PERFECTION?

I am getting a late start because I decided to get my dishes done first. I am fascinated watching the old world come apart; especially, the financial system. I don't think there will be the kind of crash that folks need to worry about. There are well meaning people, in the banking community, attuned to the light, that are ready to step in when the cabal loses its grip. The media has been trying to foment hysteria over the tragedy in France. It will backfire. It will bring people together rather than create divisiveness. Folks are becoming aware that these so-called terrorist attacks are orchestrated by factions of the cabal who are clinging to power. The people have had enough of it. We demand peace.

As things unfold I will be able to talk more about world conditions. For today I would like to expand on Wednesday's theme.

One of the most important things we need to let go of is our idea of who we should be. It is the rare individual who is entirely satisfied with who they are. That is a shame. Sure we have choices but generally not the ones we think we have. I was working as a therapist in a child guidance clinic many years ago, I was in my thirties, healthy I exercised and played sports. I said to a colleague, only half kidding, "I am going to try out for the Vikings [a professional football team]" He replied, "No matter how you tune up a Volkswagen it will never be a Cadillac." He wasn't insulting me. He was just making a clear observation. I didn't mean it in the first place and I enjoyed the interchange; I remembered, though.

We all carry, with us, some kind of ideal that we compare ourselves with. This is a piece of craziness we need to let go of. What ever our idea of being perfect is, it is an error. We don't know what perfect is. As long as we are in bodies, we won't know what perfect is. We are to love ourselves and love ourselves absolutely, warts and all.

We are constantly condemning ourselves for our errors. We cannot grow that way. We won't improve by judging ourselves. When we see, we made an error, we should acknowledge it to ourselves, make any necessary apologies and let it go. We don't need to bring it up to ourselves again.  Self-flagellation will never promote growth and is of no use to the world.

We are loved unconditionally by Source and, under our ego-facade, we are love. We intermesh perfectly with each other and even our errors are teachable moments. Making errors is not the most propitious way to teach others or ourselves; but, attacking ourselves for making them is idiotic. Most errors come from not loving ourselves; they generally erupt from an area where we are self-critical. The correction, therefore, cannot come from being more critical.

We are all on a path towards learning what great loving beings we are. Our separateness is an illusion, our judgements a mistake. We will make mistakes on our way back to Source. As long as we are in bodies we will do so. It is no big deal. Let all negative evaluation of self go and don't bring it back again. The world needs our love, now. We can't give what we don't have. Let us remember to love ourselves so we have more to give.

LET IT GO-BE HAPPY

The cold spell has finally broke. It didn't get below zero last night and it is 19.4 F right now the warmest it has been in at least a week. It supposed to get up to thirty tomorrow. That will feel great.

I have realized that I have been taking life too seriously lately. We know seeing through the illusion and bringing about a new reality on Earth is a serious business. Yet, paradoxically, we can't do it if we are not lighthearted. One of our great teachers advised us to be like little children. What does that mean? I see it as letting go of all the concerns that we associate with future happenings. If we look at those concerns they are all about fear. Fear is what keeps as from having the child like qualities of love, joy, playfulness, acceptance, being in the moment etc.

Life is not for fussing and worrying. What would happen if we had no concern for what life brought us and we were confident that, whatever it was, we would be able to handle it? Life has a life of its own, as it is a group creation as well as a individual creation. It comes to us everyday, whether we like it or not. Do we want to add worry, frustration, regret, apprehension or any of the other feelings and attitudes spawned by fear?

We have been trained to believe that taking things seriously is responsible. Yes, we are responsible- we are co-creators. However, our training has included, fear of the future, as if that is being responsible. Preparing for a probable future and fear of the future are to very different things. They have been mixed up in our training. Fear makes, some people, a great deal of money.

Can we let go of everything in life that keeps us from celebrating? Can we be in the moment and be joyous? Can we let go of all those little irritations, grudges, regrets, resentments, judgements etc. and be thankful we are alive?

