ENDLESS SUMMER

When we were kids Summer was endless, wasn't it? It was for me. Even as an adult, there usually was a time when Winter seemed like an impossible idea. It was going to be Summer forever. I hope I reach that point this year, before Fall and Winter beckon.

These days time seems to fly for most people and as you get older it is amazing. Time remains paradoxical, even now, it can be painfully slow, if one is waiting for something.

Time is an illusion. A helpful illusion. It helps us measure how much we are waking up. We can think back at how we looked at the world a few years ago and see how we have changed. We won't know if the world has changed or our perception of the world has changed.

This Summer, more of what has been hidden, is going to be known. Information about how we have been hoodwinked and manipulated is going to throw many people into a tailspin. Issues are going to arise that will make our current struggles meaningless. Divisions between conservatives and  liberals; races; nationalities; sexes; ages; all current divides will be rendered meaningless. We will be overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of the misinformation we have been fed about EVERYTHING.

I mean EVERYTHING. We will discover that nothing we thought of as true is true. All history, all science, all political thought, everything has been manipulated for someones advantage.

Hey! This is not a bad thing. It will be a shock, but when we get over our surprise we will see the real world that was hidden because of our mis-perception.  The real world, created by every loving thought and intention we ever had, exist behind this veil of misinformation. Only love is. All that we have been taught is part of the illusion. All that is not love will be swept away.

The awakening process has two parts; seeing what is actually there {the loving world hidden from view} and seeing how we have been manipulated. I haven't been able to discern how each individual should deal with this process. I suspect there is no should.

It appears that some folks can see through the veil without much contemplation about how we have been manipulated. Other folks need to turn over every rock and examine the wriggly, squirmy things, representing the lies and deceits, that have occurred over the ages.

We all need to open our eyes. Some of us have to face the ugliness of our belief systems. Some folks can give up their beliefs as soon as they see the error, others will need to see chapter and verse about how they were fooled.

We will awaken. The light is too bright. We cannot stay asleep.

There will be much startling information emerging. We won't be overwhelmed. We will be freed to see what really is.

AND LIFE GOES ON

I feel like it is my nap time. I didn't get a good night sleep. A couple days ago I had a sore neck, on one side. Nothing serious. The kind that one gets by sleeping on it wrong. Whatever I did yesterday made it worse. I couldn't get comfortable last night and slept sporadically until about 4:30AM. Only then, did it occur to me to take some aspirin. After that, I slept well, but I had to get up early, do some chores and get my car into the garage for maintenance by 8:AM.

I don't take any medication and it is such a long time since I had a headache or any other reason for aspirin, I just didn't think of it. The first thing I said to Jamie when I came down stairs was, "I am an idiot". She said, "Well I know that, but just what are you referring to?" I knew I was giving her too good an opening.

More and more things are coming out in the open concerning how we are hoodwinked, sometimes by well meaning forces and other times by the wish for profit or control.

Remember the fat scare? How Ancel Keys, et al, linked heart disease to fat intake? Well, many of us didn't believe it but we gave up arguing about it because, those supporting, it had all those experts. There has been science refuting the hypothesis all along but it rarely emerged in the mainstream press. Now the refutations are hitting the main stream media. There is no link between natural saturated fat and heart disease. The only damaging saturated fats are artificial e.g. margarine and hydrogenated products; which may cause vascular inflamation.

It seems like most of the folks got sucked in to this pseudo-science and in the meantime the drug industry made billions on cholesterol lowering drugs. The potential harmfulness of these drugs is well known to many physicians and the news of this well soon be emerging. In the meantime enjoy your bacon and eggs. They are good for you.

Another hypothesis, that is about to be exploded, is that of climate change. There is no doubt that climate change is happening. It always does. Sometimes it speeds up sometimes it slows down. Is it a reason for panic? Whenever fear is used to motivate the public, look underneath for reasons. I like Al Gore and when "The Inconvenient Truth" came out you could count me as one of the global warming believers. Then I looked at the solution. What! Cap and Trade? I researched it. There is no way it would reduce carbon in the atmosphere in time to affect climate change. However, it was a way for industry to make billions and billions, perhaps trillions of dollars from the tax payer. Both governments and industry could glut themselves with the people's money. For what? I urge you to look at the ideas promoted to reduce carbon emissions, see for yourself.

