It feels like Autumn here on Laughing Water Farm. There were frost warnings last night. According to my thermometer, whose sensor is seven feet high in the North side of the house, it got down to 37F. Frost was likely in the low spots. I haven't looked at the tomatoes yet.
Everyday now, there will be more information coming out, about how we have been fooled and manipulated. Some of the information will be shocking and that serves to wake people up. The key will be the emergence of the truth about 9-11. So far, the cabal has been able to attach the label of conspiracy theorist to anyone that disagrees with their version of events. Soon it will be obvious to all, who did it and why. This will be the final shock that will bring down the house of cards.
In the meantime the best thing we can do, is be happy. To be happy is to love ourselves. To love ourselves we must give up self judgement. Our biggest task right now is to give up judging ourselves.
Yes, assessing our progress is useful. Assessment is not judgement. We can evaluate how we are on the path towards unconditional love. We can see where we have been and where we are going. That is not judgement. We get assessment and judgement confused. Judgement always involves better or worse, higher and lower, good and bad etc. It always involves putting yourself down some way. The ego loves this! The ego can control you with judgement. The ego is always assessing, but its assessments are always judgement. We could try to find another word for assessment, that doesn't involve judgement. But it would work for only a little while. The ego would find a way in.
So what do we do? We can use the word[s] we are comfortable with; Source, God, Allah, Shiva, Creative Force, All That Is, it doesn't matter which we choose. We know it is Unconditional Love. And if God loves us unconditionally, who are we to quibble? Next time we hear our ego criticizing ourselves, we can say, God {or your word} loves me unconditionally. Who are you ego? You have no power to evaluate me. Remind the ego, you will not let it accompany you unless it is willing to see only with unconditional love.
The ego is our creation. We made it from fear, when we thought we needed it. It has been useful. It lost its usefulness when instead of just being a protective mechanism, we identified with it. Then, instead of protecting us against sabre toothed tigers, it[we] began to see the whole world as threatening. It is only the reality that the ego creates that is threatening. As long as we see the world through the ego, it will be scary. The ego can only see fear.
It is time we got off the ego merry go round and stayed off. The world is Love. Nothing but Love. Remind yourself hourly that your Source is love. Know yourself to be loved unconditionally and we have no business contradicting Our Source.
The world we are about to step into has no judgement; only love, joy and great appreciation of life.

A NEW DAY
It is one of the most beautiful Mornings I have ever experienced. The sky is deep blue. The air is crystal clear. Everything is sharply in focus. All is quiet, yet one can feel life all around.
Each day is a new day! Each day we can reinvent ourselves. Each day we can choose to be as clear in our minds as the Morning air. We can leave all yesterdays behind and know the future is the love we see all around us.
We know we are worthy. We know we love and are lovable. Ahhhhh......... breathe in the air of Paradise.
We have been carrying the burden of unworthiness for thousands of years. From the beginning, the Adam and Eve story, is a story of unworthiness. Our religion, our institutions are based on unworthiness. Throw it away! We were never and never will be unworthy. We are beautiful beings of Love. Let us not pick up this burden as the day progresses. When our ego wants to remind us of the past, calmly tell it to quiet down. Tell it, "I am love. I created you when I needed you. Now you can only be my companion if you accept my loving direction. From now on we will see nothing but love. For there is nothing but love."
As we express our love for each other we affirm the love in ourselves. When we smile at another we smile at ourselves. We have been struggling to know we are worthy. We don't need to struggle anymore. We can enrich our worthiness by seeing it in each other. When we send love to our neighbor, the reflection reinforces our own sense of worthiness.
Today's blog is short. We must wend our way to Maple Grove hospital. Jamie has her final postoperative checkup. She is doing very well. It will be a pleasant journey.
I have a few chores to do before we leave. Have a beautiful day! It is a marvelous Friday.

PERCEPTION
I am late getting started on my blog because I got my first professional haircut in many years. Since 1958 I have had two maybe three haircuts by a professional. Jamie has cut my hair for the last 40+ years. She has been urging me to go to a real barber and has used the excuse of her recent surgery. She feels she can't stand up that long and I look like a homeless man and shouldn't wait until she can. I don't object to looking like a homeless person but I gave in when she said, "You'll be doing a favor to those who have to look at you." We have a local barber right in our community and she did a wonderful job.