I have found thankfulness to be very effective anytime I am in a pissy mood, for any reason. Try it. It is amazingly effective. Whenever we are gloomy or upset about something we can look to find something to be thankful for. If we really want to get out of the mood we are in, it works. Even when we are reluctant to let go of the upset, repeating what we are thankful for in our minds, will begin to pull us out of the mood.

A thankful  mind wards off negativity and invites a positive outlook.

Fear does not exist in the world we are anticipating and fear will keep us from ever realizing it. Fear cannot co-exist with love. Fear is challenged by smiles and simply dissolved by laughter.

Let us fill life with love and laughter. Everyday can be a celebration. A celebration of loving exploration. We are just beginning to know how great life can be.

OLD PROGRAMS

It is a beautiful day on Laughing Water Farm; brilliant Sunshine! It is cold. It is still below zero at 10:20AM. We have had a spate of below zero nights. Tonight is forecast for -11F and that should be the last for awhile. It suppose to reach thirty by Thursday.

Old programs, both in the larger social context and in individuals die hard. Even though the light is shining more intensely on the Earth, many of us have recurring negative programs to deal with. In a sense it is because of the increasing light that old personal programs are coming to the surface. These old programs are behavior patterns that have developed around old hurts, abuse, abandonment, humiliation etc. We may have thought we dealt with them but they were buried deep along with the concomitant anger, shame and guilt.

We know it is time to come clean and rid ourselves of these old programs. The fortunate among us benefit from the insight the first or second time they emerge. Their awareness increases to the point where they are no longer burdened by them. For many of us, however, these old programs don't die easily they need to fade away.

I think it is the Course in Miracles that states that we are never upset for the reasons we think. When we find ourselves getting into squabbles with those close to us, again and again, for what an outsider would deem petty; that is a clue that an old program has been triggered. These reactions can go on for a lifetime if no intervention happens to encourage awareness.

The list of things that can trigger one of these old programs is endless. They can be simple things like leaving dirty socks on the floor or putting something away in the wrong place or a minor miscommunication. What they have in common, is that the emotional response, whether it be anger or withdrawal is out of proportion to the incident. Until we become aware, we will focus on discrepancies, in the others behavior, to justify our behavior. We can be very righteous and sure of our ground until we realize that is not what is upsetting us at all. We are feeling abandoned or abused, mistreated in some way, and we are reenacting an old program.

Awareness and a firm intent are the key to helping these old programs fade away. Sometimes we can recall the initial pain that caused the old program. Then it is remembering, reliving and bursting the bubble. We see, we forgive and it is over. But that is not the usual case. For most of us these old programs were laid down by a succession of events, sometimes beyond recall. The key is remembering that we are not upset for the reason we think. If we can be aware every time one of these programs are triggered, we can learn to back ourselves out of the situation.

The person we are having the upset with, will often have a program that will be triggered by our reaction, both people are stuck acting out their old programs. We must be aware of our own program and also not fall into reacting to the others' program. Many of us stay stuck a long time because we see the other persons program but not our own. We must learn to disregard the other persons reaction, especially because we triggered it anyway.

We have a built in quest for truth. One truth is our true nature of Oneness. With the increase of love and light on the Earth we are seeking oneness. These old programs that have kept us apart, both at the societal level and the personal level, are being challenged and are eroding away.

Know that if we have the intent to dissolve these old programs we will. Awareness, as always, is a key. With awareness comes love. We will succeed.

Happy Monday.

THE ILLUSION

It has been a most beautiful Morning. The Sun is shining brightly. It is cold. It is still only -1.7F and it is already 10:20AM. The Sun is so wonderful, it goes a long ways towards making the cold livable.

This blog is a refresher. I would like to revisit the concept of the illusion. Remember when reading this, that I am a seeker like you. I don't know any more. We all have within us truth. If what I have to say feels right to you, fine. If it doesn't, maybe you are not ready to contemplate it or perhaps I am wrong.