I am also sure that our pollutions do effect climate change. How much is the question. We need to assess honestly how much the climate is changing and gauge our contributions. This hasn't been done. We jumped right into hysteria mode with the hope of pushing through an industry pleasing solution.

It is all done very cleverly. Us liberals, lined up with the believers, partly because we saw the conservatives, especially the Tea Party types as deniers. If they are denying it, it must be true, right?

I have a simple question, "If climate change is a dire concern, wouldn't we [the government] be demanding to end all pollution now?" Us folks concerned about the environment have been campaigning all our adult lives to end pollution. We love our Earth. We love our life. We are sick of being poisoned. How many people are dying or sick because of pollution? So................the powers that be come out with an unobservable and unprovable hypothesis that carbon is the culprit. Carbon an essential ingredient for life. They come up with a solution that will increase the wealth of the top ten percent immeasurably. Does that make sense? What? We can't just pass a law that this type of pollution will not be permitted? What about all the poisons we are pouring into the air and water, When are we going to do something about that?

We need to re-look at all the data so far. If it is plausible that carbon is the culprit. We simply pass a law prohibiting the emissions. After all, it is our world; corporations don't own it. Keep in mind, if we ever hear the phrase "settled science" know we are being hoodwinked. There is no such thing. Ask a scientist.

Have a great Friday! Celebrate that we are beginning to see. Shine your light brightly. Let us love ourselves and extend that love to those next to us.

A COOL SUMMER DAY

It has been quite warm the last few days, in fact it has been sweltering at times. It started cooling down last evening and this Morning it was 46 degrees, close to a record low for this date. I haven't heard a meteorological explanation yet. But, hey, it's Minnesota.

Perhaps twenty years ago, we were given a seedling black walnut, from some good friends of ours [a couple]. It grew in the yard of the the woman's Mother. I named the tree Sophia's tree after her Mother.

The tree in now a magnificent specimen, It has a straight trunk and is beautifully shaped. It produces a copious amount of nuts that the squirrels plant all over. We have to pull up little black walnut seedlings from the flower and vegetable gardens.

I would like to have a black walnut grove and I have wondered why one hasn't developed in places where I haven't pulled up the seedlings. There was a nice young tree about seven or eight feet tall growing in a small fenced area where I have raised broilers in the past. I had opened the gate to the area from the sheep pasture because I wanted the sheep to keep the weeds down in the enclosure. The sheep didn't bother the tree.

However, a couple days ago I saw a deer chewing on the leaves and this Morning the tree was pretty much denuded. Perhaps that is why we don't have a walnut grove.

I have discovered a downside to black walnuts. The roots produce a toxin that is harmful and even fatal to some plants. The rule of thumb is to keep vulnerable plants at least forty feet from the drip line. My favorite apple tree, a Fireside, is showing signs of distress. I am not sure that is the problem but it is little too close. I have another Fireside I planted a few years ago, so I have a replacement in case the worse happens.

Getting back to deer. I love them. They are a joy to watch. They love our yard. They prune our apple trees as far as they can reach. They are getting to be more of a pest. We don't hunt, but our neighbors do and the deer still keep multiplying. They seem to be getting more tolerant of the human presence. They come right up to the house and eat the lilies and tulips growing around the foundation. This year they don't startle when I approach. I can walk to about twenty feet of them and then they just amble off like they didn't have a care in the world. Something has changed,

And, we are all changing. We are learning to accept life as it comes, without judgement, without regret, without remorse. Perhaps these feeling flicker momentarily. They don't drive us. We can see the love in everything. There is only love and learning about love.

It seems to me that, we as a people, have to re-emerge ourselves in Nature and reclaim our place as one of our Mother's residents. First, we need to understand and experience our oneness with the planet. We are individually and collectively part of the planet system.

We are not only residents. We have the capacity to be caretakers. Would we have the capacity to be caretakers if it wasn't our function?

We have done everything to destroy our Mother. It is now time to make amends. Each of us has some ability to enhance life on Planet Earth. Perhaps cleaning up. Perhaps improving soil on a small garden plot. As we sense our oneness with the Earth, we will insist all pollution and destruction end. Yes, we do have the power. Don't doubt it.

