SHINING OUR LIGHT

Well, I am not beginning with any great moment of clarity, like I had Friday morning. No, nobody slipped anything in my coffee. I thought, that some readers, with psychedelic experiences, would say, "I know what he is up to." Nope, as Rom Dass's Guru said, "That is the way to visit the saint, not be the saint." That is a para-phrase, I am sure, but that is the idea.

We have all had moments when everything was clearer. We can be sitting on the lakeshore looking over the water, our minds at rest, participating in the beauty of the world, when we begin to see the perfection in everything. We will eventually understand that we don't need to have some amazingly beautiful setting to have this experience. It is available to us always. We live in this illusion, a relative world of judgement, when we see through the veil, to Reality, we see Heaven on Earth.

We see ourselves as how the illusionary world defines us. We probably have varied definitions of ourselves, and we have experimented seeing ourselves, different ways. Yet, however we see ourselves, it is a product of the illusion. We don't have the point of view, of seeing ourselves, as part of Source.

What if we saw ourselves as Unconditional Love sees us? What if we saw ourselves as great beings of light?  Our mentors teach us, we are in reality, great beams of light, expanded beings having a temporary experience of limitation. We wanted to experience what it would be like to create separately from Source. Wow! We found out.

We have been struggling to get back to Source for what, in our time, is ages. We are tired. But, know what, we don't need to struggle, we don't need to wait. Reality beckons through a very thin veil.

We can make the decision that we are great beings of light, creative beings, as we create a loving world around us, we thin the veil for everyone.

There is a channeled blog titled, HEAVEN LETTERS, today's recommendation is to let your light shine. Have the intent to beam out your light. The idea is to know yourself as Source [God] sees you. Allow yourself, to be, who you are meant to be. Let yourself beam splendidly on the world.

We don't need to wait until we perceive the change in the world. We change the world by perceiving perfection around us. How, and what, are we thinking this moment? Choose to align your thoughts with the creator. It is simply a matter of choosing, the the most unconditionally loving thought.

Okay, It might not seem that simple to do. I know what it is like to be plagued by negativity. However, as we accept that our thoughts are our responsibility, it gets easier and easier to shepherd them. We are learning who we are. We can be determined to beam our light unto the world. We don't have to be perfect. We don't have to be saints. We are great, just the way we are. Let your light shine.

CLARITY

My morning is perfect. I would have difficulty trying to describe it. The weather is perfect; cool, sunny, and a moderate breeze. But I am not talking about the weather, or anything else outside me. I am having a moment of clarity. I see everything as perfect. All is progressing as it needs to. I see it without thought; without conclusion. I see it with a deep sense of peace. I have a huge smile on my face and I feel an intensity that is beyond happiness.

I say it is a moment of clarity. I hope it last longer than a moment, but I know, I need to have no attempt, to hang on to it. Any attempt to, freeze it in time, will cause it to fade away. I have had glimmers of these feelings before, during meditation etc., but this is the most intense I have ever experienced. {I am still writing in the present tense-although the intensity has lessened it leaves me in a very peaceful place}.

Before I write my blog I often close my eyes and ask for guidance. This Morning I was doing that, and a parade of recent frustrations were passing through my mind, and suddenly from within came this incredible feeling of perfection. I could see without thought. I had an intense sense of knowing, but without words or shape.

This experience is incredibly reassuring. It tells me that everything is indeed going as planned, even though, the world looks horrible. I, always, hang on to the positive, and attempt to focus on the love, that is emerging in the world, but sometimes it seems like an intellectual process, and I am fighting doubt, that lies in the recesses of my mind.

This experience leaves no doubt. ALL IS WELL.

Later on, I might have to come back and read this, so I can remember what it feels like, to know all is well. And that it is okay.

We have one foot in each world. We are beginning to see through the illusion and realize, a world made of love, exist side by side, with this world made by fear. When we are in this illusion [I like to call it the relative world] we are immersed in fear thoughts. We need to keep our minds focused away from them. It is sometimes difficult to maintain the peace we are entitled to.

We need to know with every smile, with every loving thought, we are thinning the veil that separates us from the real world [the one created by love].

I don't have more to say right now. I hope to get some fence mending finished this afternoon in preparation for getting more sheep.

I wish everyone, a moment of clarity, like I just experienced.

Happy Friday!

NATURE

Yesterday wasn't the first hot day of the season, but it was the first hot day, that didn't cool off when the Sun went down. The temperature was in the high eighties and it stayed over seventy until midnight. It cooled off by Morning. It is 10AM and still in the sixties. I opened up several windows last night and it was delightfully cool in the house when I got up. Unfortunately, I am going to have to close the windows again tonight as it is going to get down to the fifties and it won't get out of the sixties tomorrow. Well, that is typical Minnesota weather.

