It was promising to see the headline in yesterday's paper, "POPE: WHO AM I TO JUDGE?" Wonderful to see an acknowledgement of our changing times. It is paradoxical that a church, founded on the principles of Jesus Christ, who taught us not to judge, would have set up a hierarchy dedicated to judgement. The intention is often hidden, but the purpose is clear, the church exist for the purpose of judgement and control.
Of course, the pope was talking about gay marriage or at least gay life, but this thought can be carried further and generalized. How can he judge? How can anyone judge? Christians and spiritual seekers, of all stripes, have often run into conflict between the core spiritual teachings of their religion and the practices of the leaders. Looking at Christianity, for example, reading what Jesus taught, it is clear we have no capacity to judge. Then, of course, there is no support for war, violence, revenge, punishment etc. that the church has heavily indulged in.
The prophets, teachers, avatars, seers etc, who came in to this world, to elevate us, could see 'oneness'. That is they could see past the body illusion to see the reality; that we are spirit that expresses oneness. We, all, derive from the same source. Our differences are made, by our belief in separateness, which is a peculiar belief of this duality planet. It was a grand experiment, seeing how far the idea of separateness could take us. We see it. We don't want to do it any longer.
Most of us, still have some difficulty understanding 'oneness'. Our egos are dedicated to defeat this belief. Our ego can only thrive in separateness. Our egos do not want us to consider giving up judgement, the reason for their existence. Yet we will find it is surprisingly easy to give up judgement, once we begin to make the first forays into seeing things differently. What a relief, not to have to judge. What a relief, not to have to have an opinion on everything. The peace that exist in the mind that does not judge is profound. Even, in the beginning, of giving up judgement, we feel the increase of peace.
The changes, that are soon to take place, will be easier to accept, if we can see ourselves as one. If we can see, each other, as fragments of source, who are all on a path to understanding their oneness, it will be easier to avoid judgement. We cannot understand, fully, the significance of anybody else's path. So, it isn't that, we shouldn't judge; so much, as we can't judge. We will never know enough. Again, know the peace, of not judging.
Soon all the old, ego based, hierarchies will be dissolved. We are equals. We all deserve the same wonderful life, rich in everything our Mother can give us. Sure, there are hierarchies based on abilities, talents and acquired knowledge, but they just define how we can best be of service. If my gift is carpentry I can serve people by building houses. If my gift is healing I can serve people that way.
Once we begin to understand 'oneness', we will appreciate any opportunity to serve others. We will understand that we can only give to ourselves. We, only serve ourselves, when you serve others. Peace, happiness and joy come from being of service. Yes! That is a reality. Isn't Love wonderful!
I need to serve humanity by cleaning up the kitchen.

THE DILEMMA
The last two Mornings, here on Laughing Water Farm have been marvelous. They followed a few days of cold and rain. The temperature was 20 degrees below normal F.
We were concerned, that our family get together, in honor of Noah and Gregory's homecoming, would be impaired. The forecast for Saturday went from poor to bad, first: it was partly cloudy with a high of 67 F; then it was partly Sunny with high in the 60s; as Saturday approached it got worse. By Saturday Morning it was in the low fifties and raining. The forecast didn't promise any improvement.
We were determined to stay in high spirits and well we did. The party was a great success! By five o'clock, the rain ceased [it was only a drizzle-most of the time]. Everybody got their tents up. We had a delicious dinner of lamb shish kebobs, Greek salad and other wonderful stuff. It was well after midnight before all were in bed.
The next Morning was glorious. It was, as if, it was making up for the day before, cool but Sunny with a deep blue sky and no mosquitoes. We were able to have our breakfast, of pork sausage, Jamie's home baked muffins hot out of the oven, and fresh berries, out on the deck; all washed down with a gallon of good coffee. Does it get any better than this?
What is the dilemma, as mentioned in the title? We have been told to love. We want to love everybody. We sometimes struggle to love everybody. We are told to love our neighbor as ourselves. And that is the dilemma: we can only love our neighbor as our self. We can't love anybody more than we love ourselves. That is the limit of our capacity to love; the degree we love ourselves. Do you love yourself?
Loving yourself does not mean being greedy. It does not mean being selfish. It doesn't mean focusing on your self. But, it does mean being kind to yourself. It does mean thinking well of yourself. It does mean avoiding negative thoughts about your self. It does mean giving up self judgement. We struggle with judgement. We must keep in mind that how we judge others, is always some reflection of self judgement. We will continue to see, our judgements about our self, reflected back to us.