We are on this Earth in bodies with five recognized senses and perhaps some yet to be discovered. With our senses we interpret energy and give it form. We interpret vibrations as color, smell, size, roughness, smoothness, taste etc. We do not know how each individual sees a color or tastes but we have reached a consensus on these experiences so we can communicate.

This process is perception. We have individual perception and consensual perception. They can be quite different. The consensual perception can conclude that ice cream is quite good, yet there are individuals who don't care for it.

Our perception is driven by belief. We often experience what we are convinced we will experience. We, who have had children are aware of how difficult it is to get some kids to eat something when they are convinced it will taste bad.

Everything is energy. Our bodies-all matter. We form the energy into the familiar things we experience with our perception. What really exist is a matter of speculations for those with a philosophical bent. What kind of form exist outside perception? Do we actually change it with our perception? Is the energy already formed and we just interpret it with our senses? There were ancient Greek philosophers who thought that no form existed outside of our perception; that all was energy. That puzzle is not germane to this discussion and perhaps some day we will be able to 'see'.

What is germane is that we create our reality with our thoughts and feelings and they are driven by our belief system.

If we were left alone, to find our own way on this planet, we would quickly have discovered the most pleasant way to perceive reality. What seemed good would be good. What made us happy would be reinforced. What gave us peace would be reinforced. What gave us joy would be reinforced. We would have discovered that love was where it was at.

So we can say, that as long as we are in bodies, it is all an illusion. Illusion is not good or bad. It is what we experience. We can't help being in an illusion. But this is where it gets a little hard to explain, there is an illusion covering the illusion. If we were left alone on this planet we would have evolved to a place where we would have created an illusion based on the most loving perception. That would be Natural. That illusion is our basic reality.

Eons ago, we were manipulated to form an illusion which would aid and abet those who wanted power over the people of this planet. They did this by interjecting fear and confusion in our minds. They obscured what we would naturally 'see' and introduced fear at the individual, tribal, national and racial level. These people are referred to as the cabal. They are a hereditary group of immense power and wealth. They are master manipulators and their power is waning but they still have great influence.

It is our job to see through the illusion, they have created, to see what is natural i.e. what is created with love; which is our reality.

The cabal has had immense power they were able to get us to create an illusion to their liking. They have no ability to create on their own. We have created everything that we experience. To reiterate, they cannot do anything on their own; they can only influence us to do it for them. They have used fear in many, many different forms to get us to maintain the illusion they want.

Without our cooperation they are finished. We can refuse to cooperate, by realizing everything we think we believe, is probably not true or tainted in some way. The test for this is to ask ourselves, "Is this love". The safest way to proceed is to know that the only truth is love. Love dissolves the illusion. Refuse to be separated from your fellows. All are equal. All are great beings of light.

Let us not except anything as true unless it is love. Does accepting it as true enrich us with love, peace and joy? If not put it aside for now. There is no need to belief anything. Love is. In the absence of belief love will find its way. Love surrounds us. Love is everything.

Reject all tinges of fear. Fear is in the past and future. Now, this moment, is love. When we are now, we are thinning the illusion. Paradise is reaching out to us.

THE CARROT ON THE END OF THE STICK

I am late starting my blog. I had a busy Morning. I had an appointment with a podiatrist. A few weeks ago, I had a big toe swell up and look like an angry beet. I had to have a callous removed and a course of antibiotics. This was a follow-up appointment. Everything is fine now.

I feel very optimistic about the world despite the horrible news. Was the attack on the French satirical paper a false flag or was it really perpetrated by a Muslim group? One hates to be that cynical, but the cabal has much greater interest in keeping us afraid and divided than any perceived motives of a Muslim group. We will know soon as activities of this kind cannot be hidden for long.

The old world is coming down piece by piece and a new world is shining through the illusory haze. The old world made by fear is about over. We have the last desperate gasps of those who are reluctantly relinquishing power.

