LET'S BEGIN
It is cool and dreary out, but no snow!
That storm, carrying a foot of snow, went far South of us. It is a
big storm and will hit Chicago. Southern Minnesota is getting dumped
on. We are grateful, here on Laughing Water Farm, we still have a
fringe of snow, here and there, and are happy we are not getting dumped
on. We can still dream of an early Spring.
And that checkbook error, I was
fretting over; turns out it was a bank error. They corrected it
before I had a chance to alert them. They dropped two small checks [actually debits],
when they went from one monthly statement to the next. I checked it
on-line and saw that they retrieved them. It is only the second time,
in my rather lengthy life, I found a bank error. The first time it
was in my favor too, and it was before the age of computers. It is
hard to understand how a computer program could have dropped two items: are there humans involved?
I want to discuss ways, we can start
over, in our relationship with Planet Earth. {Of course, key is our
relationships, with each other, and ourselves} However, as crazy as
we may be, let us start with our planet and how we relate to it.
Years ago, I had the dream of Healing
Centers, whose purpose would be to reorient ourselves to living
sanely and close to the Earth. I envisioned a collection of healers
coming together and providing their services to folks without charge.
These healers would be of all persuasions; from the ordinary to the
obscure. Whether it would be laying on of hands or removing an
appendix – all approaches to healing would be included. Folks would
get a preliminary introduction to what was available and the patient
would decide the course of treatment. Guidance would be available,
but there would be as little expert/dummy scenarios as possible.
I imagined the healing centers,
surrounded by organic gardens that would produce the food for the
group. I thought folks, who were being healed, could contribute
freely, what they may have to offer. If they had no material
substance to offer they could work in the gardens, if they wished.
I imagined this group of healers to be
people, who realized they were learning/relearning themselves, and
all relationships with the patients were a two way street. The
teacher/healer learns as much or more than the student/patient.
I intuit living on our Mother Earth to
be perfect, and the remedy for anything that ails us, to be available
within a short walk from where we live. There must be herbal remedies
growing in the area that we live. There would be no need for the
mind/body separation. All illness is both.
I imagined these Healing Centers
dealing with all physical, mental and emotional situations that
afflict us. That has to include the educational and philosophical.
Now, some forty years later, I think
the need for these Learning/Healing centers is even greater. We have
gone, even further away, in our extensions from the Earth. Medicine
is in technological purgatory. In the last forty years, we have
immersed ourselves in capitalism, to the point, where profit has
eclipsed healing, as the reason for its being.
I think, folks who are waking up, need
to come together, to learn and provide education for others who are
attempting to make sense of life on Planet Earth. Of course, starting
over, means we begin without preconceived ideas, we shed our beliefs,
we give up our ideologies. The only belief that is useful, is the
belief in Love. And, that doesn't have to be a belief for long. We
can discover it easily. Nature is Love. The Energy of the Universe is
Love.
Happy Friday!
Love and Peace, Gregg
P.S. It occurs to me that some kind of entertainment centers are equally important. Folks need places where they can gather and hear music and dance. We need to learn to laugh and celebrate. We need to experience life as joyful................hey, life on Planet Earth can be a blast!

STARTING OVER
Well, our Spring Time is coming to an
end. We have the possibility of getting a foot of snow over the next
three days. We knew that Spring was not likely to come to Minnesota
this early but............ a miracle would have been nice. Last week,
as I was driving home from Ogilvie, I saw a flock of Canadian Geese
and then a quarter mile down the road I saw a flock of Tundra Swans;
in both cases they were standing, by wet spots in a field, created by
melting snow. I suppose they could have been local birds, from some
river that is kept open by a power plant, but there is nothing like
that in our immediate vicinity. If they were migratory, they probably
won't like what's coming.
I suspect it will warm up next week and
the snow won't last long. I am getting a late start. I was fooling
around trying to get my checkbook to balance. I differ from the bank
by $22, it is in my favor, but still I like it to come out to the
penny. I can't find the error. Then, I was about to begin, when Jamie
and Noah started to discuss the world situation, in the dining room,
which is through a doorway but only a few feet from my ears. I had to
listen and contribute now and then.
I decided I was hungry and had some
brunch and put my dishes on to soak; now, at Noon, I am ready to
begin.
Anybody, [including me] who is now
absolutely sure of what is going on, is in for a rude shock. It isn't
just current events that we are ignorant about, it is our whole
history. Our history has been created to shape how we think. No field
of historical knowledge is free from distortion. Those who are into
power and control have manipulated everything they could.
