We have Spring one day and the next day it snows; but it is time to plant. Jamie has been busy in the garden. I tilled up an area and she has formed the soil into beds for planting the potatoes. She planted tomato seeds in doors; we will put the flats in the greenhouse when the nighttime temperatures are a little more stable. It was down to 20 degrees F a few nights ago. It may have stayed above freezing in the greenhouse, but to be on the safe side, we will keep the tomatoes inside for awhile.
I planted a Siberian Stone Pine yesterday. It replaces one that got lost to the lawn mower last year. It is only six inches high. I expect to live to see it grow up. Let see; I am only 77 so when it is fifty feet high I will be ummmmmm............. that is a big number isn't it.
It would be nice if I could practice what I preach! I was crabby yesterday and this morning. There was nothing wrong with my world. Everything was fine. I was paying attention to what was passing through my alleged mind. Why do we do that? Why is it sometimes difficult to stay in the present? When I do that [bring myself to the present] I see everything is okay. I experience love. The thoughts that I was preoccupied with, had some reality; but it wasn't a present reality and I couldn't do anything about them anyway. I see, after the fact, that I could have raised my vibration fairly easily. I come to the incontrovertible fact that I was hanging on to my crabbiness as if it had value. What a trick our egos play. Well, I let my crabbiness go and bless it. I will be able to look at those issues, that were bugging me, differently.
It rained all last night and now it is quite pleasant. It is 60 degrees and the Earth is giving off that wonderful earthy smell that one associates with a wet Spring day. I have some rose bushes to plant and I need to help Jamie with some garden chores.

THE CHANGING EARTH
I came across a video describing the geologic events that occurred April 11. {Depending on your time zone- some of the events were still happening yesterday} It is quite phenomenal and I will include a link to it at the end of this message. It appears that things are cranking up, as predicted. Watch the video and come to your own conclusions.
It is a little tricky, warning people of potential catastrophes, and at the same time, telling them they must stay calm and know that everything will be alright. Yet that is what I am doing. We are in for some great changes, in every sphere of our experience, here on planet earth. We should be prepared for some temporary interruption in the usual flow of our lives. It wouldn't hurt to have a few days supply of food and water in your basement. Yet, I feel there is a great love welling up among our people and I feel confident that we will take every opportunity to help each other, and any net result will be very positive.
The old structure must come down. Our political system, our economic system, our social systems etc. must all collapse and be rebuilt with unconditional love. This is not likely to happen without some help from geologic and weather changes. The power structure, that has represented domination, must be completely dislodged.
In the meantime, we wait. Fill the waiting time with love. Work on yourselves. Eliminate those little negative tendencies that are expressions of fear; irritation, impatience, jealousy, judgement, pessimism, garden variety jerkiness, etc etc. Perhaps, I shouldn't say "work on yourself". You don't want to focus on yourself, and any self improvement needs to be lighthearted and fun. We, always, do much better focusing on helping others; but when those little irritations come up recognize them and let them go.