Most of my hens, lay their eggs, in the allotted space in the chicken coop. I have two, that have other ideas. One was laying her eggs in the barn and one in the old chicken coop. I found the place in the barn, on top of some hay bales, and started collecting her eggs. She got miffed and started laying her eggs in the old chicken coop, in the same box, as the other hen. They lay different colored eggs, one deep tan and one ecru, so I can easily tell them apart. Well the one, that laid the lighter colored egg, decided she wasn't going to have any of that, and started laying somewhere else. For awhile I saw her every Morning tear out of the chicken coop and head in the direction of the barn, but I couldn't find where she was laying her eggs.

Last evening I saw her out scratching around, long after the other chickens were roosting. That is unusual. I figured she must be setting on her eggs somewhere and she just left them for a few minutes. When hens are setting they leave their eggs only once or twice a day and only for a couple minutes. There is an exception and that is when it is very hot, they seem to know, they can stay off their eggs longer. I expect we will see her come into the yard, one Morning, parading a dozen or so balls of fluff around her. A hen and her chicks are one of the marvels of nature.

I am entranced with Nature. I am in awe of the intelligence of Nature. I am in love with Nature. It is painful to see how separate we have become from Nature. How did it happen? How could we think we know more than Nature? Why would we want to control and manipulate it?

When we observe the perfection of Nature, and marvel at the intelligence displayed, in every cell, in every molecule, in every atom; how can we have the arrogance, to think it is okay, to manipulate the cell structure or atomic structure for our own greed? How can we believe that GMO crops are okay? Our ability to manipulate Nature has far out stripped our wisdom. Our scientific advances are amazing. What we can, and could do, are astounding. Our wisdom? Where is it? We are stuck worshiping the false gods of money and power. We won't have the wisdom required to interfere with Nature as long as we are stuck. And we are stuck indeed.

Look what happened when we learned how to split the atom. We created a destructive device with the potential of destroying life on the planet. We have a waste problem that has stymied us. We have power plants, dotting the earth, that are disasters waiting to happen. If we had wisdom would we have done that?

If we are to acquire wisdom we must start thinking with our whole capability. We have worshiped the egoic mind long enough. It is time we thought with our heart as well as our brain.

Our science should not separate us from Nature. Our science is Nature and Nature is science. We cannot escape Nature, we are one with it.

In order to use science with wisdom, we must learn to appreciate Nature. We must fall in love with it. We must appreciate how awe struck we are! We just nibble around the edges, of the huge subject of Nature, like fleas on a dog. We forget that we are Nature. There can be no separation.

When we really appreciate what Nature is; when we have found our loving place in it, then we will have the wisdom to manipulate it. But, will we want to?

WAKING UP

The last couple weeks, I have had the urge to write about waking up. I have resisted it. What do I know about waking up? I am not awake. I want to be. I have learned a lot of intellectual things about the process. I am convinced it is going to happen. I see evidence all around me, that folks are seeing more and more.

As I understand it, to be fully awake is: being always in the present; being completely without fear; seeing only love; understanding and experiencing Oneness; being completely without judgement and, I am sure, there is more that is not coming to mind.

Many of us have been awakening for some time. We realize that the world we see is an illusion created by our group perception. We know it is an artificial world, that we were manipulated into making, for the benefit of the few. We know that the manipulators used fear and divisiveness as their major tools.

We assume that the 'real' world exist behind the illusion, available to anybody who can see, only love. Many of us had glimpses of that 'real' world.

So, once we see we live in an artificial world maintained by fear; what keeps us here? One thing is, we created an illusion, so real seeming, that we cannot fully believe it is not real. We are part of the creative source, after all; we wouldn't create a puny illusion. The illusion is made to interact with our five senses; it is difficult to see anything unreal about it.

Yet, if it is because of intuition, influence of our mentors, personal experiences or logic [no loving Creative Source would create a world like this], we have come to the conclusion that it can't be real.

What holds us back? We struggle, when the opposite of struggling is necessary. Struggling, striving, fighting it, all reinforces the illusion and keeps us captive. We can sink into our inner being and experience peace and vastness. It is hard for many of us to achieve a meditative state. When we try and it seems like we cannot succeed; accept the idea that we may be doing better than we think. A quiet mind happens. Those who are creative [all of us] have experienced a quiet mind in the process of bringing things to fruition. We all have a little different way of achieving a quiet mind; looking at a Sunset, weeding a garden, basking in the Sun, walking in the woods, playing solitaire, etc. We need to experience the quiet as often as we can everyday.

What is our resistance to living in the moment? Why do we hold on to the past? We have been lectured, interminably, about the necessity of giving up the past, if we are going to wake up. The good and the bad; they both influence our creation of the future. It is obvious why we want to give up negative thoughts of the past, we don't want them to influence our future. How about the pleasing past memories? Do we want to dwell on them? Do they create a positive sense in our present or do they show us what might be lacking now? Do they create longing? When we are fully in this moment, do we really know what the content of the next moment should be?