I don't know when our awakening began,
it accelerated in the 60s and 70s. There have always been, a few
people, who saw the truth, that we were living in an illusion created
by those who would manage us; some of them attempted to wake us up,
others separated themselves; became hermits or joined an ashram.
I talked about this several times
before, and I know from face to face contact, many folks agree with
this basic premise; that we know nothing. Okay, maybe not nothing.
However, compared to what we would perceive if we weren't, almost
forcefully, meant to keep blinders on, it isn't much. It is very
hard, to think for ourselves, once we embrace an ideology, whether it
be secular or religious. The current political storm is filled with
misinformation from all sides.
How hard would it be to start over?
What if we agreed, that everything we thought we knew, was suspect?
What if we agreed to suspend all our beliefs?
Okay, we are standing on the Earth. Our
Earth is the only real thing we know. We are in these bodies looking
out on the world. We intuit we are more than bodies. The only truth,
we can see from our history, is that we are creators, and we can
create with love or fear. We can look around us and see what fear can
create. We can dream of a future created by love.
Can't each one of us decide,
individually, we will, from here forward, hold only loving thoughts
and feelings? Sure it is a journey, but we can embark anytime. Our
egos, which are always alert for fear, will antagonize us; sometimes
we will backslide. However, making the intent moves us all in the
direction of a sane world.
We have a great deal to learn about how
to live on this beautiful Earth. We really, really need to start
over. Perhaps, we will discover, that love is the energy of the
universe. If we begin with love, with the intent not to deviate from
a loving path; perhaps we will discover, what the world could be like.
Let us talk more about, starting over, on Friday.

PLANT A GARDEN
It is a little dreary out. It looks
like it might rain. I am not complaining. It is 50 F, for February,
that is fantastic. Our snow is almost gone. Last night it stayed
above freezing, one could see the difference this Morning. Folks, a
little to the South of us, had above freezing nights for several
days. We, didn't, it was getting into the 50s everyday, but it took
the Sun a couple hours, to begin the melting, when it got down to the
twenties most nights.
What are we going to talk about, if we
don't talk about the elephant in the living room? Hmmmmm- do even
know anything about the elephant yet? Not as much as we think. We
need to wait and see. Everything is coming out. All that was hidden
will emerge. Much will be very shocking and it will, also, be
freeing.
There are fear fomenters everywhere.
Can we observe the show without fear? If not, don't pay attention; we
need your love. We can not make sense of the elephant's thrashing
around; don't try to. We will see a pattern emerge. But not yet!
We have been living in a world, created
by the most negative aspects, of our egos. That is how manipulation
works. The manipulators invite us to be afraid. Our egos are always
alert for danger, so they attract fear. The manipulators can then
steer us in the direction they want. All war, chaos, and negativity
of all varieties, comes from the terrified egos.
If we are to create a world from our
hearts, and the healthy parts of our minds, we need to avoid fear
thoughts. Fear thoughts disguise themselves as protection-they never
are. Actions, taken out of fear, do not have the desired results.
How can we bring our own lives in line
with our dreams? What can we do to allow ourselves to be happy? What
can we do to bring sanity to a crazy world? {You know what I will say-
we need to love ourselves}. "Okay, okay, I am in the process of doing
that. What else can we do?"
Let us begin, with a small piece of
this crazy world, and make some repair. Let's start with how we feed
ourselves. We can't, by ourselves, remove all the poisons from our
food or redeem industrial agriculture. We can, however plant a
garden. Even folks in the city can plant gardens. Check out the
gardens in Detroit, in what used to be, urban areas. People are
gardening in cities all around the world.
One of the most intimate relationships,
we have on this Earth, is with food. As with everything that is
intimate, love makes the difference. How could food raised on,
ravaged, chemically laden ground, tended by exploited people, be as nutritious as the food we
raise ourselves; every step, a step imbued with love.
February, the perfect time for planning
a garden; hey, do we want to mow all that grass? Wouldn't a nice
vegetable garden fit right there? Wouldn't it be nice to get our
hands in the Earth? Every evening, when our days work is done, we can
reconnect with the Earth and discharge the days tension; our Mother
Earth always welcomes us.