We may begin by loving and appreciating Nature and our part in it. When we meditate, let us listen to what the Earth is telling us. Let's ask for direction. How can we help?

LIFE ON LAUGHING WATER FARM lll

I wrote two other blogs with the same title [not intentionally] so I thought I would label this one correctly.

Living in Minnesota, we can't ever talk about typical weather. It varies too much. Yet we can look at averages from year to year and make some pronouncements that have some reality. The last couple of years the weather has been weird or at least atypical [if I may be allowed to use the term].

We had the Winter that would never end; near record snow and cold. Then we had a long Wintry/Spring mix. It seems the weather could not make up its mind which it was. Then Spring/Summer came with torrents of rain. The lakes, ponds and creeks are higher than they have ever been since we lived here [almost 40 years]. The water has been higher for a few days in the past, but this high water has persisted for over a month. There are several fields in our area that remain fallow. The farmers can't work the land.

Spring/Summer is finally yielding to Summer, but an unusually wet Summer. Jamie has the garden all in. The plants love the rain and the garden is doing very well. Our pastures are growing much faster than the animals can eat it. The sheep pasture is very long. I have six sheep and I would need about twenty to keep the grass down in a year like this. The goat pasture was cut in half when we put on the addition. We could put the fence back up [it was taken down to let the trucks in] but we don't have enough goats to keep that grass down either. Jamie has been getting milk from the Amish for making cheese and we do not know, at this point, whether we want to continue raising goats.

In our climate not making a decision means the pastures will turn into forest in a very short time. The forest takes over very quickly here. We can't let the pastures go for more than a few years.

Our chickens are laying more eggs than we can eat. We generally have six dozen or so in the refrigerator. We give them out to friends and family.

The biggest changes in our life are about to happen. Naomi and her son Elijah moved in with us about five years ago so Naomi could prepare for and finish Nursing School. Naomi has a BFA degree and is a very fine artist. However, our world doesn't automatically reward artists. She recently finished school and received her Nursing license. In the coming months she will probably want to get on with her life elsewhere. In the meantime, our youngest son, Noah returned from California. He has been pursuing a career in acting and has tentatively decided the pursuit may have as good results in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. Or, he may decide it needs to be an avocation rather than a career. Noah's ten near old son, Gregory, will be joining us for a month this Summer.

So the ebb and flow of life continues on Laughing Water Farm. The comings and goings of life keeps age from settling in. Being in my eighth decade, I sometimes think what I want is peace, quiet and regularity. But is that what I really want? Do we really live our life by our own plan? I don't think I have.

It is fun to plan and it is useful; but, life comes to us day by day and it may or may not resemble our plan. We are learning to embrace every day with love. We know that peace and quiet comes from inside us. It cannot ever be found on the outside. Life is to be lived. It is better to get into the river and enjoy the flow. It is okay to sit on the bank and watch the river of life go by for awhile. But hey! Let's get wet.

LOVING OURSELVES

I woke up a little crabby this Morning. I complained about this and I complained about that; fortunately Jamie didn't get defensive. She probable thought, "That old geezer is at it again". That was good. She loved herself sufficiently that she didn't take my complaints personally. Why was I complaining? In some way, I wasn't loving myself. When we love ourselves sufficiently, we don't see the outside world as dangerous. Attacks and criticism either roll off our back or are seen as calls for love, which they are. When we really love ourselves we know nothing can hurt us.

Although it is an old teaching; lack of love for oneself is the basis of all problems, we find that, we each need to learn it and sometimes, by rather painful lessons. Like most things we learn, the concept is simple. It is easy to grasp intellectually. Yet we resist it. We don't want to think that the problems we experience arise from not loving ourselves. We may be able to see it clearly in others, but ourselves, not so much.

If we accept the concept, we will see ourselves in a new way. When we are irritable we won't trick ourselves into thinking the irritation comes from others. Oh, we can always explain what bugs us in terms of the other, we don't have any difficulty doing that. We all become experts at blaming our crabbiness on the outside world. We can quit doing that.