The Awakening will happen! Perhaps sooner than we know. We are looking forward to knowing Peace. We want to be embraced by unconditional love. We all want to experience living without fear.

Are we ready? We are going to have to give up all our petty judgements and prejudices [some we don't even realize we have]. We have to give up our attachment to worry. Gosh, we love to worry. What's going to happen tomorrow; are we up to the challenge; are our kids going to be okay; I can't begin to cover all the things we like to worry about.

Freedom. Freedom is something we don't yet understand. We have not experienced it in this artificial world and we are wary of it. We unconsciously equate it with negativity; our overseers have made sure of that. Those who profit from this artificial world have striven, to inculcate in us, an innate fear of freedom. We must bring this fear of freedom to our consciousness and reject it. It is nonsense, loving beings do not create negativity when they know they are free. Negativity comes from the slavery we have experienced.

How are we to be ready for awakening? Love is the only answer, I know. Every time we find our mind straying to a negative [or past] thought; we bring our mind to the present and remind ourselves to love. Love what is in front of us. There is nothing but love. If it is not love it is part of the illusion. There is no need to dwell in or study the illusion. It will be over as soon as we quit focusing on it.

The most important way to get ready for the awakening is to love ourselves. It is our disregard for ourselves that keeps us stuck. As we learn to know ourselves, the illusion falls away. Whenever we are not loving ourselves, we are paying attention to some remnant of unworthiness or incompetence. It is all nonsense. We are loved unconditionally. We can't be anything but Love. We are part of Source.

KEEPING OUR CONSCIOUSNESS ELEVATED

"I ain't the man I never used to be." I am late getting started. I had to run to the post office this Morning and decided to go to the feed store to combine trips. I just unloaded six sacks of feed [4-75 pounders and 2- 100s] and put them away in the chicken house. Every time I am finished with this chore, I think, "Well, I can still do it." Picking a 75 or 100 pound sack off the floor, and dumping it into the feed can, is getting to be at the edge of my ability.

I like waking up in the Morning and feel that deep sense of peace. The feeling that all is well. It is being in love with life. It didn't happen this Morning. It wasn't a bad Morning. Everything seemed a little off. Like the entity, in charge of orchestrating my life, was having a day off. For instance, I just came in the house, after unloading the feed, Jamie was standing in front of a kitchen appliance, that was humming a long; I said something and startled her to the brink of her grave.

Even when we have a rough start, we can elevate our consciousness. Have you ever noticed, that sometimes we like to wallow in less than a good mood. We like the range of our emotions, and we have to admit, that sometimes, we can enjoy the most sourest.

I am not going to do that today. After finishing that last paragraph, I sat back in my chair and connected with a deep sense of peace, that seemed to arise around me. I know that peace is always available to me. With peace, arises thankfulness. Thankfulness, brings a glow of love.

The good news is: we are the entity that orchestrates our life. We know when we are allowing a negative vibration into our lives and we can do something about it. It is relatively easy, to stop what we are doing and look around us. We can find thankfulness in almost everything our eyes fall on. The cup of coffee at our elbow. That tall glass of water waiting for us. The air wafting in the window. When we look out the window we may see the lushness of Nature. We have flowers blooming in the gardens, and this time of year, the world is bursting with new growth.

Speaking of growth, I have grass to mow and some other chores to do. I will have more to say about keeping our consciousness elevated.

Happy Friday.

BEING

Imagine we all begin like flower buds; potential flowers, of all different shapes sizes and fragrances. With appropriate care; watering, tending and feeding we bloom magnificently. We express our true being.

In this passing world, the opening of our petals was often distorted. The world told us our ideal shape, color, and scent, should be quite different, from what we felt to be true. We doubted our very being, and tried to match expectations, rather than, just BE.

In order to gather the nutrients and love from a strange world we altered our very being. The world seemed to have a template, that we had to fit into, in order to get the nourishment we needed.

When we plant a seed in the ground. We trust in that seed to have the potential to be the plant it promises to become. We care for it, feed it, water it. We don't need to tell it when to open its dicotyledon leaves. We don't tell it when it is time to develop mature leaves. We trust it know when it is time to bloom; how and what kind of fruit to have; when to seed. We trust all that knowledge is in the seed. The seed knows its being. It knows what it is to become.

We can look at Nature and see how things should be. We acknowledge a creative force that gives everything its being. Yet, we don't trust it with ourselves. We don't trust it with our children. We can't imagine our children growing up healthy without our constant interference.