I have mentioned my chickens a few times. Besides my old hens, we are raising 25 broilers and 25 pullets. The people we get our chickens from throw in an extra chicken for each 25 ordered. It is always fun to observe what breed the extra chickens will be. In this order we got a Cuckoo Maran, a French breed, they look like Barred Plymouth Rocks except that they have silvery grey legs rather than yellow legs.
Yesterday, my neighbor from across the lake was visiting, we were sitting on the porch looking over the world. We heard a young rooster crow. I assumed it was one of our broilers. Their growth is accelerated and they generally crow before a standard breed will. I looked, and all I could see standing there, was the Cuckoo Maran. I figured the broiler must have ducked out. As I was looking, the Cuckoo Maran got into position and gave out with a lusty crow. I couldn't believe my eyes. She is a he? I thought it was a hen. A rooster? I assumed the extra chicken was a hen- so I saw hen. I saw what I programmed myself to see. It is true, chickens that are only twelve weeks old do not necessarily show much gender difference. It is obvious in some breeds and subtle in others. But experienced chicken raisers can see the difference, I just didn't really look. My perception matched my assumption, until the truth hit me between the eyes.
That is one of the dilemmas we are overcoming. For years our perception has been colored by our programming. It isn't just the Main Stream Media doing the programming. It is our entire culture; religion, politics, corporations, governments etc. They would all like us to see, what they want us to see. It is a shell we are breaking out of. A good example is our attitude toward homosexuality. We have smashed our way out of that shell. We see it entirely differently than we did just a few years ago. In terms of population, it took only a few change agents to get us to open our hearts and minds. Of course, we have further to go.
That change was made on the basis of Love. All are equal. All deserve love. So many of our prejudices are hidden from us, because they are based on perception. We absorbed how we see from our families and wider culture. How we see is not truth. It is the way we have been programmed to see. The truth may not be available to us in this illusion, but Love is. We can choose to see everything with love. If we see only with love, we will come as close to truth as we can.
Let us live our lives by making all our decisions with love. When we react negatively to something we perceive, lets ask our higher selves, if we can see differently. How does it look through eyes of unconditional love?
I got to do dishes and then go get milk from the Amish.

A RAINY MONDAY
We have been having a drought. The plants with deep roots, the trees and most bushes look fine; but farmer's fields are suffering, especially corn. Yesterday and this Morning it rained. We have received an inch so far. We are very grateful.
How do we deal with the disinformation coming from the main stream media. Until recently, I have pretty much ignored it all and treated it as BS. Now it appears that some truth may be leaking out, but it takes a great deal of discernment. It is probably best to continue ignoring it until we have a genuine sea change.
This Syria thing, for example, is especially confusing. I can find no evidence that the U.S. government knows the Syrian government is responsible for the gas attacks. Any investigation of what the U.S. knows, leads to secret information. How is that possible? If they are asking the people to go to war, they better tell us why. What could be secret? If Assad is responsible, then show us how. It would be cruel, ridiculous and pointless to bomb Syria anyway. The people would suffer not Assad. There is fairly conclusive evidence that a rebel group was responsible. We don't see mention of that in the MSM.
To complicate matters, the rumor is that the administration has no intention of bombing Syria. That it is all posturing. There have been attempts by factions in this country, backed by some Israeli factions, to paint Obama as a weak president. The purpose is to undercut him, to hamper him in his dealings on some upcoming emergency situations. The failure of the big banks for one. There are many important issues pending. I will discuss them in the future. A weak president woulds be easier to control. These factions didn't expect Obama to take a hard line on Syria; he thus took away their momentum.
By appearing determined and resolute Obama took away their issue, but then, he said he would seek congressional approval. He actually challenged congress to defy him. The house Republicans are itching for a chance to defy him and the sensible Democrats wouldn't go along with it. It looks to me that the motion will be defeated. If Obama really wanted it to pass, is this the way he would have handled it? I don't know. I am only speculating. We will all know soon.
Out of this whole fiasco comes the obvious fact, that we the people and I mean the people of the entire world, do not want any of it. We see the futility of trying to solve problems with violence of any kind, whether it be arms or rhetoric. It is just as easy to seek understanding as it is to react with violence. It is only a small faction that want war. Unfortunately, they still control the media. In terms, of percentage of the population, this group is teeny. They still hold sway over those who accept everything the MSM says. That group is getting smaller as people wake up and see what has been going on.