None of these thought are new to us. We have heard them over and over again. We need to hear them over and over. We stubbornly hold on to, poor opinions of ourselves. We are very stubborn and it is expressed in both directions. We hang, stubbornly, on to our poor perceptions of ourselves, and we are stubbornly determined to learn to love, as we know we are able. We will succeed. Love always succeeds.
As we go about our daily life, be aware of your space [that area around you, that atmosphere, that bubble around you, the place where you breathe]. What is it filled with? Is it peaceful? Is it loving? Do you feel a warm glow? What do you feel? That space, that immediate experience, is of your making. It can, as easily, be a bubble of love, than anything else.
We have been imbued with self-criticism. Our culture, our families, our teachers have encouraged it. It is deeply engrained. It has become automatic. It takes conscious practice to get over it. That is why we need these reminders. It is a very rewarding practice. As you reject self criticism, you find yourself accepting others more. You feel their warm glow, You respond with a warm glow, There is nothing more reinforcing than love.
Yes, we are learning. let's pay attention to that space around us. Let's keep it filled with love,

CHANGING WORLD
Yes! The light is definitely increasing. People are awaking en masse. Thirteen millenniums, of shenanigans, fomented by the dark cast a heavy veil over our perception. We are beginning to throw off our negative learning and see the truth. Instead of Love, we were taught Fear. We were taught that living is dangerous and we needed the guidance made by fear. We made our perception of 'reality' based on this negative guidance.
We are rapidly correcting our error. We now know that all decisions must be made with unconditional love.
There are many positive changes occurring right now. Many of the changes have to do with, the exposure of the corruption, that has been going on all the time. Part of the awakening process is to see how bad it was/is. We must face up to how awful the world, we live in, was and is. Many of us feel that we need to dig and explore and root out the evil. Others of us, feel, that once we suspect the depth of the corruption, we need to focus on the positive and give it all the loving attention we can muster. Both are valuable services. The first group, the diggers, must guard against absorbing the negativity and developing cynicism. Folks doing this important work have found, that they can see the horror without judgement. They can see the perpetrators, as very misguided souls bereft of love, who need love shone on them. We forgive them. Who is in greater pain, the cabal members who, live without love, who found, only, power and wealth as having value, or the rest of us?
Our economic system, as we have known it, is coming to an end. I have written about this before and for the folks that have been paying attention, it is no surprise. Many people were concerned, that the end of our current system, would be accompanied by great calamity. It looks, now, like it will be a relatively benign event. There have been folks, working behind the scenes, in anticipation of the collapse. There is a system ready to be put in place. There will be confusion, of course, but the changes will, all, be positive in nature. A form of universal debt forgiveness will be in place soon. The slate will be wiped clean and for a new beginning. The era of corporation control is about over.
An example of the changes we are all to see: I read this morning that Pope Francis lifted the immunity the Holy See has had for centuries. Many members of the Vatican have hid, behind this immunity from prosecution, for crimes from bank fraud to pedophilia. The immunity will be lifted September 1, 2013. This will give those, open to prosecution, time to resign and/or plea bargain.
Those, who are alert to this kind of change, are seeing it everywhere. Remedies are being, put in place to deal with corruption, in all spheres of our lives. Everyday, something new is coming to light.
Many of us, however, feel that the biggest change is what we experience with neighbors and friends. Folks are are not willing to accept the manipulations of the mass media. We are much quicker to see through the machinations of those in power. We are constantly asked, to judge other countries and individuals. We are, continually, expected to see enemies, where none exist. It is easier and easier to ignore those invitations.
We know that Love is the only force there is. We refuse to ruled by fear. We know, that if left alone, we can create paradise in an instant. And we will.
Well, I have to do a little cleaning in my paradise. I have some dishes to wash and some shopping to do. We are having a family party tomorrow in honor of Noah and Gregory's visit and there is some yard work and shopping still to do.

WHERE DO WE RESIDE?
It is cool but the mosquitoes have abated. Sunday night we were able to sit outside, until nightfall, and have our dinner without being eaten ourselves.
We weaned our chicks from artificial heat [lamp] and we let them out into a penned enclosure. They are about five weeks old now and ready for new adventures. The enclosure is not very large and they, soon demolished the little greenery, that grew there. We let them out into the yard yesterday. They roamed through the fringes of the yard, in the tall grass and brush, scratching and finding wonderful things to eat.
I went out about 8PM to shoo them into their house, when I noted a small hawk fly up and drop a chick. It was one of the Colombian Wyandottes. It was partially eaten. A few minutes before, Jamie noted that the chicks all disappeared. Their house, is not far from our house, and one can easily observe their activities from our screen porch. I didn't think anything of it as it was time for them to go in.