Some form of meditation is invaluable. We can learn to do mini-meditations, that is, we can learn to drop into our quiet space just for a moment. This Morning when I felt the propensity to complain, I could have sat down, and dropped in to a quiet place for a few minutes, reminded myself that my crabbiness arose from some kind of self-criticism and avoided risking the inferno by complaining. We like to gamble. I might not have been able to see just what was bugging me; but I would have been able to realize it was my problem and not the worlds. The quiet is the Love that surrounds us. In that love all irritation dissolves.

Regardless of how we see ourselves, at this moment, it is helpful to convince ourselves that at our core we are love. It is not up for question; we are part of Source which is love. We can't quit being love no matter how we might try. Everything else we think about ourselves is illusion. It is an overlay caused by negativity.

When we know we are love it is easier to shuck away those layers of negativity that sometimes surround us. We know that whatever we are criticizing ourselves about, it is simply, not true.

We need to, not only love ourselves, we need to fall in love with ourselves and see ourselves as the great beings of light that we are. This is true humility. How can we be arrogant when we see that everybody is a great being of light?

We will shine our light on the world today and bring ourselves just a little closer to paradise.

Happy Friday.

Celebrate the Summer Solstice.

BIDING OUR TME

We are not good at waiting. We can see the old world is grinding to a halt. We take it on faith that something good is coming out of it. We wake up in the Morning and read about the nearly 700 corpses, of infants and toddlers, found in a home for children run by Nuns in Ireland and then we read about the GMO crops that are threatening to destroy agriculture. Even if we avoid the news, the knowledge of a world beset by war and carnage filters through. Yes, we know it is almost over, but sometimes we are not sure we can make it.

Waiting is tough! We don't do it well; but there is good news here, too. The old news that is emerging, i.e. the corpses in the septic tank, has to come out. We need to accept how corrupt our institutions have been. We need to rid ourselves of their brainwashing. More and more things of this nature will be known. They actually help us move forward. We need not dwell on them. See them as part of the corrupt world we are gratefully leaving behind.

The other disturbing news is, either the last gasps of the Cabal attempting to start a war to save themselves, or it is the money makers that are willing to destroy anything for a buck. They are birds of a feather and perhaps are the same peoples. We can safely ignore them. The Cabal does not have the punch to start a major war. Folks are on to them. The vast majority of the worlds people are calling for an end to war. The cabal is helpless without the support of the people. The GMO people, and their ilk, are destroying the hand that feeds them. Their goal is to take over corporate agriculture and they would like to prohibit alternative agriculture. Folks are wise to them, too and even if they weren't, the structure that supports them cannot hold.

Sure it is hard to wait, BUT WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT. It is not only safe, but it is wise to ignore all negativity. I am not saying we should deny its existence. We just need to know that it has to be for now and doesn't need to influence our lives.

We are in charge of our perception. We are in charge of what we see. We are in charge of what we experience. There is a loving world to see. In actuality the Love and Light is growing in the world by leaps and bounds. Let's turn our heads away from the negativity and focus on the Love around us. When we can really 'see', we will know we have never left paradise. We just forgot about it for a little while.

Always, always remember; Love is the only solution.

HEAVEN

When I awoke this Morning I was a little crabby. Well not real crabby. Sensitive, like the wrong word or expression would make me crabby. I must admit this manifested to a minor degree. I am not sure why, a dream perhaps?

When I went outside, to let the chickens out, this negative state of being was washed away. What a beautiful Morning. The light! The light! Oh the Morning light, it penetrates your very being. It is truly Heaven. I wish I was a poet or an artist and could capture Morning light in words or paint. Perhaps film.

It is not hard for me to see Heaven in nature. When my mind is clear and my eyes open there is no veil between me and the natural world. I am just in awe of the beauty. The precision. The unending magnificence. No matter how deep or shallow our gaze, all we can see is miracles.

Yet, so often, we go through the day not seeing. We pay attention to the noise and blather in our minds. A constant parade of thoughts. Little worries created in the past that are projected into the future. We miss nature and more importantly we miss much of the love that flows between us.

What if we knew that Heaven was right here? Right here. What if we were, by our love and intent, already lifted out of the 3rd dimension and embraced by the freedom and love of the 4th dimension? What if? What if there was nothing keeping us from heaven but the thoughts in our mind?

What would we do then? More importantly, how would we be then? Certainly if we knew Heaven could be stepped into by thinking differently, we would do it.