Those tomatoes, that lettuce, those
carrots, they will bring into your body, more than chemicals on a
chart; they will give you the Love of the Earth. It is a
relationship, a very intimate relationship. Our relationship with
food needs to be honored. If we can't personally raise our own food,
we can buy it from people we trust. Market gardening is
proliferating. If we trust our intuition, and do a little
investigation, we will find a good source.
We are going through a very chaotic
time. We need to keep grounded. A nice garden is the perfect solution
for many of us.

LAST GASPS OF THE CABAL
Today, promises to be the day, we have
some significant melting of snow. We have some large patches of bare
ground in our South pasture; the North pasture is still snow covered.
Our chicken coop borders the North pasture and abuts our front yard.
The chickens have no bare ground to run around on. They restrict
themselves to a small strip in front of the coop and an area under a
lilac bush. The deepest snow seems to be concentrated in our front
yard, and the path to our door is very slippery. If the forecast, of
three days in the fifties holds true, we should be occupying a
different world soon.
No no no! I don't want to talk about
it. But when Rome is burning all around us, how can I not. What I say
does not nullify my admonition to not take sides and stay out of the
fracas. Our time is much better spent in creating the future. I won't
talk about the craziness again until things are more clear.
This is how it looks: the cabal
attracted all those greedy for power and money and included the banks
and major corporations. They were led by a group, that has dreamed of
a one world government, ruled by an elite. There have been many
people who have dreamed of a paradisaical one world. However, these
folks dreamed of a world of slaves with themselves in charge. Their
power base was the Western World and their military arm was the U.S.
They planned on bringing the world's people under control by
controlling the world's energy resources. They attempted to get
control of Russian oil after the USSR crumbled. They managed to
create several oligarch billionaires, but failed in their ultimate
strategy. They turned all their attention on the Middle East. They
destroyed several countries with their proxy armies and fomented
revolutions, besides open warfare in Iraq and Afghanistan. They
couldn't bring Syria to its knees and they failed to goad Iran into
an aggressive act which would justify invasion. The people of the
U.S., and the rest of the World, would not support, full scale, all
out war. Our proxy armies could not do the job. The cabals grip, on
the world's opinion, began to slip. Government after government began
to question what was going on. It was obvious the cabal would not
succeed. {At the same time the cabal was collapsing, the
consciousness of the people was rising-folks began to see what was
going on.} The cabal captured both political parties in the U.S. by
getting significant leaders to do their bidding. I don't know, how
aware they were, that they were being manipulated.
Many who joined the cabal for their own
self interest [many corporations] began to realize, that the cabal
elite, had no interest in them, except to use them in their attempts
to control the world. They [the corporations] were acting as minions
and had no place in the cabals ultimate dream. They too, were
destined for slavery; and indeed, they had been fulfilling that role
all along by doing the cabals bidding.
When the cabal reached a certain point
in their collapse, these minions formed a faction and began to
undermine the cabal. The cabal is apolitical, and would have been
happy with any candidate, of any party, as long as they could find a
way to control some major decisions. It didn't turn out as they
planned. Nobody, I know, including myself, supports the man who won
the election; but the cabal hates him. Does he represent the
rebellious faction of the cabal? Perhaps; all that I can see, is that
it, is all out war.
We know that this inter-cine battle
will weaken both sides. We, also know, that there have always been,
decent folks in government who genuinely want to serve. They exist in
all branches. With the weakening of the cabal, power vacuums occur,
many real patriots may emerge. What is happening has nothing to do
with our party loyalties.
Those who seek power, always use fear
to manipulate and control. We can see it happening, right now, with
the attempts to make Russia the bogeyman. We want to bring peace to
the world- not conflict.
The cabal has been losing its power because the consciousness of the people has been rising. They could not get enough support, for all out war, because they could not create enough fear. Let us not give them the fear they need in their last desperate grasps for power.
That is why I think we need to stay out
of the fight. We must not give them any negative emotions.
It is our love for one another that
will usher in a new world. Let us spend our time creating paradise in
our own lives. We can enjoy the show, if we have stomach for it; let
us not get our feelings involved.
I don't want to talk about this again
until it is much more clear [or over].
Have a great Friday! Let us celebrate
our love for each other and the glorious, nurturing Earth.

LABELS
We are having a cool day. We have been
flooded by some Arctic air. But hey, cool but not cold. It is 24.6 F
now and is supposed to get to 30. The only day this week, it will
stay below freezing. The cool temp belies how nice it is. It is calm,
Sunny and beautiful. The chickens love it and swarmed out this
Morning. However, they only have teeny patches of ground that is not
covered with snow, that they can scratch in. It is supposed to get
into the 50s this week; those patches of ground should get bigger.