Interestingly, I had forewarning of this event. About an hour earlier, the rooster, in our mature flock issued a warning call. I knew from his insistent chatter that he spied some danger. Then, Naomi, said "what was that" and stood up and looked out the screen. She was responding to the noise of a dead branch falling. But in my mind, I thought, "a hawk is after my chicks". Strange, why did that come into my mind, at least, an hour before the very event?
We have all had premonitions and glimpses into the future and, depending on our disposition, we ignore them, let them bother us, or follow them. However, few of us are able to take them seriously, because they mostly seem to be silliness, our minds make up. We can only assess their validity retrospectively.
Maybe, we have everything upside down. We are always trying to reach a higher consciousness, believing we are trapped in our bodies and existing in dense world. Yet, we are taught, that we are one with everything. We are taught, that we create this world with our thoughts and we are the authors of our experience. If that is true, how can we be these separate entities, that don't seem to know anything?
Let us look at our existence another way. Let us see ourselves, as the consciousness, we are trying to achieve. Let us accept, that we are already expanded beings, that we know our oneness with everything. We already know everything! Perhaps, we need to recognize, that we are limited by a perception, that was foisted on us a long time ago. We know our perception is a changeable and malleable thing. We have learned that it is our 'reality' but is it 'real' reality? While we feel stuck in these bodies we think we are stuck in this consensus reality.
Beginning today, let us accept that we are expanded beings, who are in touch with our oneness with All. Let us realize that our limited awareness is a temporary aberration. We can begin to look beyond our current awareness. Love is our connection. Love is our destination.

FREEDOM
My thoughts of writing, on Sunday morning, were optimistic; I might have known. My son, Noah and his son, Gregory were coming in from California, Sunday afternoon. Jamie and I still had much to do to prepare for the visit. They will be with us for two weeks. It has been a long anticipated visit; a very joyful time in our lives. That said; I don't know how my writing will go in the next two weeks. I will, hope, to keep you posted, in advance, if I will miss a blog.
What do we want freedom from? We can point to governments, religion, regulations, unjust laws. However, the outside world is our creation. Looking for freedom, from what we made, is looking at things backward. If we built a house much too small for our needs, then blamed the house for being too cramped and constricted, that would be silly, wouldn't it?
When we look around us, at the world, we know we are the authors of what we see. We created it with our thoughts and feelings. Sure we had tremendous input, from controlling factors, that shaped those thoughts and feelings. Still we built the house. How do we get out of this cramped, unsuitable, punishing house, we built?
That is what we are doing now. We are waking up! We are beginning to see, how our thoughts and feelings have been shaped so that we would, contribute our energy, to make what we did not want. One of the themes, we are going to look at today, is our sense of powerlessness. We have been convinced, we are individuals, who are near helpless, if we don't go along with a proscribed protocol. Our powerlessness is constantly reinforced. In fact, we are beings of great power. We don't need to accept this defective house.
We now realize, the only way we could be convinced of our powerlessness is through our own minds. How could our own minds be turned against us? In fact, there are many ways, any time we convince ourselves that negativity is positive, we have turned our mind against us.
Freedom must begin with the individual. As we free ourselves we release others from their prison. One way to free ourselves is to look at how we embrace suffering. Suffering is one of those negativities we have convince ourselves is honorable. On reflection, we realize suffering is never honorable. It is not something we gain from. Sacrifice doesn't lead to enlightenment. Suffering and sacrifice, help only, in that they urge you to stop doing what you are doing. When you touch a hot stove, you pull your hand away. You don't leave it there and tell yourself the pain is good for you.
We have been carefully taught that pain is good for us. Even 'good parents' will sometime say, during a punishment episode, "We are doing this for your own good". This theme is carried out, our whole lives, we are told restrictive, laws, rules and regulations are for our own good. Our minds are carefully shaped, to create limitation, so we can be, more easily, controlled.
We realize it is time to look at our own consciousness. What do we want? We are beings of great power. We are, also, beings of great Love. We have been carefully taught, that if freedom was granted everyone, folks would rob, murder and rape. What nonsense! Most of the murdering, raping and robbing, now, are committed by the very governments, that are teaching us, that you are unworthy of freedom.
Again, we are beings of love, what we want is love, love is freedom. We create paradise around us by, freeing ourselves, and embracing the love that is always there.
I have got a big pile of dishes to wash this Morning. Yes, for me, that is Love and Freedom.