We have lived with this promise for years and years. Lifetimes, perhaps. We keep waiting for some sign to show us that we have made the transition. We keep hoping some angel will come down and swoop us up and carry us to Paradise. Suppose this is a mistake? Suppose that the light and love has increased on Earth to the point where, for some time now, we could take a sidewise step into Heaven?

This Morning's experience showed me we could take this step today. Now. There is nothing to wait for. Every family, every individual can have paradise around them, now. We can take our focus away from the media, that portrays death and destruction as the norm, and constantly fills our minds with fear thought of every variety.

So it comes down to what we already know, the only thing that keeps us from Heaven is our thoughts. But now, the onslaught of negativity from the outside has attenuated to the point where the resistance to stepping into paradise is negligible.

Most of the resistance we feel about seeing differently comes from our own selves. We are so imbued by this 3rd dimension that it is hard to imagine anything else. We can't believe there could be anything else. We are not really stuck. We just feel stuck. The veil is very thin.

Let us today make the decision. Let us fall in love with nature, with each other, with the Earth. Let's step into Paradise.

ADDENDUM

FOR THE CURIOUS {I would be one of those}

For a modest expenditure, we have running water on our homestead. It was the pressure switch. Thanks to Bill's Well Drilling of Ogilvie.

Have a great weekend!

UNCERTAINTY

This could be a short blog. Our water pump went out yesterday Morning. The repairmen are supposed to come out this morning. When they come I will need to lend a hand. Our pump is at the bottom of a hand dug 13 foot pit that is lined with stones. It is over a hundred years old. The stone wall sheds stones if one isn't careful. At one time there were metal rungs in the side that enabled a person to climb down and out. They have rotted away and now a ladder is required.

Yesterday Morning when I was doing chores the water quit flowing from the hose. I hoped it was just a kink somewhere, no luck, the pump wasn't working. I thought the pump motor burned out. Then about six hours later the pump came on. I filled up the sink in preparation to do the dishes and the water stopped again. Since then it has been coming on and off without much pattern. I figure it must be a malfunctioning pressure switch.

We have an outhouse for emergencies and we have several jugs of water in the basement if needed. Our electric service is quite reliable but an outage of a few hours due to a thunder storm is not unusual either. So it is not dreadfully inconvenient when we have a well problem.

Still the uncertainty. Excitement is great. Folks don't resonate very favorably to uncertainty. In this dimension fear is so attractive to our minds. Uncertainty attracts fear. How long will it last? How much will it cost? Will they be able to fix it? There is no end to the fear questions that may arise. Interestingly, I have kept my cool. I have been centered and peaceful..............so far.

However, a much less consequential thing happened the day before yesterday. I went out to start my little truck and it wouldn't start. It was fine when I parked it. I charged the battery and cleaned the terminals and it still wouldn't start. The solenoid clicked put no starter action. Interestingly enough on the day before, I admired a car that was parked in front of a store, the owner said that he had to replace the starter three times since he bought the car. He went on to explain that the starter was located in a place where it got exceptional heat and it was a problem with this model.  I thought it was interesting that this stranger volunteered this information. I remembered that, when I concluded that, it was my starter that was bad. This incident with the truck is of no real concern yet it caused me more unhappiness. Perhaps, it was the synchronicity seen as a forewarning. Whatever, it did bum me out. So far this well episode is just another minor bump in the road.

Whenever we experience uncertainty we can have delightful expectations. We can be certain that a loving universe will bestow blessings upon us. Or we can indulge in a great panoply of fear and influence our future. Whether we actually affect what happens, or just our perception of what happens, we make misery for ourselves.

We have realized that fear has no place in our lives. The events of our lives come to us day by day. When we stay centered and 'in love' we accept and enjoy our experiences. Maybe enjoy is not the right word, but we don't suffer, we experience and learn and appreciate the richness of life.

Light and love is washing away our capacity to fear. As we move into the fourth dimension fear will become a memory and then fade away completely.

Celebrate this Friday the Thirteenth as a magical day of Love.

A CRYSTAL BALL

We are told by our mentors not to worry about the future. We should be in the now, own it and love it, and the future will care for itself. I think most of us agree with that. Yet, yet, wouldn't be nice to have a little glimpse of what is coming next. When we see a car coming down the road, we assume that it will pass us, as we walk along. Sometimes it will stop and turn around or pull into a driveway before it gets to us. The future is the same way. Some things are as obvious as the approaching car, other things take us by surprise.