The war game is over. We won't support it. We know that when this faction quits fomenting divisiveness of all kinds, the people of the world will come together in love and cooperation. We do love each other. We know we love each other. We know it is the only way to be.
Celebrate Love. Celebrate Peace.

INNOCENCE
Jamie is on a sure, slow healing course, everyday there is progress. The recliner we bought works out very well. She sleeps in it at night as well as lounging in the day. It will be a awhile before she can get out of a bed comfortably. She is really healthy and all is fine, but the surgery was extensive so the repair that was made will take time to heal. She gets up on her feet and can do quite a few things before needing to sit down again. She accompanies me to town and goes into the stores, so she is on the mend.
We bought 50 chickens in June. 25 for the freezer [broilers] and 25 replacement hens [egg layers]. The broilers are already big enough to butcher and they are getting to be a little bit of a nuisance. They are up on the deck and the gazebo and into the flower gardens. Our gardens are designed to be immune from most chicken ravages, but not completely. The chickens are getting to the age where they can scratch rather vigorously. In a week or so, Jamie will be able to help with the process and we will get the broilers in the freezer. I send them to chicken heaven and pluck them and clean them and Jamie does the fine plucking and prepares then for the freezer.
I have been paying attention to myself moment to moment. Keeping tuned in to how I am experiencing the world and myself in it. Many years ago, I accepted the idea that everyone is innocent. Nobody gets up in the Morning and says I am going to be a bad ass today. People who are chronic jerks are caught up in a drama that causes them to see the world that way. They have given up the idea that anybody could love them and they see the world as a collection of users. If they substitute money and power for the love they can't experience, they become dangerous to the rest of us. But they are still innocent, as they are trapped into their view of reality.
How about us everyday folks. If we wake up with a little irritation, we can torture the folks at home, just like those, we think of as monsters, do it on the world stage. Less consequences, a smaller stage, perhaps, but the same dynamic. It appears to the people around us that we are critical of them; but no, we are critical of ourselves{sure we are judging them and everything else-but we are attacking ourselves first}. We are unhappy with ourselves and we out picture it to the world. It is very simple. We have temporarily lost our sense of innocence. Knowing our innocence is knowing our lovableness. When we forget our lovableness; how can we believe anybody loves us? That is depressing and irritating.
When we wake up in the Morning [or any other time] and feel that irritation it is because we are not loving ourselves. If we look. Really look. Sit down look before we open our mouth and make an ass of ourselves. Just how are we judging ourselves? We can ask our unconscious mind, our guides, the Source, or whatever we are comfortable with. Help is available. We will see the the idiocy of our judgement and regain our innocence.
We have been carefully trained to judge ourselves. All of our social systems, in some degree, encouraged self judgement as a control measure. We were not taught we are innocent.
Now is the time to reclaim our innocence. We are part of Source. We are perfect beings of light. All judgement is ridiculous. In fact it is impossible. Judgement is an artifact of the dark. It is part of the world we are leaving behind.
Leave the past behind. We all acted like jerks before. It doesn't matter. We wouldn't do it again given a conscious choice. The more we are able to forgive ourselves, the more we are able to forgive others. We can only love others to the degree we love ourselves.
Let us reclaim our innocence. See the innocence in each other. See a forgiven world!
Happy Friday.

NOW
Jamie is back in the family fold. We ran up to the furniture store first thing this Morning. We bought a recliner for Jamie. She has difficulty getting comfortable in most chairs and the couch. She has difficulty getting out of either. The recliner will allow her to sleep in it if need be. A recliner is something we never thought we would have. My guess is we won't need it in a couple weeks but then, I bet, we will keep it.
Life is not yet back to normal. But what is normal? Or we could ask, "How do you find peace in a chaotic world?" We see the world is insane. The radio and television makes us feel crazy; unless we are very selective. And can you be that selective?
We all have deep peace inside of us. If we close our eyes and relax; we can sink down in to a very quiet place. Try it. Let yourself sink down, without thought, seek the quiet. Let all the tension drain from your body. Those of us who have not done this before may need a little practice. It will come easily. Peace is our natural state. The thoughts, {noise} that continually run through our minds, are fear based. They allude to concerns, based on little fears or big fears, they have absolutely no value.
Our natural state is peace and our natural attention is now. The peace we find, when we look for it inside us, is always there. We never have to leave it. Being in the present, what is called the now, is peaceful. All right action occurs when we are in the now. The noise in the mind keeps us from seeing the right action.