I am getting a late start. I have been
listening to some podcast and looking at various things on the
internet; stuff about the war between the Cabal factions. When things
get clearer, I will discuss it.
In the meantime, let us just observe,
let us not enter the fray; we don't need to take sides. We don't see
enough to really know what is going on. The conflict on the surface,
does not adequately reflect, what is going on behind the scenes. I
know, our strong opinions and beliefs are hard to back away from. I
am not suggesting we suspend them, just allow for the fact, that
there is much we don't know.
We have work to do, imagining a new
world. A world where all are equal, all are free, all are valued and
loved, all are free to create and express their gifts; no one is
without the necessities, for a healthy, happy, fulfilling existence.
What would our systems and institutions look like?
We will have a hard time imagining this
world as long as we hang on to our labels. We have been herded into
pens and labeled. We have talked about this before; we have
professional, political, personality, ageist, sexist, and you name it
labels. They may have began to describe something, but they gel into
something else. We are not our labels. Yes, we are all wonderfully
beautiful, unique beings. Our differences are great. When labels are
used to describe those beautiful differences, they are fine. However,
at this time, those labels only describe the pen we are from and the
limitations in the scope of our thinking.
Labels have become very heavy
judgements, as soon as we hear someone is a Liberal, Conservative, Protestant, Catholic, Muslim et. al. to ad nauseam, a part of our
brain shuts down and a new part opens up. We don't see the person
anymore, we perceive according to set of beliefs and expectations we
have. Some of us are flexible, in our perception, and others of us, are
more rigid. I am not sure any of us escape this completely. We can
not see beyond the end of our nose as long as we hang on to
judgements. What did the world look like, before we were imbued with
the thoughts and biases, of those who raised us? Is it possible to
see with fresh eyes? How do very young children see the world?
It may seem impossible to give up all
the programming we endured since birth. We get pretty comfortable
with our belief systems and are not about to question them. There may
be a reason to question them- we do live in mad house- have we
contributed to the craziness?
A good place to start is giving up our
labels. Let us catch ourselves when we categorize others by their
labels. Let us watch how we label ourselves. It is a good practice.
It will help open the heart and the mind.
None of us are labels. We are all great
spirits of light. Underneath this ego facade is love. That is all we
are.

FEELS LIKE SPRING
It is a gorgeous day! It is Sunny and
40.8 F. The temperature has climbed 20 degrees since I got up. I bet
it will be close to 50 this afternoon. I would like to be outside. I
need to take a trip to the barn and make sure there is enough bedding
down for the sheep; lambing will begin any time. All the pathways are
glazed with ice. I did the slippery path dance this Morning.
Fortunately I didn't get passed the swinging of the arms phase and I
was able to stay erect. It has been above freezing during the day and
colder at night, so we have icy pathways. We still have three or four
inches of snow in most places. We have to create new paths, when we
walk anywhere, to keep from falling on our tush.
The night before last I woke up and my
teeth didn't fit together. It seemed my lower jaw was jutted forward.
I had been noticing a little discomfort in the hinge of my jaw the
last few days. It wasn't painful, but something made me aware of it.
We don't usually think of random parts of our body. It was disturbing
in the middle of the night. Very strange. In the Morning it seemed
better, I was able to get my teeth to mesh, but there was a mild
discomfort. This Morning, they again didn't mesh, but their was
absolutely no discomfort. I haven't tried to force them to mesh. I
anticipate they will gradually correct themselves.
Do you suppose the world situation
caused me to clinch my jaw and caused some swelling at the joint? It
is the only thing I can think of that would cause it. Can one clinch
their jaw without knowing it?
Although, I don't like to think my
equanimity, was disturbed so greatly, that I would clinch my jaw
unconsciously; I prefer that interpretation, to any other I could
think of. Jamie has a dentist appointment today, I asked her to run
it by him, perhaps it is not an unusual thing.
I am very peaceful right now. Folks are
waking up. Some of the websites I visit have thousands of viewers and
are translatable to ten or more languages. There are many great books
that are receiving huge readerships. The Main Stream Media is not
representative of the peoples consciousness. I know we are troubled
by the recent election, but when you see it as a giant rejection [I
was going to use those two words] it all makes sense. Both parties
have been spinning around in la la land, as the country deteriorates.