What one of us would not look into the crystal ball if we had one? Several people have predicted a major economic collapse for this Summer. If I bring this up, someone will say, "They have been predicting that for forty years". Yes, I think that is right. Yet if you are interested in studying the subject, I think you will agree it could happen. Of course, that doesn't mean anything, one could have made the case anytime in the last forty years.

Do we know in our hearts the immediate future? Do we have an inner crystal ball that helps us adapt to what's coming? I don't know. I have been feeling there are some great changes coming, for some time now. And there are great changes happening. People are waking up to how they have been controlled and used; how they have been kept in varying degrees of poverty and helplessness so they are easier to exploit.

Folks are recognizing that they could live in paradise right now with a little tweaking of the system. There is no reason for poverty, violence or want of any kind. There is sufficient for everyone. There doesn't have to be rich and poor. Powerful and helpless. We are all equal. We love each other. We can make it happen.

More and more of us see this simple fact; Paradise is our choice. Our love is raising the consciousness of the Earth, soon all will see it. The peoples of the Earth are emerging from the Third dimension, the space of judgement, inequality, duality, and most of all FEAR. We are moving into the Fourth Dimension characterized by love, absence of fear, equality, recognition that all contribute to the whole in an equal manner.

We know that the old structure has to go. A financial collapse makes perfect sense. The old institutions that were dedicated to the control of the populations have to fade away. Certainly there will be some upheaval and uncertainty. Some folks, who are just beginning to see, may need help.

What we have learned to think of as true, in this Third Dimension, will have little value in our new level of consciousness. There will be much unlearning that needs to take place. I have envisioned Healing Centers springing up around the country to help people in the transition.

As the old economic structures collapse, we are going to have to produce our food locally. This change is already in progress, it will become greatly accelerated.

We will take part in the healing of the Earth. No more gouging and tearing and ripping apart of our planet. We will learn to communicate with our Mother. We will learn how to live with Her thankfully and appreciate the great bounty she provides.

Great changes are coming. We all have our own crystal ball inside us. When we are in our quiet place we will see what we need to do. It is true, when we are in the 'now' the future will take care of itself. We will see how 'to be' and what 'to do'.

LIFE GOES ON

People say that life brings us the challenges we need to grow. I suppose that is true. At a soul level we yearn for reunion with source; therefore, we create life experiences that will help us grow to be more like source which is unconditional love.

We complicate matters by judging our progress. We attack ourselves for not being more perfect and create discouragement, depression and despair. We tend to evaluate ourselves against an unattainable model which just keeps us stuck.

We will never be perfect, while living in these bodies, in this dimension. We will never be perfect because judgement is not capable of perceiving perception. In the eyes of Source we are perfect. Source sees only love. There is only Love.

So let us forget all that nonsense. We are perfect. Sure we have aspects that are not love and we are shedding them as we evolve. We just need to know that. Evaluation is not necessary. We know when love is lacking. We are not happy. That is all we need to know. Be happy.

Life will bring us what we need to learn. As I have said before, we are the writers, directors, producers and actors in our drama. Everything that comes to us is ours. It is our scene to lovingly act out. If we are in the moment and embrace it as our own, our actions will be the ones that take us forward.

The moment that life presents to us may seem daunting but embracing it lovingly brings love, joy and peace as well as a solution.

Sometimes when I write about our sojourn on this planet. It sounds so serious. When we think of the pain we have caused ourselves because of our judgement and mis-perception it may seem serious. The solution to the dilemma is not seriousness, however.

The way out of this dilemma is through love. Love is light. Love is joy. Love is happiness. No matter what life brings us, if we fully embrace the moment as our creation, love will be there. Peace and joy will not be far behind.

Regardless of how we feel at the moment, we are great beings of light. Our laughter is light. Our smile is light. Our voices are light. When we shine our light it multiplies across the Earth. Every person our light touches is elevated and that increases their light. The light will multiply to the extent that all darkness will be driven out. Then we will 'see'.

WHAT'S HOLDING US BACK?