SORRY- NO BLOG
A situation came up I had to be involved in. I expected to be home in the early afternoon, giving me plenty of time to blog. I just got home and let my chickens out, they were locked up all day, they are forgiving creatures.
If I have time this weekend, I will write a short blog; most likely Sunday Morning.

BALANCE
It continues hot on Laughing Water Farm. The mosquitoes have yet to abate; but, there is a cooling predicted for next week and this latest mosquito hatch has got to end sometime. From our screen porch, the world is magnificent. There is a hen pheasant that comes into the yard in early evening. She has ten little ones with her, about the size of robins. I was surprised to see daddy standing about thirty feet away observing. I didn't know pheasant roosters stayed close to hens and chicks. The hen and chicks scratch around, under the bushes, in last years fallen leaves; pecking continuously, while daddy watches, almost motionless.
As we reach for love and greater spiritual awareness, we sometimes come in conflict with our bodies. It is a strange conflict. It is an ancient conflict that can be traced back as far as our literature goes. Many saints and savants seemed to be saying, that we needed to give up all bodily focus in order to grow spiritually. Many other saints and savants, pointed out, that this is nonsense. We are in bodies, we identify with our bodies. What we need is balance.
We still have conflict. Why? Perhaps, it is because we were taught to be ashamed of our bodies. Weren't we taught that our bodies were vaguely or not so vaguely sinful? Weren't we taught that sex was a dangerous thing? The institutions, of control, constantly dangled pleasure before us, and then condemned us when we reached for it. Religion has used sex as one of their most significant control mechanisms. Very clever, the ultimate divisiveness, splitting our spirit from our bodies, and creating a war, where none need exist.
We have made a great deal of progress in recent years. Yet conflict still exists. It is true we are not bodies. We are immortal energy manifesting bodies. Our bodies are ephemeral, our spirit immortal. How does that make our bodies bad? One could argue the opposite, we better appreciate them while we can.
One obvious problem, is that our culture, has denied the existence of Spirit. Despite religion, being quite universal, they don't teach much about Spirit, at all. Science has denied Spirit, because they can't accept anything they can't prove. It doesn't seem to occur to them, that they can't prove most of our day to day observations and experiences about life. However, the direction quantum physics and plasma physics is going, science will accept the existence of Spirit, before the laymen in the street. It will be referred to as some kind of energy.
How do we achieve balance? STOP JUDGING! Is it that simple? All those conscious and unconscious prejudices about Body are based on judgement. We can make some simple statements: when we focus exclusively on Body, we blind ourselves to Spirit; when we are pursuing pleasure, spirit awareness takes a back seat. So.............. is that where the problem is? It appears that, the myriad of little judgements, we make are what causes the problem. This dichotomy has been used as a control mechanism for thousands of years. It won't take long to get out of it, however.
We are discovering that judgement, at all levels, blocks Love. All those little judgements we make, prevents light from shining on the issue. As we give up our judgements we will See. All is One, both horizontally and vertically. We are One in Spirit and, as long as we create this physical illusion, it is ours. We are one with it.
We can't pretend that we understand this very well. But, we can be confident, we will. Love will show us the way. In the light. we can See.

In the light. we can See.

WHAT DO WE KNOW
It is hard to believe the Summer is half over. It seems like it just started. It has been hot, and rich in mosquitoes, here on Laughing Water Farm. Time flying is not a new phenomena for me; but, June and the first half of July just zoomed by.
My month old chicks are about ready to go outside for an adventure in the grass. They are mostly feathered out. We have 25 broilers and 25 assorted, old fashioned breed pullets. We have been raising chickens since 1974. Yet, every year, I am not sure when to turn the heat lamp off, when is it safe to let them out, etc. They are little balls of fragile energy when you get them and as their mommy/daddy, you develop a protective attitude towards them. But, they grow so fast. At four weeks they try to run out the door when you open it, to feed and water them. They look to me to be ready for their next adventure.
Our new lambs have settled in. They are very gentle and friendly. The woman we bought them from, obviously loved them. They have that gentleness and familiarity with humans that comes from being cared for and feeling safe. Much of animal temperament is genetic. We have seen, loved and cared for animals, that were frenetic and off the wall. These sheep, however, appear especially peaceful.
So what do we know? What do we believe and why? What if our world, was turned upside down, and everything we used to think, proved untrue? Could we take the shock? How did we inculcate the belief systems we do have?
Most of what we believe, we learned from parents, teachers, ministers, priests and our culture. As we sort through the validity of our beliefs, it is easier to scan what we learned from people, than it is from culture.
