have to make ourselves miserable for half a day. How do we affect those around us? We are capable of making their day miserable, too.
We don't realize how easy it is to choose to be happy. And it doesn't take much practice. It does mean we must pay attention to our minds. Our thoughts and feelings decide our happiness. Sometimes it may feel like we don't have a choice about what we think. It just feels that way. We always have a choice.
Our state of mind has always been important. A positive state of mind is very welcome now. Humankind is raising its consciousness like never before. We are all contributing to the consciousness of all. When we are happy the love flows from us unimpeded. When we are not happy, not so much. Let us not clog up the channels of love that flow between us by what is unreal.
Unhappiness is unreal. It is a creation of the mind influenced by ego concerns. Our natural state is sublime happiness. Those of us who meditate have seen glimmers of how happy we could be. One doesn't have to practice meditation, though, to experience this. It happens to us all the time. Haven't we looked at a baby and had a huge rush of love come over us? Could we imagine feeling that love all the time? We could. We can.
Happiness or unhappiness is always decided inside ourselves. It is created by our thoughts and feelings. But it would be hard to be happy if someone was poking pins in us. If negativity continues to come into our minds because of the situation we are in. We need to ask ourselves, can I deal with it and be happy. Can I be happy despite the environment I am in? If we are dealing with an onslaught of negativity perhaps we need to realize we can change our situation.
Regardless of the situation we find ourselves in, we need to know, deep down in our hearts, that we deserve to be happy. It is our right. It is our natural state. Let us be determined to be happy. Let us watch our minds and nip unhappiness in the bud. We can always switch our mind to happiness.
We have a new world of love to create. Paradise is our choice. Let us begin today. Be happy.

DEATH
Death, along with its macabre companion damnation, are the two colossal lies that have been used to manipulate the innocent and allow the church and state to keep a heavy foot of domination on the populace.
I know this is not a very lighthearted subject, but a discussion of it might lead us to be more lighthearted. All the great ones have told us, there is no death. They have taught that our bodies are only temporary structures. That we are spirit [energy] in our permanent state and death can have no meaning. Yet despite this teaching that has echoed down the centuries, the religions of the world have used death and damnation to control people, rather than free them.
Imprinting the idea, that we will may burn in hell for eternity, on a small child's mind is very heavy indeed. As we grow and can reason we realize that God can not be both loving and evil. We see clearly that the idea of hell can come from only an evil mind. Could god be evil?
We grow up and we resolve or bury this conundrum. Still it haunts us. We don't have much help in overcoming our fear of death. In the meantime, the exploiters make huge amounts of money because of peoples fear of death. Look at the insurance industry. How about the pharmaceutical industry? How many folks are taking unnecessary drugs because they and their doctors are afraid of death? How many people are on ventilators holding on to a life that won't return?
And wow! Look at the churches. How many of the faithful fork over scads of money in order to protect themselves from damnation?
Fear is the vehicle that carries all the negativity that we experience. It was with fear that we created the illusion that now has many of us imprisoned. As we give up fear the illusion dissolves and we see the love that has always surrounded us.
Death and damnation are the two monsters that lie hidden in our unconscious. Even if we grow up in a family that has eschewed religion, we absorb some of this dread from the culture. Each one of us needs to look at ourselves and ask the question, "Do either of these fears motivate me or shape my thoughts or feelings?"
On an intellectual level it is fairly easy to resolve the damnation issue. There is no sane argument for a god that would punish. Why would a sane person look up to one who would threaten to hurt them if they did not behave in a certain way? That would be demonic, not godly. The emotional issue takes attention to ones underlying feelings. We can settle in our minds that the issue of damnation is preposterous, then look at the fear with eyes of love, it will dissolve. It is the small child in us that is afraid. Take the child in your loving arms and cuddle it and reassure it that it is loved unconditionally.