This morning when I went out to do the chores, I knew I was in paradise. The weather is perfect. The air is warm and silky. Everything is alive! When our minds are open to love and beauty it is easy to see the physical world as paradise.

Of course, what is happening between our ears is what determines what we see. There are those perfect times when we see love everywhere. The peace and joy we experience is indescribable. We would love to have the whole world share it with us.

Then there are other times. Many of us have been on this journey for many years. We have learned a great deal. We know the things that keep us stuck; judgement, defensiveness, lack of compassion, clinging to the past, fear of the future, need to control and more.

Sometimes we wake up in the Morning and see the perfection of love and we are determined to hang onto paradise. Then we notice a while later that it has slipped away and our minds are occupied with some nonsense. What happens? We intellectually accept that we out picture our minds. Why do we take our eyes off paradise and pay attention to some silliness in our minds?

It seems to be a continuous change. It is like a film strip. Sometimes every other frame is paradise. Sometimes, only, every tenth or twentieth frame. It mixes rapidly, one way or another, depending on the content of our minds. We forget we are the directors, actors and producers of this movie, but that is a longer story.

In the bigger picture we have come to believe that the light is shining on the Earth with such intensity that everybody will be lifted out of this Third Dimension, which is characterized by duality and the creation of reality with fear. We will rise to the Fourth Dimension where real choice is possible and fear is no longer existent. We will be out of the time loop where we create the future from the past. We will be in the ever present now. Time as we presently perceive it will not exist.

"Okay fine", we might say. "But we don't need to wait. What keeps us from entering the Forth Dimension now?" Well, nothing but us. Look back on the list I made about the things that hold us back, add to it what particular things that might affect you. How big do these things still loom in your consciousness. I am sure we can all make some improvements.

The biggest thing that is holding us back is our overall state of consciousness. Sure we still slip up and judge sometime. And, yes, we overreact when so and so says this to us. And we are working on those things. Right? Look at the ground floor of who we think we are. Do we feel worthy of paradise? Can we really just step into Heaven?

We have spent eons living is situations where our self worth was minimized for the benefit of our controllers. In this life, we didn't have it so hot either. Our parents, teachers, priest, ministers etc. did not exactly help us brim over with confidence about our self worth.

So many of the very things we are trying to correct in ourselves e.g. defensiveness are hampered by this underlying feeling of unworthiness.

I have a suggestion. Let us proclaim worthiness! We are part of Source and by definition WORTHY. WE NEED TO KNOW IT! To know our worthiness we need to acknowledge it in all others.

Dimension are not space. The forth dimension is right here. So is the fifth and all the others. They are right here. We are in them now. We never left Heaven. We never left Source. We just fooled around with what life would be like in a denser consciousness. We just have our minds stuck in seeing through this third dimension filter.

So know we are not really lost. We are just going through the Mad House at the carnival. We can step right out when we have seen enough.

ANOTHER THING. Stop being so serious. It is a Mad House at the carnival. Laugh about it. Laugh and laugh and laugh some more.

Let us laugh and love our way out of this Third Dimension. Hey! Paradise is all around. We didn't really leave it.

LOST IN THE ILLUSION

When people say, "How are you doin'" I often answer, "I am putting one foot in front of another." I mean it in a jocular way. At my age if you can still navigate on this planet everything is okay. But sometimes, there is no humor in it. Sometimes we trudge through life without experiencing much joy. We go from one thing to another without seeing [or looking for] love and light. We don't know what our life would look like if we did.

We need to keep in mind that everything that is not love is illusion. When we knew we were part of Source and we understood our role as co-creators; we could experience nothing but love. We created with the Energy of Love. Love is infinite we couldn't see anything that was not love. We wanted to experiment with creating separate from The One. We could do that. Separation from Source led to separation from each other. Fear entered in and we each began creating our individual experience. Powerful and free we were able to create heaven or hell for ourselves.

We forgot we were powerful and being free became an illusive idea. But we still continued to create our separate versions  of hell or heaven. For thousands of years we have been stuck creating a future from the thoughts of the past. We have been going around and around following whatever glimmer of hope we could see. Separate and divided we were easily manipulated by those seeking power. The Great Ones came and went. They taught a way out of our dilemma. Some of us listened for a little while. Some successfully escaped the loop. They became teachers.