Our culture, our environment, our peer group influenced our beliefs greatly. Yet, it is more difficult to see. We absorb, what we think of as knowledge, which is just group opinion; "everybody knows that". The kind of knowledge that everybody knows, on close examination, is unfounded opinion.
How do we get our mind straight? What can we believe? It is easier to label what cannot be believed. For centuries public opinion was manipulated for the gain of a few. All wars, conflicts, divisions, prejudices etc. were engineered to give power and wealth to a few. What we think of as history is nonsense. The successful aggressor always eliminated, the recorded history, that conflicted with their agenda. The destruction of the Alexandria library; the destruction of the Mayan codex by the Spanish; the destruction of native European 'so called' pagan cultures- first by the
Romans and then the Christian church; examples go on and on. We don't really understand ancient Greece, Egypt, Crete, Mesopotamia, Sumeria, Maya, etc; so much has been destroyed, and what is left is misinterpreted by archeologist under the influence of their [our] culture.
Are we okay with accepting the idea that we know nothing? Can we accept the idea, that nothing, we currently get from the media, is true? Perhaps, it wouldn't be as difficult as it seems.
Can we approach each day, as a fresh beginning, a new dawn? A day without a past? A new day to create with our thoughts and feelings? Perhaps we can go about our business, each day, looking for things to love and expecting love around every corner. We don't need to believe anything. We have a beautiful world to explore. Everything around us teaches us. Our illusion is based on duality, so we accept only what is love. We, no longer, accept the darkness in our lives.
Soon truth will emerge. When it happens it will be obvious. We won't be shocked or turned upside down. We recognize we have been manipulated into accepting a whole array of untruths. We are eager to hear the truth. In the meantime, we will go through each day shining our love on the world and feel the love reflected back on us.

FRIDAY MORNING
This is the second time I sat down to write this morning. I started writing early, because I need to go to the feed store and I was, also, eager to see, the seven sheep, we bought yesterday. When I was finished with the draft, I, apparently, neglected to hit publish. When I left the page it was gone. I don't know that I can recreate it, or even, if I should. Well, let us see what will happen.
I finally finished a few things, that I normally do, in Late May. For instance, I planted my gladiolas on the 10th. That is a week beyond the last day to plant them in the Twin City area, if one hopes they will bloom. Our first frost is a week or so earlier than that, so they won't bloom unless we have, as late a Fall, as we had a late Spring.
I had to do a little fencing repair, yesterday, to prepare for the sheep we bought. The sheep, lambs really, large and newly weaned. They should do very well on our pasture. Last Fall, I sold my sheep and the pasture has grown phenomenally. It is a little rank for the taste of some sheep, but it is full of tender plants too, that they will like. Our pasture, has been a pasture, for over a hundred years, it is excellent.
We are amazed at the verdant growth surrounding us. Despite the late Spring, nature seems to have accelerated and made up for lost ground and then some. It has never looked so lush.
It looks like Paradise. Flowers blooming in all the gardens, fat cattle, and milk cows grazing in rich pastures. Everywhere you look there is beauty and richness. We see a world of loveliness and great promise.
The world is Paradise, until, we read the paper, or listen to the news. The media depicts a different world. A world we can ignore.
We need to pay attention to what is going on between our ears, however. It is our thoughts that will determine what we will see. When we are seeing a miserable world, we may protest that it is of our own making. Yet we shouldn't protest. We should celebrate our power. We discover, that we are in charge of our perception. What a wonderful thing! We can decide what the world will look like.
We are beings of great power, that create with Love. We, cannot help, but create paradise. The folks, that have been in control of our world, have dreaded this day. The day, we discover, our collective power; the Power of Love. They have successfully kept us divided. They are masters of divisiveness. They set race against race, nationality against nationality, culture against culture, religion against religion, city against country, gender against gender. Yes, they were masters indeed and, they, still, attempt to keep their lofty station and reap the rewards of wealth and power. They know it is over. It is truly over. They are now fearful of retribution. We won't seek revenge. We will forgive. We see their misery. How can one live without Love?
Yes! We woke up. We realize everybody is equal. We realize everybody is equally worthy. We realize we all derive from Source. We, no longer, will accept a diminished status. We will, no longer, listen to attempts, by anyone, to convince us we are not worthy of Paradise.
We look around us. We see Paradise. It is ours. We deserve it. Keep it in your mind. Reaffirm it. Don't let it slip away. All the universe is behind us. We are surrounded by Unconditional love. Yes, yes, yes, we can make it permanent.