Death is more interesting. It is going to happen. We can't stop it. It comes closer every minute. When I was in my thirties I had an experience where I saw [or experienced] life like a fall from a tall building. The ground that was coming up to me was death. The only difference between life and a fall from a tall building was time. It was a scary experience fraught with a high level of anxiety. It was my first step in getting over the fear of death.
Since then I have looked at the idea of death frequently. When I was introduced to the idea of reincarnation, I imagined all the ways I might have met my demise. In order to feel free to live I needed to feel free of the fear of death. I now have the advantage of being almost 79. When a person lives that long on this planet they generally resolve the issue of death. I know I will leave when I am ready, in the meantime, I hope to live every minute.
If we were convinced we live forever much of the sting of death would be gone. Most of us who are aware of our spiritual journey have become convinced that death is just a transition and nothing to fear. Through meditation, contemplation etc. we have come to the conclusion that death of the body is not the end of life. And all of our great teachers have reassured us that is so.
However, our culture hasn't been much help. We have limited our knowledge to only what we could touch, see, hear and smell. Our science has relegated intuition to superstition. If we can't prove it with our crippled science it doesn't exist. Outside of that limited structure there is amble evidence that life after death exist. Science is on the verge of proving it. Quantum physics has broken new ground. It won't be long before these mysteries will be explored.
Our fear of death has resulted in an unimaginable financial cost. Many people take crippling medications that make their life less enjoyable out of fear of this unknown. We have been horribly manipulated and exploited because of this fear.
We are waking up and throwing off the shackles that come with the fear of death. We can help ourselves and help each other get over the last vestiges of this fear.
The solution, as always is love, there can be no fear in love. We live in a loving universe. We are on a journey through love to Love. It is only the illusion, we created with fear, that says otherwise.
Have confidence the old crazy world is fading away and the new one is emerging. Love is everything. Nothing can stand against it.
Live, love and listen to your heart.

A HIGHER POWER
Years ago, in my role as a Family Therapist, I did a fair amount of chemical dependency counseling. Some of my clients refused to go to AA because they rejected the religious over tones of a higher power. As an agnostic myself, at the time, it was easy for me to understand their dilemma. I appreciated, and I helped them appreciate, the success AA had with this concept. I have always believed that people at their heart were loving and decent. It seemed like I was born with that belief and it didn't matter what my ideas of God were, I 'knew' people at their heart were good. Perhaps it was what led me in into the practice of psychotherapy, because I believed everything negative, about us humans, was an overlay learned from experience. If we could learn it, we could unlearn it with the right guidance.
My recall is not perfect, but I believe I was able to get my clients to see the higher power as their own center; a part of them that remained unchanged by their experience. I don't know if I articulated it at the time, but I thought of that center as love.
I am sure the readers of my blog note that I always use the word Source or perhaps Creator. I don't use the word God. I do that because the word God has been contaminated by years of exploitation by religion. Millions and millions of people have been killed, tortured, and deprived of their property in the name of somebodies god.
Some of the most loving and spiritual people I know still cannot accept the concept of God because they look around them and see the damage religion has wrought. Personally, I have long since gotten over this dilemma. The word god for me does not bring to mind the horror of religion but I fully understand why others still shun the word.
Of course, I have, also, known very spiritual people who were deeply religious. There are many, many folks who have never bought into the negative aspects of their religion. When we know God is Love, the rest doesn't matter.
We don't have to make problem where none need exist. Is it hard to accept that we don't really know much? We create this illusion with our thoughts and feelings. We know the illusion responds to our input. When we love we see love. When we send out love, love returns. Learning how this works is not an intellectual process. It is experiential. We try it; it works. As smiles are reflected, love comes back to us. Isn't it obvious that love creates everything we want and fear creates everything we don't want?
It isn't difficult to be convinced that love is everything and that is all that we need to know.
We can look at it and conclude that everything is energy; our bodies and everything we see. Matter, including our bodies, is only a dense form of energy. It is just slowed down. We continue to shape energy into matter with our minds, because we are creators, part of Source. All energy is Love. Source is Love. When we create with Source, we create only love. As we are part of source, we are free will beings. We wanted to experience what it would be like to create without Source. With the separation, fear entered in. As we went on, our creation became heavily contaminated with fear. Thus, came all the negativity of the old world.