Gradually we caught on; Love is The Answer. More and more of us caught on. We could see that when we looked for love and light our lives changed. We realized that experiencing the love and light from each other was what we wanted. Life could be filled with love. Life could be full of joy. Life could be continuous fun. Hey! It occurred to us that we could create heaven. We don't need any opposite.

We began to realized that heaven or hell on this Earth was our choice. We chose Heaven. Of course there was some kind of critical mass. When enough people realized, at once, that love was our choice, we opened up to the love of the Universe that awaited our decision. Since then Heaven on Earth was guaranteed.

The illusion is thinning. We are beginning to see through it. But it is what we know. It is what we have always known. It is not easy to take our belief away from it. Sometimes we are lost in the illusion. We forget to look for the light and love. That's okay. We won't be lost long. The Energy of Love is sweeping across the Earth. We can't keep our eyes closed to Paradise for long.

When we find ourselves trudging through the day, forgetful of the light; pause, clear the mind, feel the love that surrounds us. We are free. We are free to love. If it is not love it is the illusion.

GIVING UP DEFENSIVENESS

Years ago I was taught that vulnerability is strength. Notice, I said, taught not learned. If I had learned it, I would not be writing this blog. My expanded consciousness may have shown me other ways to serve. Or maybe not.

Being vulnerable doesn't mean we are open to being hurt. It means we are open and know we can't be hurt. When we are confident in who we are, opinions, and slings and arrows of all sorts, cannot hurt us. We see, that attacks from others, are a call for love.

Defensiveness keeps us out of the present. It keeps us in the time loop where we create the future from the past.

There is all kind of defensiveness, from a strong reaction that begins a verbal battle to a more subtle response in the mind. We might say to ourselves, "He is just a jerk" in response to some minor slight. In a sense there is no such thing as being a little defensive. All defensiveness deprives us of the moment and keeps us from 'seeing'. Defensiveness closes us off.

Defensiveness keeps us from being open. It affects everything. We can't enjoy anything in life without being open. Mundane events like smelling a flower; enjoying a sunset; appreciating the rain; the taste of food; the sensations of our bodies; etc., all these things are greatly affected by our willingness to be open. Which is our willingness to be vulnerable.

What are we protecting? Why are so many of us prickly with our readiness for defense? How did it happen that we felt the need to protect ourselves from each other?

The simple answer is, it is the ego. The ego is always on the lookout for judgement. It has become finely honed to protect it's existence from everything and everybody.

Do we know that the ego is not there to master us? Do we know that the ego can be our servant and not our master? I have mentioned before that the ego originally was a helper to aid us in our negotiation of these bodies. We were used to spirit and oneness. We needed some sense of vulnerability to protect our bodies. The ego helped us be aware of our surroundings. I am sure we lived for eons in separate bodies but knowing our oneness.

Then entered fear and the control of the many by the few. To make a long story short; the ego became a mechanism for separation. Motivated by fear, we became suspicious of each other. Defensiveness was born.

We are on our way back to 'oneness'. We want to give up all defensiveness, so we can enjoy love and beauty. Let us not demonize our egos and create another battle. We can quiet our egos like we would quiet a tantrumy child. Remember we are responsible for the ego's misuse. The ego uses fear and judgement. We don't need to feed its misuse. If we just love our egos and remind them that they are only to serve spirit, they will gradually give up their error.

We are beings of light. We are beloved by Source. We have nothing to defend. When we experience an attack from another, remember that they are not really an 'other'. They are one of our reflections. The other person in this drama has defensive issues of their own and they are using offense in an attempt to attain love.

We are used to reacting. Their doesn't seem to be time to modify our behavior. That is an illusion within the illusion. We are the time masters and there is always time. At first we won't catch ourselves until after we have reacted. When we catch ourselves we can change our reaction to love. Love is always the answer. It won't take long and we will respond with love initially. We will learn to respond to all attack with love. I know, when we feel stuck in reactions, it seems impossible to change. It is really quite simple. Not easy, perhaps, but simple. We will learn to see all attack as a call for love and offer love instead of reacting.

Sit with me for a moment and enjoy the peace. There is no past. The future is only an idea. There is this vastness, that is now. This vastness is Love. Enjoy the peace. Enjoy the quiet. Feel the Love.