MOSQUITOES
It is an absolutely gorgeous day. Sunny, breezy, seventy-four degrees F, the sky is swarming with dragon flies, dining on the abundance of mosquitoes.
Mosquitoes - what about mosquitoes? We can look out the window and see paradise. We want to have a greater experience of paradise, so we go outside. We are attacked by swarms of insects, each intend to have a blood meal. We don't mind giving a little blood to these creatures. We don't mind a bite here or there. But, to be so inundated, we have to spend all our time warding them off; that robs us of paradise.
The conditions were perfect, for the mosquito harassment, to abate, a little, this Morning.
Is there a metaphor here? If somehow we could know that paradise is here; how many of us could see it?
We look out at the world, through layers and layers of filters or veils, that we made from our thoughts and feelings.
OUR PERCEPTION! Our perception isn't reality, but, it is our reality. We see what we have programed ourselves to see. So, if paradise, were here, could we see it?
Our negative thoughts are like the mosquitoes that continue to harass us and blind us to what is there. Let's look at it another way. Imagine we are born perfect, coming directly from source, we can see paradise. We know no limitation, we only know love. However, our parents, and all others around us, see limitation. They see worry. They see judgement. They see we are unworthy. They may think humankind is hopelessly unworthy. They cloud our breathing space with their sense of limitation, morality, sin and hopelessness. These thought mosquitoes, blind us to what is. Soon, the paradise, that we could have seen, is obliterated, by the perception that was made for us.
Waking up, is unlearning all that these well meaning people taught us. It is lovingly blowing away those mosquitoes. We don't need to believe in them, anymore.
We go through our forgiveness rituals. We still are swarmed with mosquitoes. Haven't we forgiven everybody? Haven't we forgiven ourselves? Don't we know we deserve to live in a paradise?
Ah............ but, we have been taught for lifetimes that we are unworthy. The chief programming of religion, government and all other institutions of control, is unworthiness. People, are easier to control, if they are convinced they are unworthy.
The sense of unworthiness goes very deep, because, it wasn't just our parents and teachers, it was our whole culture that inculcated this sense.
How big a problem is this? We discover it is not as big as it seems. If we look at it, and acknowledge it, it loses its power. We can consciously shine love, on the culture and the people who taught us limitation. We can forgive them and blow away those mosquitoes.
Like everything else, we need to practice feeling worthy. We need to periodically reflect that we came from source. Source in unconditional love, therefore we are unconditional love. There are no ands, ifs, or buts about it, we are unconditional love. We have only learned to hide it from ourselves.
We are very fortunate, living at a time, when Love is flowing so powerfully on the Earth. It is aiding us greatly, in discovering, who we really are. We are magnificent beings of light, worthiness is not an issue, we are part of source.

MONDAY MORNING
After several days of hot and muggy weather, we woke up to a cool Morning; in fact a little chilly. It was over ninety, yesterday. I think it reached 97F. About five o'clock, last evening, it was 93F, when a thunderstorm rolled in. It dropped an inch of rain, and the temperature went to 68F. Overnight, the temperature dropped to 51F. A 42 degree drop in temperature in twelve hours. That's Minnesota.
The rain didn't hurt the mosquitoes. We did get a repellant, from the Amish, that works quite well. It is citronella based and has other herbal ingredients. You have to cover yourself, quite completely, to get the benefit. Miss a spot and the mosquitoes are there.
Jamie and I were just discussing, despite the chaos in the world, there is a peace underlying everything. It is, as if, there is a knowingness that the old world is over. We can feel, the reign of the darkness has ceased. We can only imagine what the world will be like, when we turn our whole attention to love. Just imagine the change, all the energy, now used for destructiveness, used to benefit humankind. No more poverty. Free education, all levels. Everybody free to follow their bliss. Everybody's acknowledgement, that love is the only force there is. A life of incredible joy, incredible peace, incredible love, is in the offing.
All of us, feel at some level, that the New Age is here; although, the awareness can be dim. Probably, a very few, see the light all the time. Many get glimpses and actually, experience paradise, for short periods. Many, like me, accept that the light is here. We, conclude it, intellectually, but, still wallow, too much, in old programs, to get the full benefit, of what we know.
Don't worry about it! The light is so strong that all will realize their enthused with love, soon. We can aid the process, however, by ridding ourselves of those old programs. Anytime, we feel any kind of negativity, know that our ego is engaged. We need to look at ourselves, honestly, where is the negativity coming from? Is it anger? Is it fear? Is it envy? Many times, we will discover it is from an old sore. We hurt someone else or someone hurt us. Forgiveness is the medicine. The power of forgiveness cannot be overstated. Forgiveness doesn't condone the hurtful event. It doesn't say it was okay. Forgiveness recognizes, the event is part of the past, and releases us from the hurt.