Eons ago, humankind created an artificial world. This world was not based on Cosmic Law. It was not based on Nature. It was based on our group egos, controlled by ruling egos. We created a world, with a hierarchy, that in some ways mirrors Cosmic Law, but is turned upside down. In the Creator's Law, a hierarchy is based on the achievement of higher consciousness. The more elevated the being, in the hierarchy, the greater their ability to love and serve. The higher one is, the more they have to give to the rest.

In the artificial world, we have been living in, the hierarchy is based on money and power. Instead of serving, the higher ups suck the energy [wealth and power] from those beneath them.

So this artificial world, creates rules, that keeps itself going. It is a closed system. It is a system characterized by fear and mistrust. How could its denizens, trust their flower buds [children], to have their being already encoded? This world was so unable to trust, that despite an example from Nature, all around them, they insisted they knew more than Nature.

Many folks have managed to find their true being despite the programming. We have seers and mentors, that urge us, to follow our passion and disregard the expectations of society. Many who have escaped, serve as models for the rest of us. However, many of us are unhappy, periodically depressed; our petals are wrinkled and our leaves droop. We have inculcated the ideas of the artificial world and we cannot realize our being.

We, all, like the seed that is planted, came in to this world with a great gift to share with the rest. We, all, make up a beautiful whole. We are different plants, but we all bloom in the same garden. We will not realize our true being, until we can understand we have been programmed, to be something we are not, and can shed it, so we can emerge as we were meant to be.

We are all originals. We are all creators. We were not meant to be clones, in service of a society, that doesn't serve us.

We will create a society patterned after the real cosmic law. To do this, we need to see how our creativity has been stifled. We must let our roots go deep into our Mother Earth and let our being blossom for all to appreciate. The Sun [unconditional love from the center of the universe] is shining on us. We have nothing to lose. Let's trust the Earth and the Cosmos. Let us trust our own Being. Let's Bloom.

Love and Peace,  Gregg

RELATIONSHIPS

We can know something for years; yet not know it. We hear it and think, "Yah, that's right." We understand the truth of it; but then, there is knowing and knowing.

I have understood for years, the concept, that we only have relationship with ourselves. We are in a house of mirrors and all we see are endless versions of ourselves. There are many levels of understanding in this concept.

In the course of struggling, with how I felt about the events of a relationship, I realized that the only relationship I needed to concern myself with was the one with myself. The pain I was experiencing had to do with judgement of self.

Until we are fully enlightened, we will have reservations about our own competency and worthiness. On a whole, we may feel very good about ourselves, and intellectually we may conclude we are "okay." We look through a glass kaleidoscope at the world. The little bits of colored glass are how we see ourselves.

When there is a disconnection in a relationship, we attempt to assign responsibility. We don't like to admit it, and we like to hide it from ourselves; but we tend to assign blame. Some of us tend to blame ourselves. Some of us tend to blame the other. Some of us like to divide up the blame. All three choices, cause us to experience some psychic pain.

What would it be like if we had a good relationship with ourselves? What is a good relationship with ourselves? I don't think it is possible to see ourselves without flaws. In this dimension, in these bodies, we cannot achieve perfection [whatever that would be]. However, we can see our flaws and not judge ourselves. We can accept our humanness. Sure, we have things to work on; that does not have to affect how much we love ourselves.

What if we could see the disconnection as, just that? Not something to mull over. Not something to find blame over. Not something to cry over. Not something to experience loss about. What if we saw it, as just a divergence of paths, that had to happen? Perhaps it is needed for growth of one or both of us.

I am using disconnection to mean all events that disturb the equanimity of relationship, from a thunderous fight to a slight snub.

In my case, I was feeling bad about something that happened and I was carrying it out longer than seemed reasonable. I, eventually, asked myself, "Would I be feeling this way if I loved myself?" On being honest with myself, I realized I was refusing to forgive myself. I was interpreting the others pain as a direct evidence of my own unworthiness. Instead of accepting the fact that I wasn't perfect, I was attacking myself.

So I rediscovered what I knew already. Our primary relationship is with ourselves. We are going to have disconnections and some will be painful. However, if we love ourselves we will quickly forgive ourselves. We are not perfect. We can be truly sorry. Our forgiveness of the other is not complete if we do not forgive ourselves.

It is a 'no brainer' to realize, the more we love and accept ourselves, the fewer disconnections we are going to have anyway. The more we love ourselves, the fewer emotional triggers, we will have, to manifest. But they will happen and we can accept the bump in, or the divergence of, our paths without judgement.

We have heard it over and over again, we can't fully love, someone else, if we cannot love ourselves. Let us look at ourselves, accept our flaws as accents of our gloriousness. When we appreciate the beauty in ourselves; we appreciate the beauty in all others.

We are surrounded by Love. Let us surrender to it. Let us fall in love with ourselves.

Love and Peace,  Gregg