I know, we are tired of waiting. We have been through a great deal and the promise of the new world, created by love, seems like the carrot on the end of the stick. This is not the time for despair. We are very close to seeing some major changes. I know I am not a prophet. I predicted the economy wouldn't last through December without a major crash. Here it is January 7th and it is still limping along. It hasn't gone over the cliff put it it is leaning over heavily. The government, the banks, or whoever is in control has been supporting the stock market and neglecting all else that could help. The stock market goes up while the economy of the people stagnates or slips backwards. The economy is suppose to drive the stock market- the stock market cannot pull the economy out of its doldrums. Firing up the stock market to move the economy is like harnessing a mule to a huge building and expecting to pull it off its foundation. No matter how much one whips the mule the building won't budge.

All the money used to fire up the stock market is borrowed money. Eventually the piper needs to be payed. It appears to be one huge gambling casino. It is not sustainable.

Instead of looking at the carrot on the end of the stick, we need to look for the love in our own lives. The future and everything it brings will be here soon enough. Let us enrich and enhance our relationships, now. Let us look around us. Is there somebody that needs encouragement? Is there somebody who needs to know they are loved? Is there somebody, who might be irritating, but needs to have someone see through their disguise and reach out to them? Let us take the risk of reaching out to all the folks around us, the crabby ones, dull ones, the bright ones, the proud ones, the frightened ones, all of them. Everybody needs to be loved and they need it now.

The love is there. Let it pour through. The more we love, the more the love comes back to us. We need to be sure we start with ourselves. We can't give what we don't have. The good news is that we have it. We are filled up to the brim with love. We just need to let ourselves know it. We do have to know it. All that we have to do is sit quietly for a moment and ask the universe to wrap its arms around us. We will feel the love.

AN EARLY MORN

It is only 9:30AM and I have been up over four and a half hours. When I went to bed last night it was -10F. I was lying in bed and I thought, " We should have a fire in our wood stove". We have a geothermal heat system. It works great down to about ten to fifteen below zero. If it gets much below that it won't turn off and allow the coils to pick up heat from the ground. The system works by having coils filled with liquid buried fifteen feet in the ground. They absorb heat from the ground and the liquid is pumped through a heat exchanger. The heat is concentrated and blown through traditional hot air heating vents and the liquid is returned to the ground to pick up more heat. The thermostat must turn the pump off for enough time for the coils to absorb heat. We have friends that think 68 degrees is cozy and if we were like that the system would probably work well without an assist from the wood stove. However, we think cozy starts at 73 degrees. Just to avoid problems we generally fire up the stove if it is going to be more than ten degrees below zero.

In any case, I was lying in bed last night and I knew the forecast was for around fifteen below. I wasn't too concerned about it and I fell asleep just fine; but, I awoke about 4:AM and wondered about it. The house was warm and there was warm air coming from the registers, so I knew the furnace was working okay. I didn't seem to be anxious but I was wide awake. Eventually I got up and came down stairs, it was about 5AM. I made a fire, washed the dishes, meditated for awhile looking at the fire [there are glass doors on the stove]. I love getting up early and I was not aware of being tired, with only four hours sleep. I am beginning to be aware of it.

Well, I am not a fountain of wisdom this Morning. I don't think I can force myself to come up with much to write about. Everything is going well for us. The animals don't seem to mind the cold. The chicken water had a good crust of ice on it, but their coop is not very cold; it feels warm compared to the outside.

One more thought about the heating system: one may ask, "Why don't you just turn the thermostat down to the low sixties at night, then there would be no problem?" Yes, we could do that. However, unlike a system that uses combustion, the air coming from the registers is warm, never hot. It would take hours to raise the temperature from the low sixties to 73 degrees. I will turn it down to 68 or 70 at night in cold weather.