Forgiveness is a process. When we release the hurt, we may see the other, as a fellow actor on the stage of life, who is, essentially innocent, whether the hurt was intentional or not.
We need to look at ourselves. Would we hurt that person if we had another chance? Would we free the person, of the hurt, if we had the chance? To fully forgive others we need to forgive ourselves and the reverse is, also, true. When we can see the other as innocent, we will be able to accept our own innocence.
Nobody judges or condemns us, but ourselves. There is no God that judges. That would be impossible. Nobody, that has gone before us, and exists on a spiritual plane, judges us. Nobody, nobody, nobody, judges us. We, here, on Earth, in physical bodies are the only people capable of judgement. Judgement is peculiar to this Earth and it will be soon over.
As we give up our judgements we see that everything is love. We see everybody is love. We can't help but being 'in love'.
Feel the deep peace that is overtaking the Earth. Share in the knowingness, that all is well.
Happy Monday Folks!

MUSINGS
Another beautiful Morning on this part of planet Earth. Well, except for the mosquito. They haven't been too bad until a couple days ago. Annoying sure, but one could put up with them. But this latest hatch; they bite in the day, they bite in the night, they bite in the sunlight, they bite in the shade, wind has little affect on them. There must be a healthy, sane solution. I don't like to smear my body with repellants, especially, chemical ones, that might be worse than the bites. What do, or did, native societies do? Is there a shamanistic solution? We live in paradise. It doesn't make sense that a little mosquito could rob us of it.
I knew a person, who said, he was never bitten by a mosquito. His wife backed him up. He was a thin, bony man; but I assume, that had little bearing. We have a neighbor who claims they never bother him. Interesting, with all our intelligence, we haven't come up with a solution that doesn't involve questionable chemicals.
I am confident we will see how to live, comfortably, with mosquitoes; when we decide to be part of Nature, rather than be, at war with Her.
Yesterday, I was musing about our Forth of July Celebration. I love celebrations and will use any excuse to express my Joy of Life. I love, the ideals, our country was founded on. I love the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. In 1776 we were confronted with a British government that challenged our right to be free. We wrested free from the grip of the British. Since then we have struggled to make freedom a reality for all our citizens. We have never quite accomplished it. But, we created a middle class that felt relatively free, for awhile. At some point, we seemed to forget, that we were not free, yet. Women are still not free. Blacks are still not free. Native Americans are not free. Muslims are certainly not free. Homosexuals have made great strides, but have, a ways to go, to realize freedom and equality.
Patriotism may or may not be a good thing. I can feel the positiveness. However, its negativeness, is that it has been waved in front of us, for over two hundred years, to blind us, to the lack of control we have over our own lives. Patriotism has been used to foment wars, all over the globe. Wars that make the rich richer and leave the rest of us, with dead and wounded, sons and daughters.
After 911, patriotism was used to blind us to the evils of The Patriot Act. An act, as far reaching, as any created by a dictatorial government. Our Bill of Rights is in shambles. Our Supreme Court, which is suppose to uphold the constitution, has been strangling it. Who could ever believe Money is Speech? Finding that, use of money is the same, as use of speech, automatically gives more power, to the rich man, over the rest of us. It is a clear violation of the principles of the constitution.
We are very tired of living in a country that believes in war. We are very tired of living in a country that condones the death penalty. We are very tired of living in a country that has one of the largest [if not the largest] prison population, per capita, in the world.
Hey, we could go on and on. It is clear that our government has been bought and paid for, by international corporations, who are at behest, to no one, except for the big banks that are behind them.
So just like 1776 we are controlled by a power we do not want. Is this power domestic? Is it foreign? I don't think this amalgamation of banks and corporations has any national home. For the ease of communication I call them, the Cabal.
Unlike 1776, we won't use violence. Violence only begets violence. We will merely refuse to cooperate. We have discovered that Love is the greatest power in the universe. It is the ONLY power in the universe. We understand that the Old World was made with fear. That it was maintained by keeping the populace fearful. We will refuse to succumb to fear.
We can feel the Love pouring down on the Earth. We can feel the Love in our neighbors. We are evolving! We are growing out, of the attitudes, that made the Old World. We know that we are one, and inside us, we have the pattern for a perfect world. When in doubt, we need only ask ourselves, what is the most loving thing; what reflects unconditional love.