We are now extricating ourselves from the world we made with fear. We may not see much evidence of it yet, but we soon will. It doesn't matter if we are religious, have no religion or reject any idea of religion. The truth stands outside of anything we could believe. We can know by experiencing. Try Love. See everything as Love. See only Love. Let us see how it works for us.

SNOW
I was going to write about what one should do when they are having a bad day. But the world is too beautiful and I am having a wonderful day.
It snowed last night. Our forecast was for less than an inch. The storm was supposed to go South of us. The Twin Cities and South were suppose to get the brunt. However, the storm had a mind of its own and we received about five inches.
It is incredibly beautiful. I took several pictures. They turned out nice but not as beautiful as the eye perceives. If it doesn't melt soon I am going to have to haul out some hay for my sheep and that is fine, its time.
There is an air compressor, for the nail gun, operating about six feet away. There is sawing and hammering going on. They are putting up the ceiling on the addition. If the noise gets too much I might have to shorten this blog. Though, I don't know what shorten it would mean as I have no idea what am going to say.
Yesterday I was having a badish day. It wasn't horrible. I wasn't real depressed or anything. I just wasn't very happy. I could look around me and could see that everything was great. There was nothing to create misery. So what was the problem? I was attacking myself. It was subtle. It was a feeling of unworthiness or inadequacy. There were few identifiable thoughts that I could look at. The feelings came to me in waves of cruddiness. It created doubts in my mind about my worthiness.
Eventually, I had enough of it. If Source loves me unconditionally and accepts me as I am; who am I to decide differently? What am I doing wading around in a sewer, when I can be enjoying the Love of the Universe? With a little discipline I was able to bring my mind to the moment and escape the harassment.
What happens to us, anyway, when we are having a bad day? We are listening to our ego. When we first commit ourselves to evolve and start paying attention to our thoughts, it is clear what is making us unhappy. We can identify the thought that is doing the damage and look at it, as much as we need to, and dismiss it. This might involve forgiveness of ourselves or others.
But the ego is tricky. It doesn't give up. It wants to be in control. When you are listening to Spirit and not it, it is terrified of losing control. When we master our minds, to the extent that we dismiss the obvious negative thoughts, it needs to try controlling us in more subtle ways. The ego attempts to co-opt our feelings and create a negative fog so we cannot see the brilliant light that is always around us.
A strong conviction of our worthiness helps in preventing these episodes and helps us realize the ridiculousness of self-judgement. It, also, helps to know that Love always wins out over Ego. Love surpasses everything.
It is an error to see the ego as an enemy {right- it acts that way} but it is our child. We created it as an aid in our separation. Because of the inculcation of fear we began listening to our ego as if it was our savior. The ego, having no life except what we gave it, became a tyrant. Now that we realize we can follow Spirit and not the urging of the ego, the ego feels betrayed. It knows it has only the life we give it. The ego is afraid of the very fear it fostered, it is afraid to die.
We can accept the ego is part of us. We can be reassured that it can aid us, in our separate bodies, to experience the world we create; but it need not rule. We can beam love on our egos as we love everything else. As we love ourselves more and more, all of ourselves, {our egos included} the negative power of our egos will evaporate. The ego cannot stand up against love. To reiterate, if Source loves us, who are we to argue. We will still have struggles and we can have compassion for ourselves, as we have for any loved one, who struggles.
So love yourselves, you marvelous human beings; you perfect beings of light and have a wonderful day.

TRUTHSAYERS
Truthsayers come in all sizes and packages. Everyone has had the experience of hearing someone who talks to your inner being. What they say may resonate deeply and you know they speak the truth. I am not speaking of people who say what you believe is true, people speak to your ego, too. It is always nice to have, what you already believe, reinforced. We must check and see if what we believe passes the love test. Does it come from unconditional love? Is it inclusive? Does it support the idea that we are all equally loved and worthy? Is it devoid of fear? We learn to feel what is truth. It resonates in our hearts. It broadens us. It opens our eyes a little wider.