Except for my time in the Air Force [four years], I have experienced every Winter in Minnesota. I have only had one Winter vacation and that was to Idaho and it was Winter there too.  So I am inured to Winter. When I was younger I couldn't understand people who fled Minnesota Winters for Southern climes. About ten years ago I began to appreciate their decisions.

If it wasn't for the Holidays, Winter would be more grim. November is sometimes Winter and sometimes Autumn, but we have Thanksgiving to brighten up our days. The Christmas Season keeps up our spirits in December. Hopefully, that glow last the first week or so of January, then my birthday is January 24th. So, I think the only unbroken month of Winter is February. March can be extremely Wintery, but we are looking forward to Spring so that doesn't count.

As I have stated before, all we can do about life is to love every bit of it. There is always something to celebrate.

AND WE ARE STILL HERE

I just got back from the chicken coop. I let my chickens out and broke the ice on their water. It has been cold enough to put a skim of ice on the chicken water so I don't like to wait too long to visit them in the Morning. Normally, the water won't freeze until it gets below zero F; but once it has frozen and some ice builds up on the side of the vessel, the ice will skim the top when it gets down to the single digits. The water froze when it got below zero Tuesday night; it was just lightly skimmed with ice then, but it has frozen deeper every Morning since, even though the temperature was higher. I will give them fresh water tomorrow Morning. I use a rubber tub that holds about six gallons. It was 6 degrees F when I went to bed, it is 16 now, almost balmy.

I hope everyone is looking upon the New Year with optimism. We have witnessed a lot of darkness in the last few years. Those who have been tuned into looking for the light saw much to be hopeful about in 2014, but it took some effort to ignore the darkness that was reported all around us.

We are still here and we are holding our light high. We know we are over the hump and the dark is receding. It is time for us, who have been thinking in terms of a battle between light and dark, to change the way of seeing it. Despite what is reported in the media, the battle is over, the dark has all but relinquished its hold.

There is no battle to be fought. It is time to accept the love that surrounds us and the loving beings we are. Each one of us can shed our armor and lay down our weapons. Accept love. Accept Oneness. We don't need to defend ourselves against the dark and especially each other. We have been trained to see darkness in each other and defend against it. That has been a major error promoted by those who would control. The struggle is over. Again, I say, let us lay down our weapons [defensiveness].

Judgement, based on fear of our personal safety, has been the major device of the controllers. Our egos, which are very enamored of fear, cooperated in the madness. Know it is over. It is now our job to move out of those low vibrations. We start with our own being. We realize the battle is over. We no longer need to fight. We need to give up those judgements, thoughts, and feelings that kept us in the fight.

We need to start with ourselves. We need to remind ourselves, several times a day, that we are loving beings. We need to have no thoughts or feelings that are not a response to love. Anything that is not love belongs to the illusion of separateness, it does not belong to the reality of Oneness.

Our biggest struggle seems to be giving up judgement. We have been automatically programmed to judge and reinforce separateness. We make judgements and have an emotional reaction without even being aware that it is happening. Most of these judgements are just little minor things and we don't realize we are building up a barrier, even if its slight, from knowing another person. As we commit ourselves to the light, we become more aware of these judgements and can relinquish them.

Remember that old adage, the basic idea is that we find fault in others, according to the fear, we may have that attribute in ourselves. It is said many ways and has been repeated in every spiritual tradition. It is a wonderful teaching device and it is much resisted. How can it be that the behavior of so and so down the street, that we find so obnoxious, is a reflection of something in us? How can it be that, that annoying trait of a family member, has anything to do with us? We certainly aren't that annoying. Can it simply be true, that we judge others for what we judge in ourselves?

I have have been seeing lately how I out-picture my self judgements on others. It is scary, it is humbling but it is also wonderful. It shows what I need to shine light on, in myself. It demonstrates, what I may have to forgive in myself, and open myself to the Love from Source, of which, I have been depriving myself. Try it you will like it.

We are one.

Love and Peace,  Gregg