I must not have been, as confident of a
positive outcome as I portrayed, or I wouldn't have been clinching my
teeth. Let's not talk about the craziness anymore. Let's start
creating the world we want, right now. Let's plan our gardens. Let's
imagine what a decent education system would look like. Let us
imagine a decent health system. There is no end to what we could
imagine. Let us do everything we can to reduce the craziness in our
own lives. Everything begins with loving ourselves. When we love
ourselves sufficiently, we will choose what enhances our life, we
won't bring into our life sphere, what is degrading. The most basic
thing is thoughts. Then there is all the material things like food,
medicines, etc. Can you imagine the impact we would have if we
refused to buy any food that wasn't healthy and chemical free? If
everyone, who could, started their own vegetable plot, and shared
with their neighbors, we could bring down one of the most destructive
industries on the Earth. Imagine all the chemicals corporate
agriculture uses, consider the waste of water and the pollution.
Consider the amount of energy and pollution created, transporting
foods all over the country [world], foods that could be raised better
and healthier in our neighborhoods.
Let us discuss it further. When we
truly love ourselves; all our decisions will be loving.
I need to wash dishes and then take a
look at my barn.

JUST A LITTLE ANXIETY
The temperature just hit 32 degrees F.
We emerged from the latest Arctic blast; hopefully the last for this
Winter. It was 20 when I awoke, it has been warming up nicely; but,
only hazy Sun. It is forecast to reach 41 today.
I don't have the foggiest notion about
what I am to write about. The Sun seems to be getting brighter, maybe
that will help.
I felt brighter this Morning when I got
up. I have had some vague anxiety these last few days. A few
cocktails in the Evening helps; but I am not one that can tolerate
drinking every Evening and I have never drank as medicine. I don't
know if I should send my liquor bill to Trump or to my fellow
liberals who are having such a tantrum. I have become more peaceful.
Things need to be kept stirred up; it helps people open their eyes.
We need to do it with love. We can challenge the establishment and
keep things churning without losing our peace. We learned that from
the Great Ones; most recently from Martin Luther King and Gandhi [and
many more].
I can see that as much as we might
disagree with the current administration, it will help bring down the
behemoth of bureaucracy and ineptitude that has become the federal
government. We have this government, we can see, and the various
departments, that struggle to get things done. Meaningful changes, like
universal healthcare, affordable higher education, decent housing for
everyone, equal opportunity for all, safe air to breathe, safe food to eat, safe water to drink, etc. etc. etc. are situations
that change little. Oh sure, there is much lip service but very
little action.
MEANWHILE, the hidden government, the
deep state, goes on its merry way, creating war all over the world
and extending its corporate dictatorship to every country and person
on the planet. Oh, we cry for the poor refugees-but where is our
outcry against the forces that created the refugees? Who do we think
is responsible for the wars in the Middle East? Who do we think
funded and encouraged the rebels in Syria and Libya? I know most of
us don't identify with, the part of our government, that rules the
empire. We must open our eyes and see that it is our shadow
government that has been creating most of the problems in the world.
Most politicians, and members of the government structure, are
ignorant of the machinations of the deep state, or know about it, but
feel as helpless as we do.
It is unfair to think of us, the United
States Citizen, as part of it. It developed below our consciousness.
Little by little the empire grew without most of us noticing. There
were always people that did pay attention and much has been written
about it, but I don't think most people knew. It may be the first
empire on the planet that didn't blow its own horn and brag about its
conquest. Every time a new puppet government was put in place, there
was, the creation of the myth, that they were independent, and a
democracy to boot. At the same time, our democracy, was being
curtailed- the people had less and less to say about how their
government ruled. Perhaps, the United States is not even the
headquarters of The Cabal, but our deep state is the military arm.
This will, all be known, as the collapse continues.
Yes, the good news is The Cabal is
collapsing. They failed at their attempt to rule the world. They
disguised themselves as globalist, among other names, and had the
scheme of putting the whole world under one government. The closest I
can label the government, that they hoped for, was a Corporate
Fascism. But I don't know what they were thinking. I can't imagine
wanting to rule over unhappy people, when it would be so easy to rule
over happy people. It doesn't take much for most of us to be happy;
comfortable living, and freedom to love, think, and create as we
would.
I think this present administration is
part of our growing pains. Our present government structure needs to
crumble along with the cabal. It is okay, there are many decent
hearted, seeing folks, who currently work in the system, that will
help us rescue what is valuable. Remember real change comes from the
bottom up.