When we first try living in the now, we will experience all sorts of head trips. Our egos, which attract fear, will constantly lure us into this or that thought channel. We just need to catch ourselves and focus on what is before us. We all have heard, that there are no accidents. That there are no coincidences. That everything that happens is purposeful. We have heard this forever. It is part of the ancient teachings as it is part of most current spiritual teachings. Rather than struggle with the truth of these propositions, we may try living as if it is true.
Accept the idea, that everything that happens is a teaching event. Every person we meet has something to teach us. Everything has been arranged perfectly for our learning. If we fully attend to the moments in our life and love and love and love; wow, what a loving world we will see.
Another way of seeing it, is all of life and every moment is sacred, we honor it.
The folks are bringing us our new chair.

HAPPY LABOR DAY
I am sitting here, waiting to hear from Jamie, that she is ready to come home from the hospital. We are 90% sure she will be released today but................there is always a but. Everything needs to be working. She was feeling great yesterday.
The weather has turned cooler. It is only 58F this morning at 8:37AM. Quite a change from last week.
I had something happen Saturday that I would like to relate. I have been opening the gate and letting my broiler and replacement pullets run free, every Morning, for a couple months. On Saturday Morning I opened the gate and the thought {or more a picture} came to me, that the wind could blow the gate shut. Now this gate has never blown shut. I dismissed the notion.
Saturday night we had a mini-thunderstorm. It wasn't much, in terms of rain, wind or lightning. The chickens settle down in their coop at dusk and I go out and close the door, to protect them from night dwelling predators. It was raining. I went out and found the gate had slammed shut leaving six or seven young chickens on the outside. I opened the gate and tried to herd them in but it was already too late. Chickens are blind in very dim light. One ran, the others just froze. Using the flashlight just confused them. I was able to get the drenched chickens in and the chicken that ran, took one fast circuit around the coop and then in the gate; apparently, she could see a little better. I then had to search the bushes to make sure there were no chickens hiding somewhere.
I was lucky, the gate didn't slam shut, until the majority, of the chickens were in. It could have trapped thirty or forty of them out. If that happened, I don't know how I would have gotten them in.
My point of the story is: what is the nudging, about the gate, that Morning? Do our minds see the future? If this was the only time this happened, I would think nothing of it. I would chalk it up to coincidence. But this has happened several times in my life and I am always happy when I pay attention. This time I didn't, fortunately it wasn't a huge problem.
I have been practicing, living in the present. I may sit down, pick up something to read, and I get a prodding to go to the feed store or do some other task. If I pay attention to the urge, it turns out beneficial. There will be some reason why I needed to do that task at that time. Perhaps a visitor came over, at the time, I originally thought, I would do the task. I have a routine and generally you could set a clock by me. I just fall in to it, what the clock says doesn't necessarily have value to me. When you deal with animals they seem to expect you out there to feed and water them at an appointed time. If your late they let you know it. If your early they may ignore you. It is easy to fall into a routine.
We seem to have urgings to vary our routines when important. Where do they come from? Does part of us anticipate the future and feedback to our conscious minds? Or do we have spiritual guides that help us with our everyday activities? Or is it our higher self?
We are familiar with these events. Back in the days when I drove less reliable cars, I might touch the door handle and it would occur to me to check the oil, on finding it low, I might think, I was lucky. Or was I listening to guidance? In any case, there is more to living on this Earth than our limited perception tells us.
It looks like those, that are advocating war, will lose. Our consciousness has risen to the point where we can no longer be fooled and tricked into killing each other. Those who profit from war, are losing control. They will try, anything, to stay in power. But, our eyes are opening; we see the preposterous, arrogance of this nation, which has seeded depleted uranium, on battlefields, the world over, and killed thousands [maybe millions] of innocent people the last few decades, have the effrontery to judge the Syrian government for using poison gas. They probably didn't do it in the first place. And it they did; what logic does it make that bombing them would help. We are not so good at targeting, that we wouldn't kill many, many innocent people. Who are they kidding?! The people of the world, which includes the American people are done with this kind of tom foolery.
But............... as has been noted before. It is best we don't get caught up in this drama. We are to Love. We are to envision a world of peace. We have the power to bring it about. We will do it.
Jamie called and she will probably be discharged this evening. It is still only probable.
Many chores await me.
Love and Peace, Gregg