Over our lifetime, we will hear the truth spoken by some very unlikely people. They may be people who don't speak the truth very often, but at the moment, they had a message for us. It may not be a welcome message. The truth has a way of sinking in.
Then there are the folks who have a mission to tell the truth to the people. They may not tell the truth all the time or even most of the time. But they do carry messages for us. They say things in ways we can accept and understand. In a few minutes they can communicate what others have tried to say in volumes.
I know we have had this experience a number of times and in the last fifty years or so, there has been many people who have had a message for us. I ran across such a message the other day on Facebook. A comedian, who died about twenty years ago did a comedy sketch called, "Its Just a Ride". His name was Bill Hicks. It is accessible on YouTube. It says simply what many of us have been saying without belaboring the point. Check it out.
It occurs to me that many comedians have served as truthsayers these last few decades and they continue. George Carlin is a name that pops into my mind. There have been some great ones.
All that is hidden is coming out now. Truthsayers abound as well as those whose mission is to mislead. Be wary of any message that contains fear. There can be truthful messages that can be a mite fearful but the purpose will always be love. Pure messages from source will never contain fear. We are being inundated with information right now, some truth is disturbing. Still it feels right. What opens our eyes, also, increases our capacity to love.
If we remember that our choice is to follow fear or love and we choose love. We will be okay.
Everything is great here at Laughing Water Farm. Jamie is back to her old self. She is always working at something. If it isn't carpentry or cabinet making, it is an art project. Her relaxation consist, mostly, of researching on the internet. Many of our Fall chores have been completed. We still need to dig potatoes and I need to get my pullets joined with the adult chickens. Our construction project is nearing completion.
I need to get at my dishes.

HOW ARE WE DOING?
Halloween is a quiet festival for us. We live in the country, ten miles away from the nearest town. We often have no tricks-and-treaters. Over the years, there has been children in the neighborhood and they grow up or move away. Currently we have one family with children that lives close by and they stopped over. Candy for the children and a libation for the parents. We carve a pumpkin and buy candy just in case. Of course, we buy something we like as we know we will have leftovers.
Many of us are working diligently on our self-improvement projects. I feel I need to reiterate, don't trap yourself in self judgement. Self-judgement can be hidden; you may not be aware that you are doing it. Our ego likes to continue evaluation of ourselves and it especially likes to lure us into thoughts or behavior that we, are trying to modify, and then condemn us for our weakness. What we think of as backsliding, will happen, again and again. Know that that is impossible. We don't really back slide because every time we cycle through one of these supposed back sliding events we learn and we learn and we learn some more. Some things are just very engrained, they have become very familiar and habitual. Don't regret that it takes continual practice to get over it.
We need to be lighthearted about it. Know that Source sees us as perfect already. Your creator knows we are perfect. Source made us perfect. Our separation is an illusion. All those so called blemishes, warts, flaws etc., that we picked up along the way, don't really exist.
There is never, never, never, need for discouragement. You are worthy of paradise period. Any comment on your worthiness is an ego judgement. It is a lie. Intention in this regard is everything. We will enter paradise together. The Earth is rising out of the old duality and we are rising with her. Sure there are a few folks who refuse to give up the old ways, who for whatever reason won't perceive a loving world. They will continue evolving in a world of duality and they will eventually join us.
Despite how the world may look, on a day to day basis, love is increasing at a phenomenal rate. Look for it. You will see it. If you can't quite see it, just wait, there are some eye opening events just on the horizon.
We need to remind ourselves over and over again. Don't judge ourselves. Of course, the key is, as long as we are willing to judge others, we will judge ourselves.
We have heard over and over again that everything is inside. We need to take time to be quiet. When we quiet our minds we will feel the peace and if we look for the love, we will feel it well up. We are love, we are perfect love and we are all connected through our heart centers. We are one,