Our most important job is to find peace
in our being and radiate love to all. Our world needs our love. We
know that the world we want will emanate from our love.
Happy Friday!
Love and Peace, Gregg
P.S. It seems like whenever, I think, I
have nothing to write about. I do.

GETTING CLOSER TO NATURE
It is a remarkably beautiful day. It is
chilly. It was almost -8 F when I got up, it is now 2.3 degrees. I
wasn't looking forward to another Arctic incursion, but it is not bad
at all, I was comfortable doing the chores. I didn't let the chickens
out, I suppose I could have. They don't mind going out on a cold but
Sunny day. Their little door faces North, something to avoid if you
are building a new chicken coop, the cold air rushed in when I opened
it and I decided they didn't need to go out at the expense of
chilling down the coop. Only 2 or 3 would go out anyway. The high for
the day is supposed to be 9 F and it forecast to be -6 tonight.
My favorite weather guru claims, this is
the last of hard Winter, and we are likely to have an early Spring. A
Southwestern flow is to make its presence known tomorrow night and
above freezing highs are forecast for the rest of February. Of
course, there is the usual hedging, and who knows what March will
bring?
I got some feedback, about my last
blog, that implied many folks would not know what I was talking
about. I don't want to say anything to clarify it now. Let us wait
and see. Let's enjoy the show as much as we can. It is very
confusing. Nothing is quite as it seems. Let's do our best to stay
out of battles and not take sides hastily. We need to listen to our
intuition. Find a peaceful place and see what feels right. The world,
as we have known it, is going to crumble and it may happen quickly.
The only thing we can know for sure, is we are loving beings. We will
change the world from the bottom up. We deserve a loving world.
I said I had some ideas I wanted to
share about how we could be closer to Nature. Any one of you readers,
probably have ideas as good as mine. I think it would be good idea if
we had an event where folks camped outside for a week or two every
Summer. People in the suburbs and the country could camp out in their
yards. Folks who live in neighborhoods could have group barbecues.
Celestial events should be monitored,
and when a lunar eclipse or meteor shower is forecast, people could
stay outside and enjoy it. I remember two spectacular nights
experiencing a lunar eclipse. One evening my brother and his wife
were over. It was a splendid evening and we were sitting outside
around the campfire. We, either didn't know or had forgotten about
the eclipse, we were outside for the whole event. It was remarkable,
something I will always remember. The other event was equally
marvelous and was planned.
Schools could have gardens. The
children could learn how to plant and tend for vegetables and
flowers. They could produce food, to donate to those who were not able
to garden. The students could learn all about soil nutrients, fungi
and bacteria necessary for a healthy garden.
Schools could have Nature weeks, where
the students went out, to identify insects, butterflies and all
kinds of creeping and flying creatures, and of course plants too.
In the cities, parks, boulevards, and
vacant lots, could have garden plots, and also be used for designated
camping days.
We started separating from Nature a
long time ago and we don't realize how artificial our existence has
become. We have fragile bodies and I don't expect many of us would
like to live in igloos or tents. How about folks, who would like the
experience? What would be wrong with reserving public lands for
people who wanted an indigenous life style? Some folks might want to
live close to the Earth, year around, and many others, would enjoy
visiting people who opted for that life style. I think many of us
would benefit from a few months living in an igloo or similar
shelter. So called civilization does not have to be a one size- fits
all experience.
Then we have to ask ourselves questions
like, “Do we really need plastic”, an incredibly polluting
material both in its manufacture and its disposal? “Do we really
need all the chemicals we manufacture.” The agricultural ones are
poisoning our bodies and our environment. The medical and
pharmaceutical ones can be found in Nature without exotic
manufacture.
Nature can supply everything we need. I
love science, however, it can be used to enhance our natural
experience, rather than create extensions away from the Earth.
I will be discussing this subject
further. New vistas, of thought and experience, will open up to us,
as we learn to open our minds and hearts, to the love that surrounds
us.

THE CABAL WARS
Cool and cloudy, but there is a promise
of Winter waning. February is the Winter's month. Although it is
usually only 28 days, it can be long. Winter usually begins in
November, but we have Thanksgiving to brighten our days. December we
have Christmas. January starts out with a bang [New Years] and then
comes my birthday. February has Lincoln's and Washington's birthdays
and Valentines Day; still, it is not enough to ameliorate Winter's
drear. However, we know March comes soon and March is anybody's
guess. I have seen it 40 below zero and 70 above. What will it be
this year?