The Real Spring
A normal spring came back a few days ago and gone are the balmy temperatures. It got down to 20 degrees F last night. It is 43 now.
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Holiday. Mine was a little different. We planned to get together with relatives; we didn't make it. I had a stomach ache during the night and in the morning I was on the toilet, with a bucket under my chin. A familiar pose to many of you, I am sure. It seemed like food poisoning, but it was probably a virus. I didn't eat anything we all didn't. I was sickish during the day, but recovered by bedtime.
Of course, I have to look at why I chose to be sick. I believe, at some level [and it may be well hidden], we orchestrate everything we experience. I don't have any problem with this hypothesis and I generally see connections. However, while your sick, it is not a good time to speculate on the reason why; then is the time to surrender to 'the now' and the healing that is there. When you have processed things correctly, you realize everything is a blessing.
A week ago, I began a discussion about perception and I intend to expand on it. In the coming days I will come back to it, frequently. On one hand it is simple; we see what we expect to see, according to our past experiences, and the thoughts we hold in our mind. When we look at it closer we find many differences, from person to person. Many people have, what I think of, as little emotional/mental cysts that were created by some unresolved hurt they experienced. These act as negative thought/feeling generators. When they are triggered by some outside event the person is flooded with negative feelings that color everything they see and think. Thus, people can experience the exact same event and have entirely different interpretations about what they experienced. This difference in perception can be subtle or extreme. It is safe to say, that no two people see anything alike. It, also, raises the question, is there a reality? A reality independent of perception; we will find out.
So how can we perceive what is? What is there to see, if we could see without our colored perception? The first thing we need to do, is look at ourselves honestly. What kind of ideas are we hanging on to, without any basis in truth? What ideologies are we adhering to. Most importantly what painful memories do we still have; have we buried them so they have made little cysts?
There is a reason forgiveness is stressed in spiritual literature. Your mind can not be free of the past, without forgiveness. Everyone of those little painful cyst has a person our persons connected to it. FOR YOUR SAKE, you need to forgive them. The cyst will dissolve, in that area, your perception will change. As we learn to clear our perception of past influences, we will discover that forgiveness is our greatest tool. We will learn to practice it constantly.
Eventually we will learn to see what is there, without changing it in our mind. I believe we will see a world of love.
Events will, soon, come fast and furious to challenge everything we now believe. The more we can perceive love and empty our minds the better we will be. Instead of feeling stressful, focus on how you can be of service to those around you. Resist all fear thoughts; replace them with love as fast as you can.

GOOD FRIDAY
Our family always got together, this evening, to make the Easter Eggs, the Bunny would bring Easter Morning. We would make them the old fashioned way. We would wrap eggs in a piece of cloth, with onion skins and colored pieces of cloth pressed to the egg. The eggs were tied up in the cloth with string. The eggs would then be boiled for several minutes. We would save cloth that we knew would give up its color to the eggs and favorite bits of cloth might last several years [one piece can be used only once]. The real magic occurred when the eggs were unwrapped and we oohed and aahed at the magnificent patterns that were transferred to the egg shell. Onion skins created a beautiful veiny pattern. As a child I knew our eggs were brought by the Easter Bunny and no other kids, on our block, received eggs like we had.
I suppose Good Friday is a sombre day for some folks. Although, I was brought up in a Catholic family, more or less devout; it was not a sombre day for us. Lent was almost over and that was reason to celebrate. Years later, it occurred to me that Jesus would not want his death to be viewed as a sacrifice. A loving God would not ordain such nonsense. The idea must have been introduced by religion, to control people through guilt. What a horrible thing! Fortunately, my family must have resisted the worst of the guilt inducement. They certainly didn't escape all of it.
In so many situations, truth is the opposite of what religion teaches. In truth our reality lies in our complete innocence; religion stresses guilt. Truth is, we are already perfect, having been created in unconditional love. We need to do nothing to realize this. Religion teaches the abomination of original sin; which tells us we are evil until we are saved, somehow. How can one discover unconditional love under such condemnation? Truth is, only love exist; all else is mis-creation.
As we are all aspects of the creator; we create individually and collectively. We exist in an illusion of mis-creation. We perceive the world according to our thoughts and thus we have this sad, old world, bereft of love. Any individual can escape the illusion and a few have. Most of us try to make the best of it. We are now at a pivotal time in our evolution where we can see that we can have a world of love. It is time to give up all that we have been taught; embrace the truth, we are all beautiful, innocent children of God. Look through the eyes of innocence. See only Love. Only Love exist.