We are not alone. Every loving thought and deed from the beginning infuses us with energy. We are one with Source and the entire Universe is behind us. Paradise is here. Let us not think of the Old World. Perhaps, I shouldn't have reminded you, of the horror of that world, in these musings. Forgive me if it disturbed you. Remember the Old World is not real. Only Love is real.

PUTTING ONE FOOT AHEAD OF ANOTHER
A parade of beautiful Mornings has blessed us. Yesterday Morning, while sitting on our porch, we spotted a pair of indigo buntings, cavorting in the back yard. Such beautiful creatures. We have seen them, fairly frequently, alongside the driveway, away from the house; but this the first time we have seen them in the yard. Either the wild animals are getting less fearful or my vibes are getting gentler. I have encountered situations where I look up and a deer is standing only a few feet away. Yesterday, this happened, and I took the opportunity to ask her not to eat my Honeycrisp apple tree. I planted the tree three years ago and the deer, have kept it from developing, by eating the leaves. This is a recent phenomena. We have lived here, almost forty years, and just in the last few years, have the deer bothered the apple trees. Last evening I netted the two trees most bothered by the deer. Maybe, we need a bigger dog.
We are gradually getting caught up, due to our late Spring. There are still, a few things, I would have normally done a month ago. No matter what we have to do, or what obstacles are before us, we can only put one foot in front of us at a time. When people ask me casually, "How are you?" I often reply, "I am putting one foot ahead of the other." This is meant as a positive. No matter what our lives are like, we can go forward. One step at a time. We, go forward, and with resolution, we will get to where we are going. We are learning, not to overwhelm ourselves, by seeing what, we think needs to be done. We stay in the moment, and do gently and joyfully what we can.
We sometimes find our selves slipping [or backsliding] into worry. Before the worry takes root, we can yank it out of the garden of our mind, and toss it on the compost heap. A good metaphor, for this time of the year, as we pull weeds from our actual gardens.
Light is getting stronger, love is intensifying. Most of us feel it in some degree, some greatly. As the light increases, so does the polarization. It is, as if, a world of Chaos is existing, alongside, a world of Bliss. It is harder and harder to be, a little bit, in both. As the light gets stronger, we are forced to choose. We will reach a point, where it is obvious, that our thoughts are manifesting. We choose love. We choose to keep our minds free of negativity. We don't want to visit the world of Chaos.
As we pay attention to our thoughts, we learn more, everyday, how important they are, we learn they are the building blocks of our particular universe. Moment by moment, our thoughts paint the picture, we think is our reality. Ah........... but when we stand in the light, that we know is there, we can cleanse ourselves of all negative thinking. This shower of love is available, always. We don't even have to turn on the faucet. Just turn your mind to Love. The shower is there.
Lets stay in the Light today. We don't need to be aware of the World of Chaos. It is not our world. It is a strange and alien world. We belong in the World of Love. The world of Joy. The World of Peace. It is our World.

A MEASURE OF HOPE
I lost interest in watching the news a couple months ago. It would make much more sense if they put a microphone in an insane asylum {my apologies to the mentally ill}. If you listened to the news, you would believe that the world is hell-bent on destroying itself. We continue to mangle, chew up, and poison the Earth in order to maintain a dysfunctional and unhealthy material culture, that is making nobody happy.
If we take a vacation from the news, and talk and listen to the people around us, we experience something different. Most folks have given up support for the old world. We might not be sure what to do next, but we don't want to live in the old world. We know that the divisiveness between people is not natural. We know that if we love each other and the Earth, we will find the solutions to all our problems. We don't have to destroy the Earth to produce energy, We don't have to poison the Earth to raise food. We can take care of each other and raise all out of poverty, almost over night, there is absolutely no need for it. We no longer support, a winner take all society, that creates want for some and wealth for others. We know we are here, to aid each other, and provide service according to our gifts.
When we talk to people, we get the feeling that they know, we are 'one'. It is no longer a theoretical construct on our wish list. It is something we are beginning to feel. To know. As this feeling grows, the support for the old world wanes and collapse accelerates.
This feeling of oneness grows stronger and stronger. Some of us, will try to ignore it for awhile. We may have wished for it, so long, that we can't believe, it is finally happening. Some of our friends and loved ones, are too deep in denial, to feel the change, right now. All will see it soon.
Listen carefully to the people you talk to today, be attuned to the love you feel. We will begin to see, the love, that flows between us. We are on the verge of knowing we are on solid ground, when we postulate, the oneness of all. We are indeed one. And one with Source.