I think my amaryllis will bloom by
Valentines Day. That will brighten our living room. The garden
catalogs are piling up- it is dream time. The sheep haven't begun to
lamb yet. I hope they can hold off, until we get through this next
cold snap. It is supposed to be below zero Thursday Morning, and then
a warm up begins, that the forecasters say, might last through
February.
I don't have a crystal ball. I have
said before that I am a terrible prophet. Yet, most of the time, I am
not fearful concerning the outcome of the world's struggle. We are
experiencing major labor pains, underneath the chaos a new world is
emerging. The Cabal is collapsing and the infighting has begun. The
faction that wanted, everything to stay the same, and continue in the
attempt, at complete domination, has lost its grip. This faction
wanted to keep the lid on all esoteric knowledge, and labelled
anything counter to their proclaimed belief, a conspiracy theory.
Much has been hidden. Much has been swept under the rug. We have been
led to believe much untruth and half-truth with the control of this
faction.
The new faction's ulterior motives are
probably not better than the first. However, part of their domination
technique, is to challenge the beliefs promulgated by the first
faction. New information will come out that will challenge our
present belief systems.
In order to awaken we need to see how
we have been hoodwinked into believing things that are simply not
true. These mis-beliefs occur in all fields; medicine, astronomy,
energy, horticulture, etc. to put it succinctly; our beliefs have
been shaped to produce maximum profit for a few.
The war between these two factions,
will throw into question, everything we believe. Neither will come
out a winner, but our eyes will be opened.
We need to quit looking to authority
for what to believe. We have our direct experience. We have nature.
We have our intuition. Trusting our intuition is tricky, at
first, because our belief systems have been corrupted at a deep
level. Know that when we ask ourselves a question, the ego speaks
first in a loud voice, our intuition speaks with a quiet voice and
may nudge rather than use words. At some level, we know the truth.
The church separated, Nature from God, in
an attempt to gain power over the people. They made god into a little
potentate with the temerity to judge people. Most of us see the
craziness of this. If we understand God to be everything there is. We
know, everything to be God. That is what Oneness means. It can't be
separated.
For several thousand years we have been
treating Nature as an alien being. We have denied the 'Beingness' of
Nature. We are not in the position to see truth until we re-emerge
with Nature.
I have some thoughts on this dilemma.
Let's talk about it on Wednesday.
The awakening continues.

THE ILLUSION
It is a beautiful Morning. Bright Sun,
though cool. It was -5.5 F, when I arose, but it is now 11.8. The world
around us is warming nicely. I am getting a late start. I did my
crossword puzzle, then I did my outside chores. I read a few things
on the internet. I stared out the window, watching two deer, trim up
some trees, on the far side of the pasture, accompanied by a blue jay,
flitting through the sunlight. It is a marvelous, peaceful Winter
day; do I have any more to say?
Well, I might admit that I haven't been
taking my own advice, at least not all the time, I must confess I
didn't just watch the bad movie unfold on the world stage, it
sometimes triggered emotions that were not necessarily peaceful to me
or the world. I have been fairly peaceful much of the time. Today I
am GOOD. I don't know if I had a breakthrough or there has been a
subtle change in the presentation of the uproar; but this Morning I
could see the amusement. Outrage, anger, attack, only perpetuates the
craziness; humor helps dissolves it, and takes some of the danger away. I saw
some outrageously funny memes.
Resistance, and insistence on sanity,
need not be angry; it can be loving and it certainly can be
entertaining. The world will shape to our loving intent.
However, I think it all serves to help
us awake. We are bound to have some negative emotions when we first
realize how crazy the world is. We gradually realize the craziness
isn't new. It has been there all the time; but, this is the time it
its clearly manifest. It is part of the evolvement; it is like an
infection that has to come to a head before it gets better.