Wednesday
Good Morning. I sit here this morning knowing that I live in Paradise, except what goes through my mind. Thoughts of a less than positive nature can ruin an amazingly perfect environment. Our minds are over rated. Sure they are good at figuring things out; at least things that have a logical basis. Our real source of knowledge is our heart; where love flows. Our minds are rich in data but dry, when it comes to real substance; which, of course, is love. Creativity occurs when the heart drives the mind. That is, the mind is a servant of the heart. The other way around and you have chaos disguised as logic. It can be painful.
So if I sit here listening to my heart, I see the world is perfect. Love is. If I lapse and pay attention to an untethered mind; I well might add emotion to one of those errant thoughts and thus end up in a hell of my own making. I have enough experience observing my mind, that I don't do that, much. I can't say never. How we evolved to let our sterile minds rule our hearts; I don't know. Minds cannot love. Without the heart, the mind will lead towards violence and chaos.
We have discovered our mistake. More and more of us are recognizing that we must stay centered in our heart and use our minds, instead of letting our minds use us.When our hearts are in the lead; does duality end?
It is difficult living in this world and stay heart centered. The world, as we have known it, constantly invites fear, which destroys your loving feelings. Note the past tense {the world we have known}. You might not realize it yet; but, that world is done; done and gone. The forces of darkness can no longer keep that old world afloat. So our mind/heart struggle is now only habit. Without the dark impinging upon us, we will soon learn to stay in our hearts. That will be the end of duality.
We will still struggle a little while. Habits are hard to break. There is support now for us, to give up the old habit of paying attention to thoughts, that are not loving. The universe of love is beckoning to us. The unity of Love is drawing us closer.
Relax. Center on your heart. Let love flow through you.

LAUGHING WATER FARM
The early spring is propelling us to get inside projects finished before we need to do gardening chores and other outside activities. Jamie makes hand hooked rugs, using strips of wool she gets from old coats. She has been working on a carpet for the stairs, which has been a rather challenging project. Today, is the day, she lays it on the stairs; it is not a simple procedure. It is a very beautiful carpet and I could not do justice in an attempt to describe it. It is a magnificent addition to our household.
Everything on our homestead is going nicely. We are getting a gallon of milk a day from Lilly [goat] and Sophia had two very healthy doelings a few days ago. Starting tomorrow, we will get two gallons of milk a day. It will be time for cheese and yogurt making. Our chickens are laying enough, that we now have plenty for ourselves, and a, some, to give away.
Our sheep have yet to lamb; we have two ewes that could lamb any day and one that has a couple weeks to go. We just want a small herd, no more than seven, so we have plenty of pasture in case of drought. We do have more land that could be fenced in for pasture; something we have been meaning to do for some time.
We have turkeys and geese laying. I generally let the geese raise their own children. They are good parents and produce a good batch of goslings. They do a good job of protecting them from predators until their adolescence and then they often fall prey to the foxes that roam our neighborhood. Adult geese are safe from foxes, but half grown ones seem to be their favorite food.
I have not had success in letting turkeys hatch their eggs. Usually, I collect them and incubate a few. I sell about thirty young turkeys a year and raise up ten or so for ourselves. I may let the turkeys set on their eggs this year and hope for the best. We have a lot to do this Summer and it would be nice to be relieved of this chore. I know other people have had success letting their turkeys set.
Well, this has been a Laughing Water Farm update.

WHILE WE WAIT
There is so much going on and so little I can report on, with any confidence of accuracy. There is going to be an explosion of information coming forth any day now. An example of government managed news is the reporting on the recent massacre in Afghanistan. Many people are suspicious of the lone soldier explanation and for good reason. All independent reporting, i.e. Afghan, has been ignored. If you are interested in a more complete description of this event just Google Afghan massacre cover-up. I won't go into it here, as I am not sure it is helpful, other than to drive home, "what you think of as news - isn't".
It is not good for my consciousness to constantly attempt to uncover every untruth, portrayed in the media. I already know that there is little truth to be found and it is more important for me to stay focused on the Light. This is a highly individual choice; when I watch the news, I see it as something somebody believes and it is interesting to see what the latest propaganda is. When it disturbs me I turn it off. It would, probably, be better not to watch it at all.
I think we do much better for mankind if we continue to focus on what is loving about our world. Imagine yourself as a generator of unconditional love. Constantly beam out love to those around you and the rest of the world. Especially when you find yourself absorbed in some negativity; remind yourself that you are here to shower love upon the world. Practice beaming unconditional love into the hearts and minds of all.
I know waiting is hard. If you remember to love; it will be easier. It won't be long for the truth to be known.
Love and Peace, Gregg