Waking up seems to come in two stages
[remember your getting this from an old guy that lives South of
Ogilvie- who is just cracking open his own eyes]. First, we seem to
realize, just how crazy the world is; we see that we have been
manipulated to interpret our world in a way that benefits a few, and
nothing we believe, can be trusted. We sense, that we have created an
illusion, that can trap us if we don't question our seeing. We
realize that fear was used to manipulate our egos into believing
there was such a thing as higher and lower and the hierarchies we
created were bogus. We begin to see how love operates and how it
creates a marvelously different illusion and we can indeed see the
love in each other. We awaken to 'see', that the world we thought was
true, is our creation. To some extent we learn 'to be in it, but not
of it'. Although, we see it is not 'real', we have no choice but to
live in it and try to uplift ourselves and those around us. We
may not think of ourselves, as victims of it anymore, but we can't
avoid suffering. We know, we are both the actors and the directors,
of the movie, but we can't get out of our seats and certainly are not
able to get out of the theater.
In the second stage of awakening, we
can step out of the theater. That is what the Great Ones were able to
do, then they could see everything was love. When Siddhartha awoke,
he proclaimed, “It is all suffering”. We cannot avoid it when we
are still in the theater. When we are fully awake we will be able to
step outside the illusion and 'see'. We will see reality- a world
created by the only energy there is- love. A world created without
any distortion of the ego. We won't just conclude, intellectually,
that all are one; we will be able to experience it. We will accept
ourselves, as the creators that we are, and will create out of love.
Every time we smile, every time we
laugh, every time we wish, someone well in our hearts; we move closer
to awakening. It is wonderful, to fall in love, with humanity; we can
do it. There is nothing else.
Happy Friday! Celebrate the love in
your heart and that in your neighbor!

THE THOUGHT FOR TODAY
It was over 25F when I went to bed at
12:45AM and it was 6F when I got up; quite a drop. It is almost three
hours later and it is still only 8 degrees. A slow warm-up for this
time of year; the sun is shining brightly, it is beautiful outside
and it didn't even feel particularly chilly when I did the chores.
However, I am eager for Winter to be over.
This does seem to be the Winter of our
discontent. We have become so divisive, polarized and discontented.
We are wearing our labels more ostentatiously than usual. We don't
see how we are locked into pens, and accepting of opinions and ideas,
without critical thought. Where do the thoughts and ideas come from
that we accept so readily?
We like to be with people who agree
us. We like the company, camaraderie and protection of a group. We
all like it and I think it is basic to being human. It's great! The
problem arises, when we begin to accept concepts, without thinking
them through for ourselves. When fear is introduced [and it is often
very hidden] we tend to glam onto ideas that we think will protect
us- they don't- they make us more vulnerable.
We end up living in pens labelled
Liberal, Conservative, Independent, Socialist. Oh, these pens are not
just political; some are labeled Doctor, Teacher, Social Worker,
Dentist, Scientist. Belonging to a group is great, we all belong to
several different kinds. It can be rewarding and enriching.
These pens can resemble prisons; with
high walls, blocking out, all thought, from other groups and locking
us into one peculiar way of thinking. We can accept a whole array of
concepts without question. This has always been a problem in our
society, certain professions lock themselves into certain ways of
thinking in response to a threat or for self-interest.
Interestingly enough, the herd, in one
pen, can see the errors of thinking, of the other pen members, but
become deaf and blind to their own errors of thought. The variable of
fear is crucial, to how locked in and bull-headed, the members of the
pen become.
This has always been part of the human
condition; without the introduction of fear, it is not a bad thing.
We are born into groups called families and that is great! {Introduce
fear and they can become The Hatfields and McCoys.} All through life we
accrue to people with similar ideas, wishes and wants. It is
comforting. It helps us feel safe in a variable world. We create
professions, societies, social groups of all kinds. It is all good.
UNTIL, this natural propensity, we
have, is used to manipulate us. We all have egos. Egos are on the
alert for fear. They have been sensitized to the fear of being less
than their neighbor. This fear has been exploited over and over by
those who wish to be in control. There is nothing, the wounded,
fearful, ego likes better, than to be self-riotous in respect to some
other group.
We cannot 'see', when we allow
ourselves, to be herded into pens. All through history this has been
the favorite tactic of those who wish to maintain control.
Waking up and 'seeing' is learning to
resist being penned up. We need to see for ourselves. We need to
understand how much of our thinking is influenced by fear. It may
take close examination. Fear can be very subtle and disguised. Our
life experience has injected a fear of unworthiness, this fear is
universal, we all have struggled with it. Many of us have lived
successfully despite it; few have actually expunged it from their being.
Waking up is seeing that everyone is
equal, and higher and lower, do not exist. Many of us can say it;
however, we must know it. Our real power comes from, not thinking we
are better, but knowing we can lift up those who need lifting. WE ARE
ALL EQUAL!
